Our own Mr. Sunday Movies let the cat out of the bag and now comic book fans around the world are scratching their heads, trying to figure out how Captain America's team will ever match the firepower of Iron Man's squad. Well, Chris Evans is out promoting his directorial debut, Before We Go, co-starring Alice Eve, and of course, couldn't escape questions about the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Captain America Civil War. When asked by MTV whether he agrees that Captain America's team seems over-matched, Chris Evans replied, "Do we? Well, maybe you’ll have to see the movie to find out." There are currently rumors floating around that Cap will have a spy on Iron Man's team in the form of Black Widow and that Spider-Man will switch sides after initially allying with Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark. Then there's also rumors that Mark Ruffalo's Hulk will return to provide some muscle for Cap but that looks as if it's no longer the case.
Elsewhere, Evans also spoke with USA Today. This conversation was not about unbalanced superhero teams but about Cap's love life, or lack of one. "Captain America, this is not a guy who knows what love feels like. He wants it, he thinks about it, he knows there’s something missing, but it’s not that he’s ever tasted it." Wth Emily Van Camp reportedly having a bigger role in Civil War, will Captain America finally find what he's missing?
Captain America: Civil War arrives in theaters on on May 6, 2016, in 3D and IMAX.
