Marvel Studios finally revealed the trailer from one of their most anticipated films Captain America Civil War. The trailer somewhat reminds me of Winter Solider with cap going against the “man” to unravel something deeper, yet this time the “man” isn’t his only obstacle. It’s also Tony/Ironman and other heroes that joined Tony side.
I pretty much truly enjoyed this trailer; I like how it shows that it’s telling two different stories. One is Cap once again trying to save Bucky and the other is Cap going against Tony/ the government to save his best friend. I liked how they put in that cap team messed up on a mission and did some damages. Now the government steps in because the U.S government wants it run there own way so no more Collateral damage could happen. This divides the team one lead by Cap and the other by Tony. Tony as seen in the trailer is for doing what the government wants and Cap is not ready to play with them.
I only had two problems with the trailer one is the line Tony tells Cap about his teeth, man was that cheesy. My biggest problem is Tony here is now siding with the government, if you have been following each film Tony has never played well with the government. Even at the end of Age of Ultron or during it he went along with the government even though Hulk (mind controlled by Scarlett) was destroying a city in South Africa. Which the U.S government wanted them out of there and they didn’t leave until they completed their mission of stopping Ultron. Now Tony is finally playing with the government, people have said that it could be because of the guilt he still has over what happened in AOU. I say it could be that or they simply ignoring how the character been throughout multiple films and saying this is how he is now because that’s how he is in the comics.
None of the less I truly very much enjoyed the trailer. Looks like it’s going to have a compelling story like Winter Solider did and I hope the Russo Bros take a huge risk this time around. Because marvel hasn’t taken a risk in a long time in my opinion ever since the first ironman. Hopefully they wont just fight and make up at the end like every other time they have fought and at the end were laughing and joking to each other. But yeah cant wait to this movie might be their best marvel film to date.

Tell me what you guys think or don't think.

Wait, Who else remember the end of the Incredible Hulk, when Tony and General Ross have a little chat? Maybe they put this into place because of that little chat, and now they have to do this, which is starting a Civil War, and Tony will look more like a bad person, because it will turn out that General Ross is not a good person, and Tony was working with him. idk just a thought.

@scorpo i was thinking that also, but then they would have most likely mention it when he first meet bruce that he knew Ross and so on. I think they erased that they ever meet since the scrapped The Incredible Hulk from this universe it seems. Also that little chat had to due more with Hulk than to do with Avengers.

Stark and Ross meeting did happen. They made one brilliant one-shot about it:

@GliderMan it was briefly mention in Avengers and it hasn't been mention in other films that had Shield in it. I don't watch AoS so i wouldn't of known of that, but i did see the pilot and i most likely missed that mention. I did see the easter egg in DD, but that all it was an easter egg doesn't necessarily has to mean anything, since it amply was an easter egg.

@GliderMan I don't see Tony feels disconnected by the differences. We seen avengers argue and have different inputs on things and he never once in those scenes felt disconnected. So why should he feel disconnected now? Why say yes to the government that you've been avoiding and going against in each film you've been in. That continuation of the character doesn't make sense. In the same way Cap shield was able to take on anything then in Winter solider his shield could have hardly handled anything when it came to explosives being thrown at him.

@Aquaman I have to agree, but it was obvious Tony was going to get back to building more suits. Just weird none of those events have been mentioned.

@Aguaman Extremis is used and mentioned in AOS season 1, it's used as the basis for the Centipede serum. But you're right in terms of the films. Iron Man 3 is more of Tony's reaction to the events of the Avengers and finding his place in a world post-Chitauri invasion. In terms of being a meaningful part of the overall universe, it doesn't hold much weight.

The Incredible Hulk is def canon, I believe there's a deleted scene from TIH that shows (Norton) banner trying to kill himself then he directly mentions it in the avengers. Either way I'm geeking out over all the recent prospects.
