Anthony Mackie Talks CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER

While making the press rounds for Gangster Squad Anthony Mackie talked a little bit about Captain America: The Winter Soldier, where he said that he knows what Falcon's costume will looks like, and he is excited about it.

Anthony Mackie is out promoting Gangster Squad, and finally someone has asked him questions about Captain America: The Winter Soldier. While not going into too much detail Mackie told MTV he has read the scrip, as well as seen what his costume will look like. He also went on to praise the Russo brothers. Check out the video below.



On If He Has Seen What Falcon Will Look Like:
"I have, it's pretty awesome. I look like a bad mother-what. It's pretty cool."

On If He Has Read The Script:
"I have read a script, and it's really good. It's fun. The Russo brothers have been really good about keeping me informed of their visions and ideas for what they want the movie to be," he added. "It seems like it's going to work on all accords, so I'm just excited about it."


On Working For Marvel:
"They're very specific about how they utilize talent from movie to movie. They have a long ranging scope on what they want the Marvel franchise to be. They're real smart about it. Nothing happens by happenstance with them."


The film is scheduled to start filming sometime in April. With Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, and Sebastian Stan returning with Chris Evan, with the edition of Anthony Mackie the film is shaping up to be pretty good. CTFA was shit and the Russo bros don't instill any faith in me either. but Anthony Mackie alone will make this movie worth it for me.

Mackie bulked up for Pain and Gain, i was worried he couldnt hang with Chris Evans muscle wise but he's lookin the part. Also pain and gain looks terrible. That is all.

Its not the labels that are destroying music, its the people listing to it. People are told what to like and they like it, music isn't as important to some people as it is to others.Anyone can start a label, you can produce a masterpiece of an album with your computer alone. There are millions of bands out there doing their thing with no label support at all and going strong. I don't listen to the radio or anything the masses say is good, in my taste its never good. Majority of people like simple lyrics with a four chord structure in 4/4. Its been that way since the Beatles

I, like @cipher have a musical taste that's all over the place. Pretty much, I will give a listen to just about any genre of music with very few exceptions. But, I do agree that music has been heading towards the shitter.

Sure hope images of the costume leak since the movie starts filming in two months and I hope they get Captain Americas costume right I'm not too worried about Falcon. Can't wait to see Cross Bones, the actor they got to play Cross Bones is great I just hope they let him be scary. Red Skull was wack in the last movie not scary at all. In the comic book Cross Bones whips Caps ass, I hope they have some great fight scenes. Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie been training like crazy this movie is gonna be crazy. P.S Tupac and Nas the most important rappers of our time.

@Gambgel He didn't say the script was 'funny', he was simply saying that doing a superhero film is fun. Just like I'm sure it was fun for Christian Bale to do TDK trilogy, which was quite serious. There have already been several interviews with the directors and producers were they said this film WILL be much more serious and dark as compared to the first installment (similar to the other Phase 2 films).

Cap looked perfect in Avengers. That was just exactly how it should be. Bucky looked perfect in TFA.

I am positive that they will do something great with Falcon's costume.

I'm honestly surprised to see people bashing Cap TFA!!!It wasn't the BEST Marvel film but considering how tough it must have been to make an interesting cap film I think it was great!My wife even liked it and she is DEF not a fan!Some things weren't that good,but Evans portrayal of Cap's overall honesty and good nature was spot on!
