CAPTAIN MARVEL Prequel Comic Promises To Reveal What Brings Carol Danvers Back To Earth - SPOILERS

Marvel has announced that a prequel comic book for Captain Marvel will be released this November and the solicitation text drops some big hints about what leads to Carol Danvers finally returning home...

At the end of Avengers: Infinity War, we saw Nick Fury use a cosmic pager to contact Captain Marvel and that scene left fans with a lot of questions. Had the former S.H.I.E.L.D. Director been carrying it around with him for decades or was there a reason he had it there? Well, it appears to be the latter based on the solicitation text for a Captain Marvel prequel comic which goes on sale this November.

"Spinning out of the mysterious events of Avengers: Infinity War," it reads, "NICK FURY and MARIA HILL set off on life-or-death missions that lead directly to the appearance of CAPTAIN MARVEL!" In other words, we're going to find out what those two were up to before they were dusted in the superhero ensemble and that's bound to have ramifications for Carol Danvers' solo adventure!

After all, the comic will surely shed some light on why she's not on Earth at the moment and if Marvel is willing to reveal intel like that in one of these prequels, then common sense says we'll be getting a trailer and some details before it reaches stores. Captain Marvel Prelude #1 comes from the creative team of Will Corona Pilgrim and Andrea Di Vito and we'll sure to bring you more details soon.

Seeing Carol in live action will be cool. But everyone knows it'll be Cap'n Rogers that saves the universe in A4 (Avengers: Reborn).

@BlindWedjat - why did Buckys arm turn into ashes but the gun he was holding didn’t? That arm is no more part of Bucky than that gun is.

@WruceBayne - My guess: The arm would need to be connected to his nervous system in order to function as it does. That would make it part of his body more than just a simple tool.

@BlackBeltJones - For heaven's sake Infinity War shows Fury sending her a message. What else would have brought her back to Earth?
