                     Man o Man sitting here reading a few editorials and it seems that all of my fellow geeks,nerds,and chumps have really been appeased by these scraps that studios are providing. Do you not see that they are dangling a carrot to hush us up and forget about the real travesty going on here. Im going to give you guys a treat a 3 part thought of mine that has been brewing for quite sometime. I shall explain how the wool is being pulled over your eyes and with the target demopgraphic changing tides ever 5 years. Basically kiddos your vote wont count for what "the world" wants to see. Lets get to some issues..... (cue Drake music )

                  Issue number one I have with the CBM "man". Why does it take 5 years for you guys to go from announcing a movie to actually putting it out. I mean think about it ? The powers that be are about money, if they put out quality products we will eat it up. Look at it this way Bryan Singer made 8 movies part of the Xmen Franchise ( yes Superman returns was an obvious sabotage event) in 14 years that averages 1 movie per 2 years which is good. But now they are announcing movies as far out as 2022. Look Im gettin older and I dont wanna be waiting 8 years for a story to be completed only to have it rebooted 2 years after that ( Spider man) This 2017 for the JL is pure garbage man. Like for real they gonna slowly start giving us clothes shots like the 60's with Marilyn Monroe. Tell me about a movie witha year or less wait time and quit being a cock (eyed) tease.

                  Issue number 2. Man whats up with these guys remaking,stopping and remaking the same series over and over and over and over. Im tired of this formula of rinse,was repeat. That first Avengers cartoon was pure dope man. then they go to this crap. Man the 90's were truly the era for cartoon superheroes cause these suck. Everything has to be so for kids. I wish Marvel or DC would take a page from Anime. You can tell a continuous story thats animated that adults can watch. I would be biased to say that Dc and their animated movies arent good. My only dislike with that is that first off after watching 1 I want to watch more and second there is no continuity, so there is really nothing to follow or get excited about again just stand alone films. The secret to the animated universe is simple. STOP trying to please everyone and just make quality material.... Heres looking to you Young Justice.......

                 And finally, I would just like to call a spade a spade. This genre that we love so much will soon suffer from over saturation typical to the martial arts and blaxploitation moveis that we love. Our demand for more versus the studios money grab and quick fix offerings such as the television and internet mediums will ultimately eliminate the need to fill the seats. It worked so beautifully when it was just cartoons of the heroes because we all knew there was no way that the story we saw animated would be what we see in theaters. But these studios sudden interest in tying everything together is flawed. I like the Arrow show it's cool and campy and you know what so was Knight Rider and it had  great made for TV movies. But who wants to see him clash in the same fight with Superman. I think they may have been over ambitious with this and Flash. because they saw how Marvel worked with Cap n SHIELD. But ask yourself will it always happen like that to where the story is worth it. With Netflix soon taking on heroes I will be curious to how they make that tie into the universe. My suggestion is that they just allude to it in the show and vice versa in the movies. They do not have to tie everything together because what will inevitably happen is that when one branch falls (meaning a series or a movie is not successful) so shall the tree.................................................................. Hail Hydra

1. It takes more than a few months to put out a movie, and people will be more interested in them if they announce them as they enter development, rather than waiting months before they plan their release. They can't just produce five movies a year in order to wrap up their stories soon. It doesn't work like that.

2. People will get tired of the same show being on the air for twenty years (Simpsons), so it makes sense to create a new version of the show after the old one ends. Same thing applies to video games and movies.

3. I'm not exactly sure how to respond to this one.

Why does it take five years? Because that's about the time a movie takes from concept to filming.

Remakes mostly come from the Marvel licensed properties a move they had to make or they'd have gone bankrupt (again) and now the licensees have to make movies or lose the rights.

Over saturation only comes if there's not enough diversity in the product. As long as the tone's different there's a long way to go yet. The action movie has changed a lot since the 60's but its still there. The only genre to ever go fully defunct is arguably the Western.

@CookieKid247:
That song ruined an entire summer for me. Got stuck with a lot on a campsite who kept playing it for a week from morning until evening. (They rewound the tape every time, they didn't have it on disc, dedicated bastards.)

Same thing happened with Rammstein's Du Hass.

Vortigar= you dont know the unicorn. It does not take 5 years from concept to the screen to make a movie. Look at Ant-Man and JJ Abrams Star Wars. And the only diversity a CBM could really offer is ethnicities, nothing else. All comics essentially have the same premise. Man discovers powers or is born with them, Man learns how to control powers, Man finds woman, Man encounters villain, man fights villain (sometimes over woman), Man gets the girl. That is CBM's in a nutshell

I am very glad that somebody with articulation is FINALLY posting in editorials. Clearly, you are a gentleman and scholar. Let me respond by speaking in your vernacular.

"Man oh man. I know right? Seriously man, the points you made were dope, yo. Because seriously man, how fast a movie is made definitely equals quality dude. It is not how much time and effort is put into a franchise but how short a period with have to wait for a film. They are just pulling the wool over eyes with that bullshit, I know this because I am obviously an expert having watched movies and television my whole life and attended community college on and off. So seriously kiddos, we need instant gratification not films where they take the time to perfect it. Also, everything was much better in the 90's because that isn't SO cliche, is it? Even though the cartoon I mentioned wasn't even made in the 90's. But man, over saturation, am I right? Granted this was a point made thousands of times in better written articles but clearly you now WAY more than us, man. So congrats on the wicked editorial, bro. And anyone who disagrees with us ...well, your opinion doesn't matter because we are masters of all things CBM due to TOTALLY watching a bunch of them. Something you all clearly cannot do as well."

Objectively biased, Now by your avatar it is clear that you were born as a premature baby. You probably were not cool enough to discover weed until ya 30's and view it as an escape from reality now. You sir are everything wrong with America confined to a simple avatar. You are the reason the fat boys broke up, why Outkast hasnt put out a new album, and why no one remembers a Nirvana song that wasnt on Never mind. Do you hear me. You sir are villainous a horrible human being, and will always need the internet to spread your hate and watch cartoon porn. Chump
