Big changes are coming to the world of the X-Men later this year, including the introduction of an officially sanctioned mutant strike force in X-Force.
Now, you can check out all-new variant covers for the debut issue including a group shot by Mahmud Asrar, the first in a series of character pinups by Marcus To, and a "Windowshades" variant cover by Luciano Vecchio.
In addition to Havok, Angel, Pyro, Frenzy, and Feral, the new variant covers also reveal two more recruits: reliable X-Man Dr. Cecilia Reyes and Xyber, a new character whose electronic-based powers are essential to the team's covert missions.
Whether they join for fame, money, or to truly make a difference, they'll band together against emerging mutant factions like the Mutant Underground and X-Term. But mutants know better than anyone to be wary of political machinations, and their loyalty will be tested right off the bat when they find themselves on opposite sides of former friends.
Next up is Exceptional X-Men, one of the flagship titles of the X-Men's upcoming "From the Ashes" era starring Kitty Pryde and Emma Frost as they teach a new class of young X-Men how to survive - and thrive in a world that hates and fears them.
Today, see Kitty and Emma's new protégés in action on three new variant covers. Among the new covers are two group shots by Joelle Jones and Elizabeth Torque, as well as the first in a line of character portraits by David Baldeón.
The X-Men's monumental achievements during the Krakoan age have made being a mutant more dangerous than ever. From honing their gifts at a new training centre in the heart of Chicago to taking down anti-mutant threats emerging throughout the city, Bronze, Melee, and Axo will need to be pushed to their limits.
We'll watch how these three wayward mutants are moulded into formidable X-Men by mutantkind's greatest instructors in the pages of this new series.
Finally, we move on to Wolverine. Logan has remained adamantium-tough through mutantkind's darkest times, but the fall of Krakoa breaks him. Just in time for the character's 50th anniversary, the hero retreats to where the Wolverine legend began - the Canadian wilderness - in a new ongoing series.
There's a killer in the woods - and as Wolverine's attempt at peace is shattered, old enemies re-emerge as an ancient force awakens. Predating the Marvel Universe as we know it, this primal being takes a special interest in Logan, but does it see him as a hero worthy of his legendary reputation or an affront to creation that needs to be eliminated?
With Nightcrawler by his side to bring his old friend home, Logan will have to unleash his claws, push his healing factor to the limit and demonstrate he's the best there is at what he does once and for all...nice be damned!
The new covers include an eye-catching Foil Cover by Patrick Gleason, a homage piece of Frank Miller's iconic Wolverine #1 cover by John Romita Jr., a team-up image between Wolverine and Nightcrawler by Felipe Massafera, a showdown between Wolverine and Cyber by Clayton Crain, and more.
