COMICS: The Resurrected Wolverine Makes His First Post-MARVEL LEGACY Appearance In CAPTAIN AMERICA #695

Marvel recently revealed that Wolverine would make an appearance in a number of monthly titles in "post-credits scenes" and the first of those came in Captain America #695. Hit the jump to check it out!

Going into Marvel Legacy #1, we all assumed the issue would feature the return of Jean Grey. While that character is in the process of returning in Phoenix Resurrection, it was actually the original Wolverine who came back from the dead there and while we saw him in possession of one of the Infinity Stones, we have no idea what he's up to or when he'll make himself known to his fellow heroes.

Well, a few months ago, Marvel announced that Logan would show up in a number of different comics due out this month in what they're calling "post-credits scenes." The first of those came on the final page of Captain America #695 yesterday and, as you can see below, Wolverine tries and fails to find Steve Rogers. Will each of these end up showing the hero one step behind his friends and allies?

Hopefully not but the next "post-credits scene" is going to be in The Mighty Thor #703, so it will be interesting finding out what he's up to and how the Infinity Stones factor into whatever's going on in the Marvel Universe this year. What do you guys think? As always, let us know your thoughts below.

@R2D2Darknight - it would be dope as hell if a post credit scene like this happened in Avengers 4, slyly introducing the next big thing of the MCU!

"And lo, it came to pass that the Feige had no more worlds to conquer. The Bat was in shambles, the Spider had bowed, and the Fox had been tamed by the Mouse.

But a Kingdom Regained is rarely a Kingdom United. A new war was brewing within Marvel itself over who would enjoy the spoils of conquest. For every Perl, however smooth, carries within it a jagged grain of sand."

Kind of annoying that he's trying to find the Avengers first and not the X-Men.

But it was also annoying that he sided with the Avengers in AvX. I mean the X-Men are his family.

Not even a back up, just a single page.
Also, i reeeeally don't like how they are milking him already, not even back for a second and he's already involved in this f*cking storyline that just wants to ride the MCU wave of Infinity War.
I wanted him back with the X-Men, especially now that Jean is back as well!
A part of X-Men Red ffs!
Can't wait for Alonso to gtfo.

@Doomsday8888 - I really hope Marvel doesn't go so far back we see the ScottXLoganXJean love triangle come back.
Scott moved on from Jean a long time ago. Keep it that way.

Yeah, Scott has Emma besides he doesn't deserve Jean.
But Logan is a different story.
Make it happen Marvel.

To be fair the F4's book got cancelled due to poor sales.

But you are right. I'm sure they will be getting their book back again, especially since they have made a return in the comics recently.

Wolverine is the Batman of Marvel. A boring spotlight stealer whos popularity has always confused me.

@billnye69 - the retractable adamantium claws that go SNIKT! That's the hook.

In the story, it's Cap’s first time meeting Kraven. But they've fought several times before. I see Marvel still hasn't got their editors in order.

You know what is frustrating as hell? I keep hearing people complain about the companies milking characters like Wolverine and Batman but nobody seems to be buying any of the comics of smaller characters and their titles are constantly be cancelled to my annoyance.
