In this dawn of amazing technology and futuristic entertainment devices, one game always stands out to fans and critics alike. While other games fall flat from staleness or being recycled from the game changers.

2011 has been a great year for movies, but also a revolutionary year for gaming. With great gameplay like Skyrim, to amazing graphics like Arkham City, and edge-of-your-seat thrills like only Call of Duty can provide, it's been a great year to be a gamer.

So, I figured, why not give us, the fans, a chance to vote on what was the best. No biased critics or unfair winning. Fans picking what they thought was best.

That's when I came up with the CBM Video Game Awards. There will be 12 categories: Game of the Year, Best Adapted Game, Best Graphics, Best Action/Adventure, Best Cast and Crew, Best PS3 Exclusive, Best Xbox 360 Exclusive, Best Wii Game, Best PC Game, Best Thriller/Horror, Best Shooter, and Dishonorable Mentions.

Game of the Year will be decided based on several factors: graphics(1-10), gameplay(1-10), cast and crew(1-10), script(1-10), and replay factor(1-10).

The other categories will be decided in the form of polls in the second article, along with your ratings for the Game of the Year subcategories.

Currently, to make sure it is not biased, I have not nominated any games for any categories, so that you guys can vote fairly. If you would like to see a game nominated, tell me what category and the name of the game. If 3 or more people vote a game for a specific category, I will nominate it in the second article. If nobody voted for anything, I nominate them myself.

Thanks for reading guys and I hope you enjoy. Please vote in the comments for what you want nominated and I'll do what I can. Happy New Year!
