Fans of the BBC Sherlock Holmes series Sherlock starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are able to relive all the best moments in manga form thanks to the publishers at Titan Comics.

Sherlock: A Scandal in Belgravia #2 is the second issue in a series of ten that chronicle Sherlock Holmes' adventures with Irene Adler from Season 2 of BBC's Sherlock. The series captures the magic which the show was loved for while redlivering the story fans enjoyed on screen in beautiful manga form.

The artist wonderfully expresses the actors from the series - with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman practically jumping from the page and making it feel like a seamless transition from the screen to the manga.

We won't give any spoilers, but the issue sets Sherlock up to come face to face with one of his most important literary rivals - Irene Adler. The story does its part to showcase Adler's prowess and why she gives our titular character such a run for his money, setting her up to be quite a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming issues.

This issue of Sherlock: A Scandal in Belgravia does justice to the episode from which it takes inspiration, but not too much happens in issue 2 which sets it apart from the series or makes it unforgettable in its own right. The story is still one worth getting into, whether you're reliving the series in manga form or learning about Adler for the first time though, and its certainly a fun ride for anyone looking for the devil in the details.
