With big panels from DC Entertainment/Warner Bros. and Marvel Studios being pretty much non-existent this year, there's been a lot less in the way of "BIG" news that I'm sure many of us would have liked. In fact, it's hard to believe that it was this time last year when we all thought Joss Whedon had cast Nathan Fillion as Ant-Man, and The Avengers assembled on stage together for the first time. Well, that doesn't mean there's not plenty of other smaller bits and pieces of news to enjoy! Here is a round-up of video interviews from Comic Con, covering Sin City 2, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Dark Knight Rises and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.

"I don't think we'll have trouble [getting stars to come] on board because people loved 'Sin City' and they love that world and they love a chance to play in that arena and so many actors especially love film noir, and it's such an updated modernized film noir that it doesn’t feel nostalgic. It feels new, so I think people will run to be a part of it."

"I was kind of greedy, I loved so many of those stories that I kind of jammed three of them together in a wrap around, but it actually worked because in 'Sin City' anything can happen, so we thought, 'Let's follow that structure, because if we just did one story the audience might feel cheated they didn't get a bigger glimpse of it, especially having waited so long."

"The fantastic thing about Frank's original concept in 'Sin City' [is] his books were always told out of order. So some of them might have died in the very first story, but [they] show up in all the other books because they're all out of chronological order."

"Like all great villains, Curt Connors doesn’t see himself as a villain. He wants to save the world."

"In the same way as Peter is looking for his parents, Curt is looking to complete the circle in his life. They both dance to the tune of the same moral question."

"The films that come before have been great but what makes the difference is Marc Webb has a forensic emotional eye, and so for all the flights and fancies that a superhero film delivers, inevitably there is a human domesticity to this that hopefully will make you believe the cinema."

"I can't [talk about it], so let's have another question. Have you got time for another question? Because you can't have this one.

I love people. People are lovely creatures. I'm one myself [so] I love to see people happy. The Dark Knight Rises looks like it's going to be an awesome, awesome movie. I saw the trailer myself and I am very excited, too."

"I should be working [on 'The Dark Knight Rises'] right now, in fact. I came to Comic-Con just to have a little look."
