It's safe to say that not many of the principal cast of 2017's Justice League fared well with the material given in that film, despite both this and the fact that the majority of his work was cut from the final product audiences were surprised by how much they enjoyed Ray Fisher's performance as Victor Stone.
Since the release of that film, there's been a lot of speculation as to when we will next see Cyborg on screen. There was a solo outing slated for 2020 and the character was expected to make an appearance in Flashpoint, though we've heard nothing from the former and the latter film has since become a more traditional solo Flash outing since John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein joined the project.
Fans are still looking forward to seeing his return though and at a Q&A at Wizard World in Philadelphia Fisher was asked whether he would be interested in reprising his role for a potential Teen Titans movie, the actor responded by saying, "I mean, nothing is off the table, really." Fisher then went on to reveal that he's less concerned where he'll next appear as the DC character and more with the quality and subject matter of whatever project he does next take part in.
"It's like, stories with consequence actually really appeal to me, where characters are going through a recognisable struggle that I see in everyday life." the actor said, "So if that translates to Titans or a Cyborg standalone or Justice League 2, as long as that's there, I'm sold, man. I'm good with anything."
The chances of a Teen Titans film set within the DCEU are slim, what with the upcoming show that is set to debut on DC Universe, the companies new streaming service. Fisher's comments about subject matter should certainly connect with fans though, especially after the very surface level experience of Justice League.
