BOX OFFICE: DEADPOOL Set To Win Another Weekend With Impressive $50 Million Haul

After that record breaking opening weekend, Deadpool is taking aim at an impressive $50 million over the next few days according to Variety. While the R-Rated comic book adapation is facing stiff competition from new releases The Witch and Risen, neither of those will come close to the Merc with the Mouth, so shouldn't put too much of a dent in the movie's haul between now and Monday.

During its first week of release, Deadpool has grossed over $180 million in North America, and it could very well go as high as $60 million this weekend for a total domestic haul of $240 million in only ten days (an awesome feat considering the fact it cost only $58 million to make).

Unfortunately, we don't have any news on how well its performing overseas just yet, but it was reported last weekend that the movie could go as high as $475 million by Monday, so it will be interesting to see if Deadpool has managed to surpass that all important $500 million mark. Regardless, it's clear now that the movie is a hit, so that sequel will surely get a release date soon.
