DEADPOOL 2 Actress Morena Baccarin Makes For An Alluring CATWOMAN In This Impressive Fan-Art

Recently, former Firefly alum Morena Baccarin said she'd love to play either Poison Ivy or Catwoman, and now the Deadpool 2 actress has been transformed into the latter via some impressive new fan-art.

Morena Baccarin already shares the screen with a TV interpretation of Catwoman thanks to her role in Fox's Gotham, but could we actually see the talented actress suit-up as Selina Kyle in Warner Bros.' DC Films Universe?

We're getting a bit ahead of ourselves there, but it definitely sounds like Baccarin would be interested in the role if the opportunity ever came her way, and now thanks to some fan-art from Redditor Roxxy_Ledger, we have some idea of how the Deadpool 2 star might look as the classic Bat-baddie.

This costume seems to be based more on the Arkham Asylum video game incarnation of the character, with a smattering of Julie Newmar's spandex suit from the '60s Batman series thrown in for good measure.

Check it out, and let us know if you think Morena would make a good Catwoman in the comments.

I like Anne Hathaway’s take on Catwoman in DKR . It would be nice to see what take Reeves is going for in his Batman film . Only then could we know what type of Catwoman , if she is even used , would be best for his story line . Cool pic though .

If she's a contemporary of Bruce she'd be great. She is 10 years older than Robbie though, so I'm thinking they might go late 20s-mid 30s with the whole cast.

She’s perfect. The only problem is the DCEU

There’s suppose to be Batgirl & Nightwing & Catwoman I’m upcoming films but none of them went to check on Bruce when he was out there killing people

Even Gordon didn’t have any issue with him killing people

Like Alfred didn’t think to have an intervention?

But Snyder wanted to make Dark Knight Returns style Batman so badly without considering its perhaps the worst idea to start a cinematic universe Batman around

You know who would be perfect to hold a mirror up to Batman & call him out?

Harvey Bullock

Imagine Bullock being the one to tell Batman how he’s changed & how this isn’t the way to do things. How he’s better than this & despite their differences he’s always respected how Batman has aided to GCPD & had their backs.

That would be beautiful

I think she would make a great Catwoman. I would definitely like to see Selina appear in The Batman.

@LEVITIKUZ - This has been a long time coming in my opinion.

The Martha scene is something that deserved to be mocked by Deadpool since the moment it was written onto BvS's script.

@IronMandarin - Some people have gone on to further analyze the Martha scene, and came up with their opinion on why the scene actually works...

I still don’t like the scene. If the scene played out with Superman pleading with Batman to spare him, so that his mother wouldn’t be killed, the scene would’ve played out much better. Bruce Wayne became Batman to prevent innocent people from experiencing the same tragedy and loss he experienced as a child. Batman would’ve heard Superman out, and let him explain the entire situation.

Instead we got Superman simply yelling, “Save Martha!” Which triggers Batman emotionally, and ultimately leads to Batman and Superman teaming up... It’s no wonder the scene is a punchline used in comics and movies.

@mgeoff88 - I agree! Also, no one really says their mother’s name, they’ll just say mum, mom, mother, etc.
As soon as he says “Save Martha” I just thought that was silly, lazy and just wrong. They really screwed up there.

I’m pretty sure if anyone was in a situation similar to this (minus the super powers, suits, and all that comic book stuff) they would say “save my mother”.
The way that whole scene came to an end just annoyed me. I’m not a DC hater, I love DC but don’t like what we’ve been getting with BvS, SS and JL. I still enjoy watching them but they’re not good - although JL was definitely better.
MoS is good. WW is amazing and one of my favourite CBMs.
I really hope Aquaman and Shazam are great movies and I hope DC can get there sh#t together!

“Save Martha!” deserves to be mocked.
MCU deserve their plaudits.

I heard on the radio this morning that Deadpool 2 is the first ever film to have it's official score be rated with a Parental Advisory Warning.
