Deadpool 2 reportedly features multiple after-credits scenes but another of them has now been revealed and it sounds even better than that scrapped sequence featuring baby Hitler. According to writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, one of these stingers would have featured more characters applying to join X-Force, one of whom would have been Chris Evans as Fantastic Four's Human Torch.

"There were different codas kicked around," Wernick revealed in a recent interview promoting the sequel. "There were more X-Force interviews that were talked about. One was Chris Evans as Human Torch." Asked if that didn't happen because Evans declined to appear, Reese went on to confirm that they never actually got chance to ask the Avengers: Infinity War star if he wanted to appear.

"No, no, we never got that far," he confirmed. "Someone had the idea we actually did and we thought that was better. But we definitely had a lot more X-Force interviews with bizarre, random people coming in to interview." Are you disappointed we never got to see this scene? It would have been pretty damn hilarious, that's for sure! As always, let us know your thoughts down below.

Thank goodness this was scrapped. This sounded a middle finger to Disney acquiring fox.

That would’ve been the best part of the movie for me. I’m seeing it in a few hours, so I don’t know what I think yet, but that would’ve won me over.

@TheMadman - Better yet, Chris Evans as Human Torch asking Deadpool to help him finish out his 3 movie FF contract he has with Fox... and Deadpool refuses.

What would have been funny if he had shown up to have kept the beard and Deadpool would say, "You might have to shave that off, in fact don't worry about will just CGI it out."

They should've done that, along with interviews with Edward Norton, Terrance Howard, and Tobey McGuire with Andrew Garfield together as a duo. No need to reference any of the actual characters, just have cameos by those actors talking shit. Would've been hilarious!

Man the original ff movies are weird, I mean they are comic accurate in a sense, but just so damn weird, making metaphors of celebrity treatment, Mr fantastic dancing, cloudy galactus.

@MrBillCipher - Weird is the perfect word for those movies. Like the costumes were pretty good, Silver Surfer actually looked dope as hell. The acting was pretty decent (Besides Alba imo), the stories weren't complete shit (Besides cloud Galactus) but there's still a lot of weird stuff. I should go back and watch them soon.

As long as the bit would've been funny, and not mean-spirited, I think Chris Evans would've done it. I don't know about Fox. They did allow that joke about the studio not being able to afford more than two X-Men characters, make it into the first movie.

Only a few years removed from playing a primarily comedic Marvel character in a not so successful Marvel comic book movie, Evans got cast to play a completely different Marvel character. That always seemed like an unlikely scenario, that ended up working out. Even Feige admitted in an interview, that there was a bit of hesitation because of that. But his audition for Cap, was just THAT good.

This should've happened.

Wade: hold up. You were a walking cigarette lighter at one point soldier?

Cap: It was another life sir.

*shot of a checklist, several mutant names like Toad and Gambit crosses off*
“Next on my list...”
*Dramatic zoom in on the name Torch*
“Is this guy even a mutie?”
*Evans walks in looking like this*

“What the shit happened to you?? You look like a 70s pornstar, Human Crotch! NEXT!”
