"From the studio that killed Wolverine," comes a brand new red band trailer for Deadpool 2.

Following a bunch of teasing TV spots, Ryan Reynolds has shared the (presumably) final trailer for the upcoming sequel, and it's by far our most impressive look at The Merc With a Mouth's second solo (yes, X-Men Origins was a thing) adventure yet.

There's lots of new stuff to unpack here, but some amusing Marvel and DC digs are bound to get the most attention. In amongst the bevy of action shots are a couple of on-the-nose, but no less hilarious references to a certain Josh Brolin-related baddie, and the bleakness of the DCEU.

Check out the new Deadpool 2 trailer below, and let us know what you think in the comments.

Maybe I'm just not informed but can they say that about DC? I feel like it'd be a legal thing. Less so with Thanos but still? Anyway This was defiently the best trailer. Really enjoyed it

@TheAccuser - As long it's a joke they are fine.

@TheAccuser - I'm definitely not an expert, but I was under the impression that you can talk about whatever you want in a movie. It's more showing it and using specific elements from it that you can't.

@TheAccuser - joke aka a parody prevents legal action

@Dartanian300 - It's all part of "fair use" laws, pretty much how substantial the references they are making are.

I see the Deadpool 2 trailers are following the Deadpool 1 trailers of reusing the same song in every trailer

I mean I love LL but do you not have a higher budget for marketing to use more than 1 song?

(I still have a bad feeling about this film but I hope it’s good)

@LEVITIKUZ - Well last time they couldn't afford more then 2 X-Men, so maybe that's where the music budget went this time ;)
