@mountainman - Damn it damn it damn it! You beat me to it. Stupid job getting in the way of commenting 'n junk. I was going to take it step further and say with all these Brolins from different realities running around it kinda smells like Kang (sniff sniff - yep that's some strong Kang right there). So a throwaway line from Wade about "Is this starting to remind anyone of something?" before he summarily kills all of them (except for Cable, of course) with a snarky comment for each, like for "Old Boy" Brolin: "OMG your own daughter? You sick son of a bitch BLAM BLAM", and the "Goonies' Brolin: "You just left her in that well with a bunch of horny teenagers? You asshole BLAM! BLAM!", etc. Then he gets to the Thanos Brolin and says "You know what? I think you've been through enough. You can go." Which then lets that 2014 Thanos travel to Endgame and OH MY GOD DP IS RESPONSIBLE FOR A:EG!!!!

Man, I REALLY need to keep the hallucinogens to the weekend. Seriously. 😉

Yeah, I'm FAR from convinced that this will keep the same feel and R Rating that the first two films had. This will be a big time watered down R, we all know the Mouse won't be doing the same thing, you're delusional if you think they will.

My ideal is that they both come from the Fox-Men Universe but that Jackman’s Wolverine remains or returns there by the end of the film leaving room for a new MCU Wolverine. I would want Baccarin’s Vanessa to crossover if that is what happens to Wade to bring him into the MCU.

Aw man. I'm disappointed they felt they had to do that. Honestly though, I think it's more about some people just wanting and expecting for a new actor, to take over the Wolverine role. But before Disney purchased Fox, I bet Ryan Reynolds always envisioned, eventually teaming up with Jackman. So fans who are upset, should at least understand that context.

My hope for this is that it's the story of the destruction of the Fox-verse and send off for Deadpool into the MCU.

Start the movie as a Fox Deadpool movie might, with no references to the MCU and keeping it tied closely to the Fox-Men universe. But then, an incursion causes a multiversal rift in the Fox-verse. Have the movie either be Deadpool literally running from the MCU, teaming up with Wolverine to try and save the Fox-Verse (they fail, everyone does), or have the movie be about Deadpool realizing that the MCU is his ticket to start over, so he runs through the Fox-Verse killing characters off. But he can't kill Wolverine.

I think making this a spin on "Deadpool kills the Marvel Universe", but specifically the Fox Universe, would be so much fun.

Alternatively, I guess it could be a multiversal road trip, which might give them an opportunity for a Hulk vs Wolverine fight.

@SheepishOne - I think they can do both a road trip and a Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe.

Could start the movie with Deadpool killing all the Fox characters, which leads to him crossing paths with Wolverine. Obviously Deadpool won't/can't kill Wolverine, so they go on a multiversal roadtrip looking for new places to settle (maybe while being hunted by Stryfe?)
