With just one week to go until Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness arrives in theaters, the first clip from the movie has been released. Seemingly taking place moments after America Chavez lands in the MCU, we see Stephen Strange leap into action against the villainous Gargantos.
It's an exciting action scene, but based on what we see here, it doesn't appear as if Gargantos is either Shuma-Gorath or the tentacled creature teased throughout What If...?'s first season.
Regardless, the sequel looks great and we're very excited to see what else Sam Raimi has in store for us. Screenings begin on Monday, so it won't be too long before reactions and reviews start surfacing online. Whether Marvel Studios can keep all those cameos under wraps remains to be seen, though we'd recommend avoiding Variety's review as they've become well-known for dropping spoilers!
