Avengers:
Film starts with news reports showing mass destruction across the US caused by the Hulk. These rampages seem random and the Hulk looks much stronger than before.
Director of SHIELD, Nick Fury, calls a meeting to discuss the Hulk. At the meeting is Nick Fury himself, General Ross, Iron Man, War Machine, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Hank Pym (not yet Ant-Man).
They decide that only as a team could they stop the Hulk. The main team will be lead by Iron Man and consist of Hawkeye, War Machine, and Black Widow. Nick Fury will act as recon and Hank Pym acts similarly to Q in James Bond. In the movie it is him who designs the Quinjet.
A scene shows that in the Arctic circle, explorers have made a "miraculous discovery". (I want this scene to be the last scene of The First Avenger: Captain America)
Iron Man leads the first "assault" on the Hulk which after some awesome battle scenes, results in a failure, however after this the Hulk goes underground. After the failure, a scene shows Fury before Thor, asking for his help, in which Thor replies that he is too busy searching for Loki (whom in an after credits scene in the Thor movie escapes imprisonment in Asgard)
On the news, the Arctic discovery is unveiled as Captain America frozen in ice. His frozen body is then transported to SHIELD headquarters under Nick Fury's orders and Hank Pym is assigned to "defrost" him.
Captain America is "defrosted" and freaks out etc.
Nick Fury and Black Widow plan to track down the Hulk, whilst the team are seen tackling smaller villains, Hank Pym is seen with Stever Rogers helping to rehabilitate him. This is a sequence of short scenes which also include news reports of the team's growing poopularity and the discovery of the "presumed-dead American hero".
Fury locates the Hulk and summons the team. Cap tells Fury that he wants to join the team but Fury declines.
The team leaves to fight the Hulk, with Cap following in secret.
Another battle in which after a long fight the team succeed, due to Cap appearing.
The Hulk is heavily restrained and taken back to SHIELD HQ where Hank Pym manages to change Hulk back into Bruce Banner. Banner informs them that he is being controlled by an unknown force. He is aware of what is happening but can do nothing to stop himself. Pym's scans show anomalies in Banner's brainwaves which confirm this.
Fury appears before Thor again and asks if Loki could be behind the Hulk's rampages, to which Thor believes he must be. He decides to help in the fight against Loki.
Now cue awesome scene in which the team: Cap, Iron Man, Thor, Hawkeye, War Machine, and Black Widow, along with Hank Pym and Fury appear before Bruce Banner. Thor: "We shall bring this traitor of Asgard to his knees." Iron Man: (to Banner) "Loki will pay for what he has done to you, to all of us. We shall avenge you." Cap: "We shall avenge America, for the damage he has caused. For we are stand together as a team. A team, of Avengers" (Cue awesome music lol) (well summat along those lines)
Fury and Black Widow act as recon and with the help of Thor and Hank Pym locate Loki. The Avengers: Cap, Iron Man, Thor, Hawkeye, and War Machine set off to fight Loki.
Awesome massive battle involving Loki (and minions). Fury and Black Widow join the fight to help. Banner (back at SHIELD HQ) transforms into the Hulk and escapes, arriving at the battle scene and fighting, against Loki.
Cap, Iron Man, and Thor have a 3 on 1 fight with Loki as the others hold back his minions. Loki loses and is imprisoned in Asgard by Thor.
After the battle a sequence of new reports show the popularity of the Avengers and especially Captain America who becomes the group's figure head with SHIELD and Stark funding the group.
After this, Black Widow leaves the group to become a solo agent of SHIELD, Banner leaves into the wilderness, Thor disclaims the great honour it was to fight alongside the heroes and vows to join the team permanently, War Machine leaves the team to pursue his own form of "vigilante justice".
Film ends with Fury appearing before Cap, Iron Man, Thor, and Hawkeye; stating that there is a new threat. Final shot of the team and Cap raising his shield, shouting, "AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!"
