I saw Captain America: The Winter Soldier last night and I was blown away. Great film. I wasn't a huge Cap fan going in to the movie but the Captain now has my full respect and dedication. Where does Captain America 3 go to continue this story line? WARNING SPOILERS TO COME IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE
Villains:
Baron Zemo
Crossbones
Crossbones is an obvious choice due to the fact that this movie acted almost like an origin story for him and the Winter Soldier (more on that later). Baron Zemo is the perfect threat to Captain America. He has the intellect, fighting skills and devotion to HYDRA that would give Cap a run for his money. So, Baron Zemo as the main villain, Crossbones as some very useful muscle.
Heroes
Falcon Winter Soldier Black Widow
Falcon needs to return. At the end of Winter Soldier he promised to help Cap and thats what he's gonna do. I'll skip Winter Soldier for a second. I was very close to having Hawkeye be Cap's other assistance for this go around but after seeing the movie and witnessing the chemistry between Cap and Widow, I have a burning desire to see more! Now, Winter Soldier. For the beginning of the movie, I don't want to see the Winter Soldier with Cap and the crew. I want him to be a silent force, like he was for years, doing what he can to right his wrongs. He now knows that he had a life before becoming the Winter Soldier and that was good and wholesome. Assuming he has more flashbacks, he knows that Steve Rogers and him were friends. As a character, he needs to be overrun with guilt, but have a desire to right his wrongs.
THIS NEEDS TO BE BUCKY'S MOVIE AS MUCH AS IT IS CAPTAIN AMERICA'S!!!!!!!
I can see this movie working out like this:
-HYDRA threat is brought to Cap's attention
- Him, Falcon and Black Widow go to investigate
-Winter Soldier follows them around, quietly helping them along the way by eliminating possible threats
-Some side character addresses Bucky asking why he doesn't reveal himself to Cap and Bucky explains his guilt over everything he's done and can't face Cap.
-In the showdown between Crossbones and Cap, Cap is taken down and in danger.
-Winter Soldier comes in and stops Crossbones, saving Cap.
-The two of them talk and explain everything that has gone on between them and where they stand
-The FOUR of them take on Baron Zemo's operation and succeed in defeating him
Obviously this is a rough outline, but that would be my concept on the matter. Tell me what you think will happen in the comments and who you would want to see in this movie.
