sorry but he would suck as cap, he doesn't look like him and doesn't have any qualities that are like cap's, i dont like ackles either, my vote is for sam worthington or an unknown...p.s Fox aren't doing First Avenger: Captain America, Paramount and Marvel are, gd help us all if Fox did it

hes good but i go for Jensen ackles since captain America has to be younger than Robert Downy's and Jensen kinda plays the character of captain America in supernatural

Sam Worthington for cap!

Ackles has tons of charisma. He shows it in every episode of Supernatural, and also in Ten Inch Hero.

How can you say Ackles has no charisma and then go and say Worthington would be better? What charisma has he ever shown?

Ackles fits Cap 20 times more than Worthington. He looks like Cap, he has the build, the height, the confidence, and toughness required for Cap.

I definitely say Sam Worthington would make an excellent Cap. Never watched Supernatural so I can't give an opinion on Jensen Ackles, but based off his performance in Terminator, Sam Worthington is an excellent choice for Captain America. That, and I know he could hold his own on screen with RDJ.

@ Tyler- its not that i dont like ackles, i do, but hes a tv actor, theres no way he could carry a big movie like first avenger and then try and be the leader of the avengers, i mean could you seriously imagine him telling robert downey jr, edward norton, don cheadle, sam jackson or scarlett johansonn around, because i cant, first avenger and the avengers are beyond him, theres no way he could hold his own agaisnt rdj and the rest of them...oh and if you're wondering why i didn't mention hemsworth its cuz ive yet to see him act so i cant say much on him

Naturally, I want the person to play captain America to be American. Sam Worthington hasn't really done much to convince me that he has enough acting skills to play the part. Jensen Ackles seems too young-ish to play the part. I mean for god sakes Captain America has to lead the avengers! Ackles just doesn't seem like the guy to lead Ed Norton's banner, nor Robert downy Jr.'s iron man. The voice doesn't help either. Matthew Fox just doesn't seem bad ass enough to play the part, along with Patrick Wilson. But that's just in my opinion

Great work access! Fox would be as decent as Scott Speedman but never as great as Jensen Ackles. Anyone that choses Sam Worthington over Jensen Ackles simply doesn't know who Steve Rogers is. I mean, stop showing the suit for one second. Anyone can put two and two together. Sam hasn't even one single characteristic that even remotely resembles Steve Rogers. I would litteraly pic Jason Lewis over Sam W. That's how much Sam is wrong for Cap!!! TV actor or not, Jensen Ackles is the only one in the entire TV/Movie industry to ever have shown every single requirement Steve Rogers needs in an actor. Every thing else is speculation based on personal tastes. The facts are undisputed and Jensen is clearly the better Cap. [frick] the stupid argument of him having to stand next to RDJ SLJ or even Norton, Jensen was shown to be an even better actor than Jeffrey Dean Morgan which did a marvelous job in Watchmen AND Supernatural. JDM is a TV actor as well and does amazing on the big screen! Well if JDM can do it, Jensen can top him!!! Steve Rogers is SUPPOSED to be THE YOUNGEST of the team. Him having to earn his leadership has always been part of The Avengers's history!!! If ever you guys wanted to stick to the source material, Jensen's the only choice for Cap!!! There is no argument that can beat these FACTS!!!

I'm again on the same band wagon as LEEE, Fox is the best choice for Barry Allen!!! In fact, he's on my sketch cast list!!! ;)
