Comic Book Movie: Redesigned

User submitted content could be a lot better if we had a formatting tutorial, because the text editor in Manage Articles contains features that most users don't know are there, tricks of the trade that even the Editors aren't using. It's frustrating to see a lotta good writers making amateur mistakes that make potentially great articles look unprofessional and messy, and it's equally frustrating that the next button is one Editor's idea of innovative, next-level formatting. I did talk to Nate about writing an advanced article tutorial, in the chatroom back when we still had a chatroom, and he said they were thinking about doing a video tutorial instead... no word on that yet

But now with the 2016 site updates, there are things that everybody should know by rule of thumb, like you pretty much have to have Picasa 3 on your computer to upload a teaser image that has the right dimensions and doesn't look all blurry and distorted, so you'd think by now there'd be a written guideline somewhere. This layout is really interesting, hopefully this pans out and becomes the template for another site, because we just got a redesign and I don't think anyone's too keen on a fresh start, especially considering how people like myself over reacted when the site changed overnight and the old look was gone.

I love everything about this. Gives a much cleaner, more professional look. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed in how little the last "big update" actually changed. I think it's definitely time for a new look, and I am 1000% behind this one. Great job, man

As a web designer, I can say that this is not very usable. Just being frank here, you have to think of accessibiliity, mobile usage, visibility and ease on Server with all of this. You have to remember that the site is used by a large audience, ability to accomodate advertisements and still remain true to its core.

And more importantly, mobile and tablet usage as it stands now to be one of the highest growing platforms as people use it on the go.

My main problem with the site is that it is not mobile friendly at all. I view the site 99% of the time on a mobile device. How would this scale down to be mobile friendly? I like the direction you have gone with this and I get your rationale :)
