OK first up we have Colin O'Donoghue, who I think would be great for Matt Murdock/Daredevil. You may have seen my comments suggesting him for Doctor Strange, but recently I have had a change of heart. He was amazing in The Rite, easily standing out even alongside Anthony Hopkins. The Rite is a very dark movie, so Colin would have no problems with dark, revolving around exorcism and a priest who is struggling with his faith. So, in my opinion, Colin would wonderfully capture Matt Murdocks struggle (if the movie goes the darker route with the storylines that really put Murdock to the test).
Up next, we have Foggy Nelson, Matt Murdock's trusted friend and partner in law. For this, I think Jay Mohr, who I remember from my family watching Ghost Whisperer every Friday night, and he's really the only memorable character from that otherwise forgettable show (in my opinion). Plus, he even looks like him.
For the third part of this fancast, I choose Olivia Wilde for Elektra. She's truly a superb actor, and I look forward to her role in Cowboys And Aliens. In House, her character arc and struggles are very interesting and at points steal the show. Again, in my opinion. She is gorgeous, a talented actor and she would have draw power from House fans. And trust me... there are a lot of those. (Myself included!)
In my head, there is no better to play Stick than the legendary Clint Eastwood. Talk about draw power....
For Karen Page, Scottie Thompson was the first one that popped up in my head. But not for he probably more notable role in NCIS as Jeanne Benoit, but more for her role in the Counting Crows music video for You Can't Count On Me. But she is a very good actor and would do the role justice. Every role deserves justice... No, I won't make a Matt Murdock lawyer joke there.
Maybe one of my weaker choices so far, but Haley is a stunning actor, stealing the show in Watchmen and delivering a great performance in Nightmare On Elm Street (I haven't seen his other work).
Again, probably one of my weaker choices, but I think Murphy would be a good choice for a younger Ben Urich.
I can't even begin to choose someone for Kingpin, that one is just too hard, so I'll leave him out. If I had to choose a major villain though, I'd rather it be The Hand, and I'm not gonna cast hundreds of ninjas....
