So... If I were to cast a live-action Deadpool Corps movie, these are the actors/actress/dog, that I would choose for the parts. This contains our heroes only. No villains.
First... Let's start with Deadpool. I know that Ryan Reynolds was born to play this part, and with good reason, but I decided to step out of the box a bit. For Deadpool, I chose Josh Duhamel. The guy has decent acting chops and can bring the comedic/cocky attitude that Deadpool has. Not to mention the sarcastic and offensive personality that our hero carries with pride. Josh Duhamel can be seen in the Transformers movies and most recently, Life as we know it. He can give commands to a team, as is shown in the Transformers movies, and he gives a pretty good, albeit limited comedic role in Life as we know it.
Now let's move on to Deadpool's feminine counterpart, Lady Deadpool. I actually went straight for my choice here. I chose Uma Thurman for this role. She has more than proven herself as being able to handle a sword or two and can handle some good action scenes. She's not afraid to get dirty and sink into the roles that she's offered. And to be honest... I think she deserves a second chance at a CBM role. No need to mention her last...um yea. Moving on. Uma has fought many bloody battles in the Kill Bill films and I think she can handle this role with ease.
Dogpool was rather fun to cast, and kind of easy... Once I found the dog that I came across. I don't know much about this dog, but it sure looks like some people have done some mean and terrible things to it.
I had no trouble at all casting for Headpool. Everytime I read his lines in the comics, only one person's voice plays through my head. That person is Gilbert Gottfried. A comedian famous for his out-of-this-world voice, I think this is perfect casting. He can be seen in the Problem Child films and other films as well. Just don't know what they are. His voice was used for the parrot in the Aladdin films.
Last but not least, we come to our youngest member of the Deadpool Corps. Kidpool was kind of hard to cast, but ultimately I did come up with who I think would play the part justice. Angus T. Jones, famous for his role on Two and a Half Men, seems like a very good choice. He's got that attitude and and talent to bring our young lightsaber wielding Corps member to life.
Well... There it is. My first article on CBM. If anyone has already chosen any of these people, I apologize and did not mean to rip your ideas. I haven't seen any of these choices and thought it'd be interesting to get your opinions.
Comment below and thanks for taking the time to read my article.
Apologies for the huge Headpool pic.
