I know some people don't watch animations and that's fine...but I myself will watch animations (or cartoons as other people call them) depending on they are.
Shows that are meant for adults? I watch them. Shows that are meant for kids AND adults? I watch them. Shows that are meant for kids only? I do NOT watch them.
Okay, Now that I've made that clear...
I've always imagined a Star Wars series set between Episodes 4 & 5. If you didn't know: Empire Strikes back was set three years after A New Hope.
Seeing how Revenge of the Sith was set three years after Attack of the Clones, I'm thinking there is a possibilty for a Star Wars series involving the O.T cast. Because as most of you know, Star Wars: The Clone Wars animation series was set during the three years between Attack of the Clones & Revenge of the Sith.
Animation Style: 2D Avatar Style
While I liked the CGI in Clone Wars (particulary in the 4th & 5th season), I would really love to see Star Wars done in 2D.
In a lot of ways 2D seems a bit smoother than CGI, and it seems like they might be able to do more visual wise than with 3D.
What I loved about Avatar is how they combined many different styles. They used 2D animation, but they would mix it with 2D Anime.
Avatar's fight scenes are awesome in most part because of the animation. So just imagine Star Wars fight scenes with that type of animation.
I'm going to cast the prominent recurring characters and I'll post a video for each voice actor, in case you don't recognize them.
Josh Keaton as the voice of
Luke Skywalker
Troy Baker as the voice of
Han Solo
Susan Eisenberg as the voice of
Leia Organa
Keith David as the voice of
Darth Vader
Mark Hamill as the voice of
Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious
