Once again, sincerest apologies for the length.

Season Four: Path of Radiance

Our narrator (Timothy Dalton) gives us a brief overview of Fire Emblem, a series of medieval epics said to rival the works of J.R.R. Tolkein and George R.R. Martin. He provides a quick recap of the previous story, The Blazing Blade, and its sequel, The Binding Blade, dubbing them the historical epics of the series. He then briefly reflects on the standalone, horror-influenced entry The Sacred Stones. It is then that he segues into details of the next book of the series, with an underlying theme one rarely finds in most medieval fiction: social commentary. Like The Sacred Stones, Path of Radiance and its sequel shifted locales in the Fire Emblem saga, bringing readers to the continent of Tellius.

"On the continent of Tellius, a land blessed by the goddess Ashera, live two different races of beings: the Beorc (humans) and the Laguz (animal-like people). According to legend, Ashera created Beorc in her image, and created the Laguz to fill the gap between herself and beasts. The two races have struggled to coexist, leading to racial tensions and conflict on both sides. By the time of our story, Tellius has been divided into seven nations that are in a state of uneasy peace with one another:

-Crimeand--A beorc kingdom that is home to the Greil Mercenaries, and ruled by King Ramon.
[*Considering the current political situation with the Crimea region, I felt a slight name change was needed.*]

-Daein--A beorc kingdom that had become antagonistic ever since King Ashnard ascended the throne.

-Begnion--A beorc theocracy worshiping the goddess Ashera, with its figurehead the young Apostle Sanaki.

-Gallia--Home to the beast tribe of laguz, which recently improved relations with Crimea, thanks to its ruler, King Caineghis.

-Phoenicis--Home to the hawk tribe of laguz, ruled by King Tibarn.

-Kilvas--Home to the raven tribe of laguz, who are considered more cunning and dishonorable than the Hawks. Foreigners are not welcome unless they pay well. Its ruler is the young King Naesala.

-Goldoa--Home of the dragon tribe laguz, it isolates itself from the rest of Tellius. Its ruler is Dheginsea.

-Serenes Forest--A forest located in northwestern Begnion, it was home to the heron tribe laguz. However, it was burnt down 20 years prior and the herons were wiped out, save for its king Lorazieh and his children, Princes Reyson and Rafiel and Princesses Leanne and Lillia.

Our hero for this story is Ike, son of the warrior Greil, and the newest member of the mercenary company that bears his name. For Ike, his entry into the mercenary life brings him into the beginnings of a conflict that will tear the continent asunder. It all begins when, while on a mission near the Crimean border, Ike rescues a certain young woman from a Daein patrol......."

#The Cast of Heroes
*Playable Characters
Note--character classes, for simplicity's sake, will be referred to by earlier game nomenclature.
1. The Greil Mercenaries
+Taron Egerton as the voice of Ike, leader of the Greil Mercenaries (class order: ranger to lord to hero to vanguard)
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm5473782/?ref_=nv_sr_4

Ike is the son of Greil, and assumes leadership of the Greil Mercenaries after his father is killed by the Black Knight. For most of the story, he is in the service of Princess Elincia, serving as her personal bodyguard. Originally introduced as the newest member of the Greil Mercenaries, a number of the other members, including the likes of Boyd and Shinon, look down on him as a rookie, constantly mocking his inexperience and flouting their skills. As news of Daein's invasion eventually reach Greil's ears, Ike is pushed into working twice as hard, all in order to ensure that he is well-prepared to take over the reins of the company. A key characteristic of Ike is his more adult-view of the world, due to having been influenced and raised on the battlefield. He hates saying more than needs to be said, and is always stout-hearted. Some others likely perceive this as him acting above his actual ability, however. Characterized as rather naïve when he is introduced, he often takes things at face value, due to his kind and brave personality, acting very protective of his friends and family. Having indifference towards the status of the Laguz, he is shown to bear no prejudice against the them, whereupon he winds up gaining their trust with his actions, one of which include defending Ranulf from being assaulted by a group of Beorc. Despite having played a major role in liberating Crimea from Daein, Ike is shown to be rather humble, and seeks no reward for his actions, save for the fees he charges as a mercenary. Towards the final battle of the war with Daein, he becomes the wielder of the divine blade Ragnell."

-Liliana Mumy as the voice of Mist, a cleric (later a valkyrie)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Liliana-Mumy/

"Mist is Ike's younger sister, and the daughter of Greil and his wife Elena. She fights with the Greil Mercenaries out of a fear of being separated from her brother, using healing magic taught to her by Rhys. When Lehran's Medallion reaches its critical state, Mist is the only beorc to be affected by its call, and collapses in a similar manner to the Herons. Mist possesses a cheerful demeanor, and enjoys helping others as best she can. This has lead her to attempt to carry out certain tasks that she is not necessarily good at, with examples including cooking and sewing. Mist often makes valiant efforts to befriend others, as can be observed through her making meals for Jill and striking up conversations with Mordecai. Mist harbors a deep love for her family, where she tears up whenever she discusses her deceased father, alongside striving to stay close to Ike in a bid to prevent him from leaving her. Despite the resolve that Mist has, however, she simply abhors fighting, but is able to understand that doing so is key in protecting her loved ones. While Mist usually portrays herself as being a bubbly and optimistic person, she has the tendency to fly into tremendous outbursts of anger, specifically towards those who have harmed her family, such as the Black Knight."

+Vanessa Marshall as the voice of Titania, a paladin (later a gold knight)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Vanessa-Marshall/

"Titania is the deputy commander of the Greil Mercenaries who is trusted by both Greil and Ike. She serves as an adviser of sorts to Ike and often expresses views that clash with those of his close friend and strategist, Soren. She also dislikes talking about her past. Titania was once a knight in service to Crimea. During her time as a knight, she entered an officer exchange program and was sent to Gallia, where she first met Greil. Although she trembled at the sight of his strength, she decided to fight him in a battle, but he swiftly beat her. When Titania asked him to train her, he agreed and they began to spar in their spare hours. After a few weeks, they became fairly close and he invited her to his home. It was at that time that she met his wife, Elena, and his children, Ike and Mist. Eventually, she developed unrequited feelings for Greil, but she kept it as a secret. Her one-sided love continues even after Elena's death, but she still keeps it to herself, as she knows that Greil had dearly loved his wife. Titania is very caring towards all of the members of the Greil Mercenaries and acts as a motherly and powerful figure to the younger ones. She accepts Ike wholeheartedly when he is placed in charge of the Greil Mercenaries and works hard to always support him. She is also shown to be a stern taskmaster."
This was a casting I was thinking of very early on. Marshall has the perfect voice for the character, if her Black Canary on Young Justice is any indicator.

+Adam Wylie as the voice of Soren, a mage (later a wind sage and then an archsage)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/adam-wylie/

"Soren is the staff officer and strategist of the Greil Mercenaries. He is also a close friend of Ike and harbors an undying loyalty to him. Soren was separated from his parents and taken in by a woman who is stated to have only done it "out of duty" and was verbally abusive towards him. At roughly the age of four, Soren was adopted by an old sage who mistook him for a Spirit Charmer due to the mark on his forehead. The woman was delighted to be rid of her burden of looking after Soren and received money compensation. The sage put him through terribly rigorous magic training, had him work day and night, without cease. Eventually, the sage taught him how to use magic. After the sage died, Soren sought aid from a nearby beorc village, but he was forcibly chased away. He also discovered that he was unable to speak, despite being skilled in listening, reading, and writing. When he was near death, a young Ike found him and gave his own lunch to him. Ike also promised to feed him again on the next day. However, on the following day, Soren discovered the carnage left by Greil's berserk rampage that was triggered by Lehran's Medallion. Soren checked the corpses for Ike, but he did not find him and assumed that he was safe. Afterwards, he traveled to Crimea in search of Ike. During his journey, Soren took refuge in a church under the guise of a Spirit Charmer. During his time there, the church workers instructed him in basic matters such as speech. After wandering for several years, he eventually reunited with Ike and joined the Greil Mercenaries. Soren is typically rude and cold towards others, preferring to be alone rather than with the rest of the company. As a result, he appears to be high-strung. Titania thinks that this is because Soren is "a very empathetic young man." He behaves with logic and thinks from a cynical viewpoint, putting the feelings or circumstances of others aside if it benefits the mercenaries. He also suggests not to help others if it hinders the mercenaries. Although he is criticized for this, his tactics are still regarded as impeccable by many, including Ike, who views him as "essential" to the company."
This casting was inspired mainly by Wylie's Brainiac 5 (from Legion of Superheroes).

+Grant George (with an English accent) as the voice of Oscar, a cavalier (later a paladin, then a silver knight)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Grant-George/

"Oscar is a former member of the Crimean Royal Knights 12th Regiment, and is the older brother of Boyd and Rolf. He resigned in order to care for his brothers after their father's death. Despite the huge sacrifice he has made, however, he struggled to make ends meet, as he was unable to make enough money to support the growing needs of his brothers. Taking pity on Oscar's plight, Greil later recruits the brothers into the Greil Mercenaries, providing them with both a stable job and a roof over their heads. When Greil later passes on, Oscar steps in to back Ike up as the new leader of the company, providing him with the solace and support he needs in order to live up to his father's name. Oscar is characterized by a cheerful, calm, and polite disposition, and is rather tolerant to the antics of people around him. Oscar is also renowned for being a good cook, and enjoys receiving feedback on his culinary skills."

-Benjamin Diskin (with a Scottish accent) as the voice of Boyd, a fighter (later a warrior and then a reaver)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Benjamin-Diskin/

"Boyd is the middle child of his family, and joined the Greil Mercenaries in order to support his younger brother Rolf and fight alongside his older brother Oscar. He has a friendly rivalry with Ike, initially doubting him as the leader of the Greil Mercenaries, but eventually coming to terms with him. Boyd is supervised occasionally by his Deputy Commander, Titania. While Oscar is calm, polite, and intelligent, Boyd is the opposite, and tends to be more reckless, brash, and a little dense. This has often led him to be the butt of jokes cracked by his brothers and Mist. Despite this impetuous nature, Boyd is consistently shown to possess a kind heart and a strong sense of justice. Boyd is nonetheless portrayed as an individual who cares little about the tactics or gambles in a battle, and often fights without worrying about the details. He does question his role as a mercenary at times, as can be observed in a conversation with Brom."

-Stuart Allan as the voice of Rolf, an archer (later a sniper and then a marksman)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Stuart-Allan/

"Rolf is the youngest member of the Greil Mercenaries and the younger brother of Oscar and Boyd. He is a mature, loyal young man. He was first taught how to use a bow by Shinon, so that, like Mist, he could be of some use to the group rather than staying behind every time the company went to work. Shinon told Rolf during his training never to tell anyone who taught him, and he remained faithful to that promise, although his eldest brother, Oscar, could detect the secret. Shinon never told anyone, either, respecting Rolf's oath. A later conversation reveals that he is Oscar's and Boyd's half-brother: they share the same father and have two different mothers. When Rolf was an infant, she abandoned her sons and their bedridden father for another love interest, leaving Oscar to take care of the family. Although Rolf is given the opportunity to live with his mother, and she begs for him to return, he chooses to stay with his brothers, saying that she is a stranger to him, considering the fact that she abandoned him, his brothers and his sickly father when he was a baby just to be with another man, and that he would prefer staying in the company of what he considers his true family: Oscar, Boyd, and the rest of the Greil Mercenaries."

+Crispin Freeman (with an Irish accent) as the voice of Rhys, a priest (later a bishop and then a saint)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Crispin-Freeman/

"Joining the Greil Mercenaries a year prior to the events of Path of Radiance when he nursed a severely injured Titania back to health, he assumes the role of a healer in the group. However, Rhys is physically frail himself, and is constantly bedridden with fevers brought about by him overworking. Prior to joining the mercenaries, he stayed at home with his parents and was unable to find work due to his weak constitution. Rhys is a man of unfulfilled dreams; on several occasions, he has spoken with people regarding his various dreams and the activities he wishes he could partake in. Rhys' incapability to take part in such activities stems from his weak constitution, which serves as a barrier that prevents him from fulfilling his dreams. His inability to defend himself and the frequency of his sickness incapacitating him leaves him feeling guilty from time to time; he is always reassured by others that he is an indispensable part of their mercenary group and that they love having him around, much to his joy and relief. On the whole, Rhys is a very gentle and caring person who had been sheltered from the outside world for most of his life, resulting in a naive personality. He has an optimistic outlook on life and often prays for the well-being of his friends, offering assurance and pieces of advice to them when the going gets tough. Rhys sends most of his income home to his elderly parents and is revealed to be an only child."
If I were to suggest inspiration for Freeman in playing Rhys, I'd pick Father Mulcahy from M*A*S*H as a good start. (RIP William Christopher.)

+Will Friedle (lampooning Jason Statham) as the voice of Shinon, a sniper (later a marksman)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/will-friedle/

"Shinon is a sarcastic, self-interested man who is shown as ignorant in his respective games. He is good friends with Gatrie and bears a great respect for Greil, which can be revealed in a support with Janaff where he defends the deceased commander. On the other hand, despite his admiration of Greil, he constantly treats Ike like a foolish child and finds the idea of Greil's son serving as his commander insufferable. In addition, he is quite prejudiced toward the Laguz, referring to them as "sub-humans". Shinon wishes to live a more comfortable life, and feels that the Greil Mercenaries would do better to search out more lucrative employment than scaring bandits away from Crimean villages. Ultimately, he leaves the party, following the news that Ike would succeed Greil as leader of the mercenaries. Shinon does not reappear until much later, when he is employed by the Daein army to help stop Ike's forces from advancing across the Daein border. He rejoins the company grudgingly, under the persuasion of Rolf, but only after Ike has defeated him. Although he does not like to appear openly sympathetic towards anyone, he still cares about the Greil Mercenaries and tries to help out the best he can."

+Joshua LeBar as the voice of Gatrie, a knight (later a general and eventually a marshall)
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0495450/?ref_=nv_sr_4

"Gatrie is a rather positive and optimistic individual, often confident about his abilities both on the battlefield and in relationships. He is rather flirtatious, and constantly attempts to hook up with other female members in the army. This trait of Gatrie's has been taken notice of by other male characters, one of whom include Shinon, who proclaims that Gatrie would "[hit] on a tree if I (Shinon) dressed it in a skirt". Gatrie's lecherous nature has proven to be a major flaw of his, where he has been duped by some of the women he has sought after. Despite their contrasting personalities, Gatrie has a strong friendship with Shinon. The normally cold sniper even asked Gatrie if he wanted him to get the money and eventually used his money to buy them both dinner. Gatrie, is shown to be, to some degree, knowledgeable about his naive nature, but does not view it as a problem."
I think LeBar and Friedle would have much fun with these two characters, almost like they were the Abbott and Costello of the Greil Mercenaries. As for LeBar's casting, Gatrie always reminded me of an anime take on Spider-Man supporting character 'Flash' Thompson, whom LeBar voiced on The Spectacular Spider-Man.

+Danielle Judovits as the voice of Mia, a myrmidon (later a swordmaster and eventually a trueblade)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Danielle-Judovits/

"Mia is a mercenary hired by Crimea, and is captured by Daein soldiers. As a result of being set free by Greil, she joins his mercenary band to pay off her debt, but remained with the mercenaries. Mia's training tends to be rather extreme, with her attempts to spar with Ike being rather aggressive in nature, whereupon she convinces Rhys to stand by the side in order to heal any wounds she may receive. Mia can be described as being energetic and quirky Unusually obsessed when it comes to strength, as seen in her support conversations, she will often run around and challenge the first person she sights to duels. Despite her eccentricities however, she is a genuinely nice girl, as shown during one of her training sessions with Rhys, in which she forbids him to practice with swords anymore because it was making him sick. Mia is observed to be strongly against the traditional stereotype of women not being able to fight, training rigorously every day to prove otherwise. She is thus quick to accuse male opponents of going easy on her or assuming that her prowess as a swordswoman is inferior due to her gender."

+Phil Morris as the voice of Volke, a thief (later an assassin)
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0606862/?ref_=nv_sr_1

"Volke is an assassin who has worked for multiple people, including Greil, Ike, Bastian, and Izuka. He demands gold for whatever job he takes on, regardless of how large or small, though his reasons for amassing so much gold are unknown. He can apparently be reached by going to a bar and asking for a "fireman". As an assassin, Volke is willing to take any job, no matter how "dirty" it is, and once he takes a mission, he devotes himself to completing it, regardless of how long it would take. He only takes one job at a time. Volke is very much a secretive and somewhat amoral character, and with a grand total of one support not much is known about him. He does not seem to have many visible loyalties, seeing as he will do anything and everything for money, even if it involves switching sides immediately after a contract is completed. However, he does show some modesty after Ike thanks him for working for him, although that could be just because Volke is not used to being thanked. He also claims to be uneasy in crowded places, preferring to be alone and in hiding. He shows no open hostility towards the laguz."

2. Heroes from Crimeand
+Rachel Keller as the voice of Elincia, princess and later queen of Crimeand
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm5043859/?ref_=nv_sr_1

"Elincia is the Princess of Crimea and the only known remaining member of the Crimean royal bloodline. Elincia was raised in secrecy from birth, owing to the fact that a political fallout may occur if her existence were to be made public, as she was born after the king’s brother, Prince Renning, had already been named next in line for the throne. Until the Daein invasion, she spent her life at a villa in the countryside, befriending her milk siblings Lucia and Geoffrey at the same time. Due to being raised in such seclusion, Elincia had very little knowledge of the outside world. Before meeting the Greil Mercenaries, she had neither set foot in a Crimean village nor any opportunities to interact with the Crimean commoners. After being rescued by Ike and the mercenaries, she employs them to escort her to the country of Gallia. After Greil is killed by the hand of the Black Knight, Elincia agrees with Ike's decision to fight back against Daein to restore Crimea's independence, accompanying each other for the rest of the game. In the later chapters of the game, Elincia gains the use of swords and staves, and enters the battlefield with a Pegasus steed that once belonged to her great-grandmother. As a result of being sheltered from both the court and the community since birth, Elincia has thus picked up an assortment of manual-based skills at the villa she is raised in, such as that of basic household chores. She is also rather respectful towards everyone she meets, regardless of their rank and class. Elincia also accentuates a deep loyalty to Crimea as its ruler. Her main weapon is the sword Amiti."
Having heard great things about her performance in Fargo, and having seen her on Legion, I'd love to see what Keller could do with Elincia.

+Brandon Routh as the voice of Geoffrey, a paladin (later a silver knight)
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0746125/?ref_=nv_sr_7

"Geoffrey is a Crimean general, and the commander of the Crimean Royal Knights. Geoffrey is the younger brother of Lucia, and is Elincia's milk sibling and a close friend of Bastian. A member of house Delbray, he and Elincia have been friends since childhood. After being separated from Elincia, while still filled with regret over his failure, Geoffrey disguised himself as a merchant along with Lucia and Bastian while they awaited her return. Geoffrey is a rather serious and compassionate individual, and has dedicated his entire life to the service of Elincia. He is renowned for being an individual who takes his duties very seriously, and often comes into odds with the Crimean nobles."
In the Camelot-themed episode of Legends of Tomorrow, we got to see Routh strut his stuff as a would-be knight, so why not see how he does portraying an actual knight?

-Stephanie Lemelin as the voice of Lucia, a swordmaster (later a trueblade)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Stephanie-Lemelin/

"Lucia is a young lady descending from the house of Count Delbray, the older sister of Geoffrey, and the milk sister of Elincia. She commands the Royal Guards with Geoffrey and spearheads a clandestine network of spies to monitor the internal affairs of Crimea. While details of her early years remain unknown, it is known that they were raised with the recently-born princess of Crimea, Elincia, at the royal family’s villa. As the three shared their childhood, they grew very close. Once Lucia grew older, she became a soldier in service to Crimea. Lucia is a wise and rational individual who treats almost everyone she meets with the utmost respect. She holds absolute loyalty to Elincia and is more than willing to undertake any tasks on her behalf, regardless of how difficult or unreasonable they may seem. Lucia is often the subject of long rambling love declarations from Bastian, who appears to be smitten with her. She usually responds to his advances with a nonchalant attitude and rejects him."

+Cary Elwes as the voice of Bastian, a wind sage (later an archsage)
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000144/?ref_=nv_sr_2

"Bastian is the Count of Fayre, and is also a loquacious and influential politician in the Crimean Court. Previously working for Prince Renning, Bastian is also close friends with Geoffrey and Lucia. After the fall of Crimea, Bastian seeks refuge underground, in hopes of liberating his country from Daein. After joining up with the Crimean Liberation Army, he finds his ideologies conflicting with Ike's authority, most likely stemming from his lack of pedigree. Bastian eventually warms up to Ike after witnessing Elincia vouching for him, alongside Ike's proficiency as a hired guard. Bastian is hailed as a master politician by many, as can be observed by the amount of respect he commands in the Crimean Court, alongside possessing a natural skill for cunning. He is shown to be one who takes initiative in carrying out certain tasks which he deems to be of the utmost importance, as can be observed from the investigations he conducts into unearthing the identity of the Black Knight and Bertram. Bastian's speech is laden with symbolic imagery, and often adopts iambic pentameter in the words he articulates. This alludes to him being a rather romantic person, as this mannerism of his merely serves to hyperbolize the emotions that are associated with practically any situation he appears in. Bastian is exceedingly wealthy, and is rather proficient in the art of gambling. Due to the immense loyalty he holds towards Crimea, he ensures that his earnings will always be channelled towards the country's benefit."
THIS guy was definitely a Fire Emblem character tailor-made for Cary Elwes.

+Yuri Lowenthal as the voice of Kieran, a cavalier (later a paladin and then a gold knight)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Yuri-Lowenthal/

"Kieran is the sub-commander of the Crimean Royal Knights, and serves under General Geoffrey. He was a member of Crimea's 5th Platoon, who, alongside Geoffrey, is entrusted with the honorable duty of escorting Elincia, Crimea's secret princess, away from the Daein attack on Melior during the Mad King's War. When the escort is later ambushed by Daein forces, he is captured by the Daein army and held in Castle Canteus. Kieran is later rescued by Ike's forces, whereupon he remains with the combined forces of the Greil Mercenaries and Royal Knights till the end of the war. Kieran is a rather hotblooded, loud and proud individual, and is known to announce his name, rank and title before engaging in any battles. He is also extremely enthusiastic of his position as a Crimean Royal Knight, and constantly trains vigorously to protect his honor, often inflicting wounds upon himself in the process without realizing it. Furthermore, Kieran possesses an energetic and hyperactive disposition, and appears to be unable to quell his excitement in any given situation. Kieran shares a bitter, yet one-sided, rivalry with Oscar, whom he resents for leaving the Crimean Knights."

+Jim Cummings (using a cockney variant of his Winnie-the-Pooh) as the voice of Brom, a knight (later a general and then a marshall)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Jim-Cummings/

"Brom hails from the farming village of Ohma, which is also the hometown of Nephenee, and lives with a large family that consists of many children. He is first encountered when the Greil Mercenaries invade a jail to free Crimean prisoners of war. Imprisoned in a cell to with Kieran, he expresses terror at the prospect of undergoing torture, alongside a fear that he may never see his family members again. When Ike speaks to Brom after successfully breaking him out of his jail cell, he gratefully gets up to leave with the mercenaries, albeit rather clumsily, as he develops cramps from sitting down on the "hard floor" of his cell for too long. After the mercenaries finally rescue all the prisoners, Brom reveals that he is, alongside Nephenee, a "simple country [militiaman] from the same territory", and has merely joined Ike's forces to prevent his fields from being wrested from his possession. He then resolves to fight for Crimea's freedom in Elincia's name, promising to "send [the] Daein milksops packing". On the whole, Brom is a down-to-earth individual, and likes neither war nor violence. He is also rather sensitive, as can be observed in a conversation with Boyd."

+Tara Strong as the voice of Nephenee, a soldier (later a halberdier and then a sentinel)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Tara-Strong/

"Nephenee is the oldest daughter of a large family from the village of Ohma, and has triplet brothers and two sisters. After being captured by Daein soldiers and held as a captive in a prison camp at Castle Canteus alongside Kieran, Brom, and Sephiran, Nephenee is rescued by Ike and the Greil Mercenaries. She expresses her gratitude by joining their ranks. Nephenee appears to be a simple country girl. She is observed to be ashamed of her upbringing, as she often keeps her silence in order to conceal her countryside accent. This has resulted in her suffering from low self-esteem issues, often putting herself down and lacking the confidence to speak amiably with the other characters except for fellow country dwellers like Brom. An example of this trait of hers may be observed in a conversation she shares with Calill, where she expresses immense embarrassment at being told to remove her helmet, claiming that doing so will incite the reproachful stares of everyone else around her."
I think the best inspiration Strong could take in portraying Nephenee would be, of all stories, My Fair Lady--think Eliza Doolittle, only groomed to be a soldier instead of a lady of high society. In fact, Strong did do a variation on that Broadway show in the classic Family Guy episode "One If by Clam, Two If by Sea".

+Ali Hillis as the voice of Calill, a fire sage (later an archsage)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Ali-Hillis/

"Calill first appears when at one point in the war she enters the encampment of the Greil Mercenaries and catches the attention of Ike, whom she mistakenly assumes to be a mere soldier of the army. She then goes into a tirade of self-praising her abilities as a mage, going so far as to claim that the "goddess has seen fit to put the abilities of three people into one delectable package". Calill then offers to allow Ike to hire her free-of-charge, giving him the freedom to decide how much she is worth on the battlefield before paying her accordingly. Later on in the war, she meets up with her lover Largo after Ike agrees to hire him. She then proceeds to inform Ike that he has made a "good hire", proudly proclaiming that he has managed to pin two tigers with his bare hands before. Calill is a rather narcissistic individual, and is extremely over-confident and self-absorbed in her abilities. This has caused her to look down on and criticize several people around her, including Makalov and Largo. Calill also comes off as being rather bossy, as can be observed during her conversation with Nephenee, where she teaches her the ways of a city lady. However, it is later revealed that Calill is, much like Nephenee, born and raised in the countryside, as can be observed through her familiarity with eating beedle nuts. She is also rather flirtatious around men whom she considers to be attractive, despite being in a relationship with Largo."

+David Ramsey as the voice of Largo, a berserker
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0708981/?ref_=nv_sr_1

"Originally hailing from Begnion, Largo travels around the continent of Tellius in search of opponents who are worthy to compete with a warrior of his caliber. He eventually joins Ike's army, introducing himself as a "world-class berserker" who has accomplished many feats, such as pinning two tigers at one go. Largo sports a good-natured and jovial personality, harboring no animosity towards the Laguz race. This may be observed in his organizing of strength competitions with Muarim on a regular basis. Strong and kindhearted as he may be, Largo is not very bright, as can be observed through a conversation he shares with Devdan, where the latter employs ventriloquism to trick him into believing that a drawn stick-figure on a piece of paper is an actual living thing."

3. Heroes from Begnion
+Mae Whitman as the voice of Marcia, a pegasus knight (later a falcoknight and then a seraph knight)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Mae-Whitman/

"Marcia is a knight of Begnion, and the younger sister of Makalov. The name of her pegasus is Apples. A former pegasus knight of Begnion’s Holy Guard, Marcia's officially a deserter, having suddenly left the Holy Guard, as she claims, due to her bumbling older brother who worked up a large debt. She is first encountered confronting a group of pirates in her search for her older brother, Makalov in Port Talma. During this time, the pirates refuse to cooperate with her benign request to spare her brother, to which she attempts to fight them off. After Ike speaks to her, she later joins the Greil Mercenaries out of gratitude for Ike saving her. When she reunites with Makalov later on, she is shown to disguise her concern and worry for him under the facade of anger and hatred. Marcia sports a cheerful demeanor, but is known to enter bouts of anger towards her brother and enemies alike. One of Marcia's distinctive traits can be observed in the manner in which she speaks. On various occasions, she is known to use words such as "clambake" and "sponge-brain" as insults. Furthermore, in place of profanities, Marcia will use words such as "crackers", hinting at the possibility of her being rather childish."

+Johnny Yong Bosch as the voice of Makalov, a cavalier (later a paladin and then a gold knight)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Johnny-Yong-Bosch/

"Makalov is the older brother of Marcia. He is fond of drinking, gambling and slackening off from work, resulting in him often traipsing into troubled waters, in the form of both lawful and unlawful forces alike. This has caused Marcia to constantly worry for his well-being, which she openly displays through angry outbursts of tantrums. Makalov is also known for being one to exploit his relationships with others, as can be observed through his numerous attempts to milk money out of Marcia. Despite the major flaws in Makalov's character, however, it has also been observed that he can be honest under certain circumstances and showing that he deeply cares for his sister."

+Stephanie Sheh as the voice of Astrid, a cavalier (later a paladin and then a silver knight)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Stephanie-Sheh/

"Astrid was born into House Damiell, a prominent house of nobles in Begnion. Her family was very strict and controlling, with several of her siblings being married off to people they neither loved nor grew to love, as can be seen from the sorrowful letters they sent to Astrid. Astrid was later arranged to marry Vice Minister Lekain, who is at least thirty years older than she is. She then decided to resist accepting her fate, whereupon she enlisted with the Begnion knights. However, being somewhat timid and hesitant while wielding her bow in battle, Astrid decided to overcome this weakness by assigning Gatrie (who had left the Greil Mercenaries at the time) as her bodyguard. Astrid is observed to be an individual with a sweet temperament, and is often shy and meek when speaking to others."

+Phil LaMarr (with a variant of his Hermes Conrad) as the voice of Devdan, a halberdier (later a sentinel)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Phil-LaMarr/

"Devdan is a rather amusing individual with an eccentric nature, a trait which is further accentuated by his third person speech. He shows an interest in helping younger members of the army reach their potential. He also enjoys playing tricks on other people, expecting them to react positively to them. However, his pranks often has the reverse effect, scaring or confusing them instead of cheering them up. Devdan is introduced as a soldier forced to work as a guard to Duke Tanas. As he later learns, to his horror, of Duke Tanas keeping Laguz as slaves from Rolf, Mist, Soren or Tormod, he promptly switches allegiances and enlists into Ike's forces, citing an inability to "forgive such callous and unjust actions"."
One can only imagine the kind of fun LaMarr can have with this particular character.

+Kari Wührer as the voice of Tanith, a falcoknight (later a seraph knight)
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001863/?ref_=nv_sr_1

"Tanith is the deputy commander of Begnion's Holy Guard, and has placed her full trust in Sanaki. Amongst her subordinates, Tanith has a reputation of being a strict and fearful officer, which has earned her the nickname "Great Demon". Alongside Sigrun, she spends her life guarding the Empress. This strictness of Tanith's may be observed in a conversation with Marcia, where she expresses irate anger towards her defection from the Falcon Knight squad. It is later revealed that this strictness of Tanith's is nothing more than a means with which she employs in order to express her concern for her comrades, as can be observed in her same conversation with Marcia, where she admits that has faith in her becoming a part of the Empress' Holy Guard."
Mostly inspired by Wührer's Maria Hill from The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but also inspired by a character I see some physical and vocal similarity to--Robotech's Marie Crystal, as voiced by Barbara Goodson.

+Zachary Gordon as the voice of Tormod, a mage (later a fire sage and then an archsage)
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2325393/?ref_=nv_sr_3

"Tormod is the leader of the Laguz Emancipation Army, befriending Sothe and being taken under Calill's tutelage during The Mad King's War. When he first sets eyes on Ike's forces, he jumps to the conclusion that they are acting on Begnion's orders to wipe out his family. Without giving Ike the opportunity to explain himself, Tormod proceeds to command his Laguz mates to engage his forces in battle. When Muarim is defeated, Tormod jumps in to defend him. At this point, the pair's hardships are revealed, with the most prevalent being that of Begnion portraying them as bandits in a bid to wipe them out. Tormod later meets the Apostle Sanaki, where he learns that her rationale for tracing out his band of Laguz allies is to unearth concrete evidence that Begnion's senators have been committing the crime of enslaving Laguz. Despite being rather arrogant, Tormod is very headstrong and enthusiastic, intent on freeing all laguz from slavery. As a result of being raised by Muarim after being orphaned as an infant, he grew to develop a deep respect for the laguz race. Tormod is also observed to be rather sensitive about his height, a trait that is picked on by both Sothe and Ike."

+Khary Payton as the voice of Muarim, a tiger laguz
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Khary-Payton/

"Muarim is a tiger laguz, and is a former slave of a Beorc noble. Muarim acts as a father figure and best friend to Tormod, and fights the Begnion Occupational Army to liberate enslaved laguz. Prior to meeting the Greil Mercenaries, Begnion labels Muarim and Tormod as errant bandits, whereupon Ike's forces are sent to eliminate them. When Ike's forces later encounter the pair in the Grann Desert, Muarim jumps into action to protect both Tormod and his stronghold. It is later revealed that Sanaki is actually trying to expose the senators' crimes of enslaving laguz, and sends Ike's forces to the desert in order to make contact with the Laguz Emancipation Army, spearheaded by Muarim and Tormod. Muarim is an honorable individual, as he constantly seeks to protect other people around him, one of whom is Tormod. He tends to be quick in accepting punishment when he feels he has spoken or acted out of turn, apologizing profusely for his mistakes. This could be an after-effect of his days in slavery. Muarim also detests the idea of children participating in battle skirmishes."

+Michael Jai White as the voice of Stefan, a swordmaster (later a trueblade)
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0925220/?ref_=nv_sr_1

"Stefan is a loner, and his life as a Branded has shaped his personality. The Branded often have capabilities far exceeding that of any beorc, and in Stefan's case, it is his prowess with the blade. He knows much about swordsmanship and can judge another's prowess very well. In a conversation with Soren, it is revealed that Stefan dislikes both Beorc and Laguz because they shun the Branded, stating that the Beorc fear the Branded for their power. He also says that the Laguz are the worst when it comes to dealing with the Branded, as they ignore them completely like they do not even exist. He believes this to be the fate of all Branded, and he believes they should become independent (although originally he believed it might have been possible to live with Crimea and Gallia), hence he and other branded reside in the Grann Desert and Stefan acts as a hermit. Because of this distaste for most of the people of Tellius, the guise of the hermit was perfect as it allowed him to be a loner. He never made true connections with others in Path of Radiance, only acting as a teacher for Ike, a guide for Soren, and an exchanger of ideas with Mordecai, the one he becomes closest with. The isolation that being Branded caused him to understand things much better, and question normal thought."

+Lex Lang as the voice of Haar, a wyvern lord (later a wyvern master)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Lex-Lang/

"Prior to the events of the story, Haar was a member of Begnion's Holy Dracoknights, but later left with the Fizzart Platoon, a prestigious order within the Dracoknights that deserted Begnion alongside their commander, Shiharam Fizzart as a result of being unable to tolerate the senate's corrupted ways. Despite being a particularly lazy individual, Haar is an exceptional fighter, and becomes Shiharam's second-in-command. Shiharam even comes to regard Haar as the son he never had, and thus entrusts him with the task of looking after Jill, placing her in Haar's Wyvern division. When Shiharam is ordered to face off against Ike's forces, Haar is urged to retreat from the battlefield, owing to the fact that Shiharam realizes the relative futility of the conflict. Haar later joins Ike's army when Jill speaks to him. Over the course of the conversation, Haar informs her of his desire to exact revenge on Daein for being the direct cause of Shiharam's unneeded death. He then reveals his plan to get close to Petrine in order to slay her. Haar assumes a rather calm and nonchalant attitude towards practically everything he does, and constantly has trouble staying awake; he can usually be found napping near his army's encampments. Furthermore, on several occasions, Haar is known to express a desire to sleep while participating in battles and marches. Despite these flaws of his, Haar still possesses a strong sense of honor and loyalty towards individuals whom he respects. This may be observed through his persistence to continue serving under Commander Shiharam's command, despite the fact that he is fighting for a hopeless cause."
If I had to give Lang an idea of portraying Haar, I'd suggest thinking of a sleepy Bill Murray.

4. Heroes from Daein
+Grey Griffin as the voice of Illyana, a mage (later a thunder sage and then an archsage)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Grey-DeLisle/

"Ilyana was born and raised in a town in Daein where she was well-liked. However, she eventually decided to become a mage and left the town to seek employment. This time in her life was very difficult and she often collapsed from hunger. During one of these fainting-spells, she was found by a merchant caravan and was nursed back to health. As repayment, she decided to stay with the merchants and guard them with her magic. Prior to the events of Path of Radiance, Ilyana got separated from her group due to a Daein invasion. She was then forced into helping the Daein forces fight Ike and his friends. When she met Ike during the ensuing battle, she learned that the mercenaries were guarding her caravan friends. Upon learning this, she immediately defects from the Daein army to help Ike. Ilyana's most noticeable trait comes in the form of her unusually voracious metabolism. This often causes her to remain ravenous no matter how much she eats, to the point that she may even be on the verge of collapse, despite having consumed large meals. Despite her hunger, she is a good person at heart and she does not like fighting, especially against people she considers to be friends."

+Travis Willingham as the voice of Zihark, a myrmidon (later a swordmaster and then a trueblade)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Travis-Willingham/

"Not much is known of Zihark's past, other than that he was born in Daein, and that he eventually fell in love with a laguz of the beast tribe, despite his homeland's prejudice towards the laguz. However, their relationship did not last, as the stress of being in a forbidden relationship proved too much for her. Despite the premature ending of their relationship, Zihark felt no desire to enter another relationship, and spent his time as a travelling mercenary to aid other Laguz. Zihark was previously assumed by many to be Branded, as that would explain his attachment to Laguz. It is revealed in a battle conversation with Izuka, as well as many talks, that Zihark's attachment with laguz is attributed solely to his past relationship. Zihark first met the Greil Mercenaries while they were trying to board Nasir's ship. Daein troops had blocked the harbor, and Zihark joined the fight along with a small group of vigilantes. Shortly before the battle, he had a conversation with the vigilante leader to determine if any Laguz were fighting with the Greil Mercenaries. When he saw Lethe and Mordecai, he talked to them and joined the Mercenaries, Ike deeming him to be trustworthy despite having "personal reasons he would not like to share"."

+Greg Cipes as the voice of Sothe, a thief (later a rogue and then a 'whisper')
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Greg-Cipes/

"Sothe first met Micaiah [heroine of Path of Radiance's sequel] when he was a young child, and the two eventually formed a close bond, treating each other as brother and sister. During Path of Radiance, Sothe first appears as an orphaned stowaway seeking a lost, unnamed companion and joins the Greil Mercenaries in the war; in Radiant Dawn, it is revealed that that this companion was Micaiah, who fled Daein to prevent him from being affected by her identity as a Branded. Sothe shares a protective, close, and brother-sister type friendship with Micaiah. Due to his childhood life with Micaiah he has an unshakeable faith in her, even to the point he can be a bit of "Micaiah's boss", though that could be due to her leading the army or due to their childhood friendship because she looked after him when he was little. Sothe's overall personality is very calm. According to a conversation with Micaiah, it seems that Sothe does not smile much."
Here's how Cipes could differentiate the younger Sothe of Path of Radiance and his older self from Radiant Dawn--picture his Beast Boy for the younger, with his Kevin Levin (from Ben 10: Alien Force) for the older.

+Caity Lotz (with a light Germanic accent) as the voice of Jill, a wyvern rider (later a wyvern lord and then a wyvern master)
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2362068/?ref_=nv_sr_2

"Jill hails from the Talrega region of Daein, and is the daughter of the famed Wyvern Lord, general Shiharam. Jill aspires to be a renowned Wyvern Lord like her father, and first appears as a novice-ranked Wyvern Rider. During the Mad King’s war, after the Greil Mercenaries were rescued by Goldoan soldiers and Prince Kurthnaga, Jill defected from the Daein army when she spots Ike's forces battling pirate Ravens and joined the liberation effort for Crimea. She later reveals that her main purpose for joining the battle was to experience the thrill of hunting laguz down, alongside an underlying desire to clinch glory for herself. Despite this, however, she chooses to continue fighting alongside the Crimean army after being exposed to the fact that the laguz race is not comprised of the mindless monsters she initially perceives them to be. As Ike's army continues traveling into the domains of Begnion, Ike questions her purpose in staying with his army, despite having the right to leave. She replies by revealing that she has been raised to believe that laguz are evil, where they are referred to as nothing more than "sub-humans" in the schools she once attended. Jill then expresses a desire to remain with the army for a longer period of time, all in order to gain a better understanding of the laguz race."

+Richard Chamberlain as the voice of Tauroneo, a general (later a marshall)
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000328/?ref_=nv_sr_1

"Tauroneo comes from a renowned military family in Daein. He was trained from a young age to be a Knight for the Kingdom of Daein, later becoming a high ranking general of the Daein Army. He sought to continue his family's line of military stars by training his eldest son. He trained his son toughly and when his son finally rode off to battle he lost his arm. Tauroneo let his son leave the military and began to train his second son. Furious, his wife took their children and left Tauroneo. Tauroneo was once one of Daein's steadfast Four Riders. He shared that title with Gawain, Lanvega, and Bryce. For some reason he was stripped of his title when Ashnard came into power (most likely because he was weaker than the other candidates for the position). Tauroneo was good friends with Gawain, recognizing his son Ike due to seeing the parallels in the two's swordsmanship. Tauroneo is often stuck between a rock and hard place when it comes to loyalty to the country or the individual, and as a result, his feelings are often complicated due to having so many different obligations while being caught between the complexities of politics."

5. Heroes from Gallia
+Jason Spisak as the voice of Ranulf, a wildcat laguz
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Jason-Spisak/

"Ranulf is a trusted vassal of King Caineghis of Gallia. When Gallia sends an army to aid in the effort to liberate Crimea, Ranulf is sent as its commander. Ranulf is a bright and friendly individual, and has the tendency to be cheeky when he addresses others. He is also rather intuitive, and is the first character to realize that ***** is the Black Knight. Ranulf is also one to not nurse grudges. This may be observed when Ike accidentally refers to the Laguz race as sub-humans, whereupon Ranulf, understanding that he lacks any knowledge of the Laguz at the time, forgives him. Ranulf's carefree attitude is a facade to his true nature of being fearless, a trait that may be observed in his numerous suicidal displays of courage."

+Masasa Moyo as the voice of Lethe, a wildcat laguz
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Masasa-Moyo/

"Lethe is the leader of a small platoon of Gallian soldiers, and has a younger twin sister named Lyre. Fierce and agile, Lethe is known as one of the harshest characters in the Tellius series, with her honor and respect for her duty leading her to be an extremely intimidating figure, strictly adhereing to her role as a beast-tribe warrior and commander, often being strict on herself and others. Despite this very fact, Lethe does care for her comrades. Though she serves Caineghis and Ranulf, she does not share their belief of pursuing a policy of peaceful coexistence with the Beorc. Her fundamental disgust with human existence shows when she was tasked with leading Ike to Castle Gallia. She has had trouble trusting Beorc having studied the history of the Beorc and Laguz –where “humans” had exploited and enslaved the “sub-humans.” When Soren provoked her, the already tense emotions [she felt toward them] rapidly escalated. However, after witnessing how Ike had used himself as a shield to help dissolve the situation, she began to change her outlook having seen that not all Beorc are bad. Her strong attitude can occasionally invite misunderstandings, and was the reason behind her and her sister Lyre not speaking to each other for a long time. It was not until they reunited in the Laguz Alliance where they reconciled. Despite those arguments, Lethe only desires for Lyre's safety, and she will always try to protect Lyre, even if she has to be mean to her."

+Steven Blum (with his Abomination voice from The Super Hero Squad Show) as the voice of Mordecai, a tiger laguz
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Steve-Blum/

"Mordecai is a warrior of Gallia. Alongside Lethe, he is stationed in Crimea to offer support and to foster relations between the two nations. Mordecai is portrayed as one of the more peace-loving and innocent beast laguz characters, and appears to bear no ill will towards the Beorc race. This may be observed through his interactions with Ilyana, where he treats her with kindness and offers her money to purchase food for herself. Mordecai's tender heart has led him to close his eyes before attacking his enemies, as he has no wish to see them getting torn into shreds. In a number of interactions with several Crimean villagers, Mordecai loves children tremendously, where they comment on how he helped rebuild their village and how the children liked to play with him. His gentle nature shows when he meets Mist, as he admits being afraid that he will scare her with his appearance. He even showed generosity toward Beorc like Ilyana to fill her constant desire for food. Although Mordecai is Lethe's subordinate, he often reprimands her for her violent and hostile behavior towards the beorc in Path of Radiance. In spite of this, however, he has been shown to be unable to back his rage when he is once referred to as a sub-human by Soren. Apart from this one incident, Mordecai has never displayed any other fits of blind rage, garnering the adoration of several beorc individuals with his tranquil nature."

+Kevin Michael Richardson as the voice of Giffca, a lion laguz
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Kevin-Michael-Richardson/

"Accompanying Caineghis since his youth, Giffca is a jet black lion who acts as the king’s advisor. Because of his similar shape to King Caineghis and his dark appearance, he has earned the name “The King’s Shadow” during his time as the king’s personal envoy. To that end, he is nearly equal to Caineghis in every way. Initially, the king sent Ranulf to monitor the progress of Ike and company; but being that Caineghis could not publicly mobilize, Giffca was sent as his substitute to participate in the Crimean Liberation effort. Giffca is a man of few words and not much for conversation, but his sharing of joys and sorrows with King Caineghis as his right hand man since childhood have forged them a bond thicker than blood."

6. Heroes from Phoenicis
+Robert Beltran as the voice of Tibarn, king of Phoenicis
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000296/?ref_=nv_sr_1

"Tibarn is the Hawk King of Phoenicis. Despite his collected manner, he can be blinded by his dislike of beorc, particularly those of Begnion. He was shown, at several times, to be a savage, unforgiving warrior. When he discovered the truth about the Serenes Massacre, he formed an alliance with Gallia and Kilvas and declared war on Begnion. In the war between the Laguz Alliance and Begnion, he engaged Begnion's supreme general, Zelgius, to save Ranulf from being killed. Tibarn is very brave and headstrong, although he does not simply jump into things without thinking about them first. He has a strong sense of honor, as he lets Zelgius go when the Senate calls for him, returning the favor that he got from Zelgius. However, he is willing to use less than honorable actions when the situation demands it, such as when he threatened to throw Sothe off a cliff to stop the battle or his piracy (though out of indignation). He isn't a forgive-and-forget type of person, however, and makes it clear that he wants to destroy Naesala after the raven betrayed the Laguz Alliance. He is protective of Reyson and is friends with him and his sister, Leanne."

+Mike Erwin as the voice of Reyson, prince of the Serenes Herons
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Mike-Erwin/

"Reyson is the third prince of the fallen kingdom of Serenes, and one of the few Herons who survived the Serenes Massacre. Reyson is the brother of Rafiel, Leanne and the deceased Lillia, and the son of the ailing Heron King Lorazieh. As a result of the Begnion citizenry being directly responsible for the Serenes Massacre, he thus bore an antipathy for the Beorc race before encountering Ike's company. Prior to the events of the story, Reyson has been residing in Phoenicis with his bedridden father for twenty years, after the occurrence of the Serenes Massacre. As a result of having stayed in Phoenicis for a prolonged period of time, Reyson has picked up many personality traits from the Hawks, where he possesses a fiery temper and an iron will, unlike the serene demeanor displayed by his brother Rafiel. This has thus led him to carry out certain actions that are uncharacteristic of Herons, such as that of resorting to violence when faced by the avarice of Duke Tanas. Reyson has expressed a desire to be more like Tibarn, whom he describes to possess a "big body" and "strong wings". This has led to him going so far as to attempt to consume Hawk food, a decision that almost caused him to pay dearly with his life."

+Eric Bauza (with a cockney accent) as the voice of Janaff, a hawk laguz
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Eric-Bauza/

"Janaff is one of Tibarn's right-hand men; due to possessing an impeccable sense of sight, he thus serves as the 'eyes' of the Hawk King Tibarn, often sent out on errands to conduct surveillance on vast areas of land on his master's behalf. Janaff is also a good friend of fellow right-hand Ulki's. Despite being older than Ulki by at least five years, Janaff often behaves like a child. He sports an enthusiastic and friendly personality, a trait that is particularly accentuated when he interacts with other Bird Laguz. Despite his bubbly personality, however, Janaff is easily offended, as can be observed by a support conversation he shares with Oscar, where he responds to the latter's politeness with hostility. Janaff is initially prejudiced towards the Beorc, loathing them for the discrimination they have exhibited towards the laguz race. He later changes this perception of his after remaining in Ike's army for a prolonged period of time."

+Dee Baker (with an cockney accent) as the voice of Ulki, a hawk laguz
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Dee-Bradley-Baker/

"In contrast to Janaff, Ulki is more reserved and quiet, and befits his position as the king's ears due to his impeccable sense of hearing. Despite his stern outward appearance and reclusive personality, it is revealed through his conversations that he has a kind heart and tries his best to help his friends as best he can."

7. Heroes from Kilvas
+Milo Ventimiglia as the voice of Naesala, king of Kilvas
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0893257/?ref_=nv_sr_1

"Naesala is the King of Kilvas, home to the Raven Tribe, and is extremely devoted to the welfare of his nation, alongside the surviving members of the desecrated Heron clan. Throughout the events of both games, Naesala is portrayed as a cold, uncaring and narcissistic individual, evasive of ties to any of the other laguz clans, save for the Heron one. Despite this, however, he is extremely devoted to Kilvas, going so far as to commit constant acts of skullduggery against those who trust him for the sake of protecting his people and advancing the country. Ironically enough, this has caused Naesala to be commonly accepted as a strong leader and a good king by many of his peers, including the Apostle Sanaki herself."

8. Heroes from Goldoa
+George Takei as the voice of Nasir, a white dragon laguz
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001786/?ref_=nv_sr_2

"Nasir is first introduced in this game as the captain of a ship sailing under the flag of Begnion. He is paid by Gallia to escort the Greil Mercenaries and Princess Elincia safely to Begnion. Nasir is later revealed to be a double agent, working both as a spy for Gallia and Daein. After successfully gaining Mist's trust, he betrays her by stealing Lehran's Medallion from her and delivering it to the King of Daein. When Nasir later appears before the siblings again, Mist readily forgives him for his actions, giving him little time to explain himself. When the Greil Mercenaries and their allies near the final battle, it is revealed that Nasir is a White Dragon and the grandfather of Ena, and that his main reason for betraying Ike's trust was to reunite Ena with her spouse. Nasir portrays himself as jaded and aloof, but is, in truth, compassionate. Unlike most of the other laguz characters encountered by the Greil Mercenaries near the beginning of their journey, Nasir does not appear to harbor any prejudice towards the beorc race. He even admits to having chosen to live amongst them, in the hope of one day seeing the barrier between the two races dissolved, and to having had his appearance and habits altered in order to pass as a beorc. Nasir deeply treasures kinship ties, as can be observed through his relationship with Ena. This has resulted in him carrying out several dastardly tasks on her behalf, such as betraying the trust the Gallians and the Greil Mercenaries have developed in him."
Takei was one of the first people I had in mind when I was developing this cast, and he was my immediate pick for Nasir.

+Kim Mai Guest as the voice of Ena, a red dragon laguz
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/kim-mai-guest/

"Ena is a red dragon laguz from Goldoa; despite being technically classified as a Red Dragon, her scales are pink in color, and she is characterized by relatively high magic stats. This is a result of the White Dragon blood that she has received from her grandfather, Nasir. Ena makes her first appearance as the personal tactician of Daein general Petrine, where she informs the latter that Elincia is most likely to seek refuge in Gallia. Ena reappears in a later battle, where she is shocked to learn that she has been ordered to lead the Daein forces stationed within Daein Keep. Denied an audience with Mad King Ashnard, Ena is forced to set out to fulfil the duties imposed on her. The Black Knight then enters the scene, notifying Ena to head out for the eastern gate of Daein Keep in order to meet an unnamed visitor. The visitor turns out to be Nasir, who presents Ena with Lehran's Medallion. She takes notice of the medallion's heavy weight, and considers the possibility that it is under the influence of an "evil god". When questioned on her next course of action, Ena resignedly reveals that she is unable to defect from Ashnard's army due to an enigmatic desire to return to an unknown individual's side. Ena accurately surmises that Ashnard will not be "all that upset" if she fails to hold Daein Keep due to him not holding a strong attachment to Daein. Alongside Kasatai, she prepares to engage Ike's army in battle. It is through this battle that Ena's identity as a Dragon Laguz is unveiled after she transforms for the sake of battle. Ena's confidence in her power proves, however, to be unfounded, as she is felled by Ike's forces. She then proceeds to flee from the throne room with the aid of Nasir, who prevents Ike from chasing after her. Ena reappears later, where she and the Black Knight are observed to converse with each other in the throne room of Nados Castle. The Black Knight reveals that he has received orders from Ashnard to dispose of Ena, as the latter has no further use for her. She unwaveringly accepts her fate, only to be knocked unconscious. Ike then dashes into the throne room and challenges him to a duel. Ike manages to defeat the Black Knight, and Nasir enters the throne room and urges everyone to make their escape as the castle begins to collapse. Ena later regains consciousness in the encampment of Ike's forces. She confesses her true identity as the granddaughter of Nasir. As a means to repay her debt to Ike, she then offers to provide information on the location in which Leanne is held captive. Ena leads Ike's forces to Gritnea Tower to save Leanne. When Ranulf later notices something amiss about the air around the tower, Ena reveals that the tower holds the Feral Ones--brainwashed laguz--and goes on to provide rough estimates of the number and type of Feral Ones it holds. When the ensuing battle reaches its conclusion and Leanne has been saved, Ena, alongside Ike and Ranulf, enters the tower, where they are greeted with the tortured corpses of numerous laguz who have been twisted and warped beyond recognition. Here, Ena brings to light the fact that Ashnard considers laguz to be tools in service to his own mad ends, using them to determine whether the powerful beorc he calls to his cause are worthy of his recognition. She goes on to concede a rumor she has heard of scholars being ordered to "perform all kinds of experiments" and use "elixirs to drive them mad and keep them locked in their changed states". It is at this point that she makes an unknown realisation that hardens her resolve to commit herself to aid Ike's army."

1. Fallen Friends
+Clancy Brown as the voice of Greil, former leader of the Greil Mercenaries
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000317/?ref_=nv_sr_1

"Originally known as Gawain, Greil was one of the Four Riders of Daein, once called the "Divine Knight". He was remembered as the premier swordsman of his generation and his name was famous throughout Tellius. It was during this time he trained Zelgius, who called Gawain "invincible" during this period. However, in the year 626 he fled his homeland with his fiancee, the priestess Elena, after she was entrusted with Lehran's Medallion, and the melody Galdr of Release by the heron Lillia, the elder sister of Prince Reyson. They lived in Gallia with Gawain taking on the name Greil, and it was there that Ike and Mist were born. One day, tragedy struck when Greil made the mistake of taking hold of the medallion, and immediately went berserk. After engaging in a mindless slaughter, the medallion was eventually pulled from his grasp by Elena. When he returned to sanity, he found his wife impaled on his own sword. After her death, he hired the assassin, Volke, for the purpose of killing him should he lose his mind again, and slashed the tendons on his dominant sword hand so that he would no longer be able to wield a sword. He entrusted the medallion to Mist, who had the same gentle spirit as her mother, and forbade Ike from ever touching the medallion himself. Greil eventually founded the Greil Mercenaries and earned a living by performing tasks for various villages in Crimea. Sensing the danger that Daein posed upon news of the invasion, he quickly had Ike take on more responsibility within the company, and eventually fled with the mercenaries to Gallia in order to protect Princess Elincia from Daein during the Mad King's War. A day or so later, in the midst of the night, Greil engages in a duel with his former pupil from his days as General Gawain: the Black Knight. Ike shows up during the middle of the battle, when The Black Knight throws the sword Ragnell to Greil, saying that he wishes to fight General Gawain at his full strength. Greil tosses the sword aside, saying that he has thrown the name of Gawain away. He instead chooses to fight with his axe, Urvan. Ultimately losing to the Black Knight, Greil is mortally wounded and dies as Ike hauls him back to the mercenary encampment. In a later conversation between Ike and Titania, it is revealed that Titania loved Greil."

2. Laguz Allies
+Andre Braugher as the voice of Caineghis, king of Gallia
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0105672/?ref_=nv_sr_2

"Caineghis is the valorous king of Gallia, home of the beast tribe and a pivotal laguz nation in the war. Befitting of the name “Lion King”, he is endowed with an impressive physique and nuanced political insight. Wanting to preserve the friendship between the Kingdom of Crimea and Gallia he had fostered during Ramon’s time on the throne, he declared a soldier exchange program. During that time, he met a young Titania. He also employed Greil as a mercenary and found him to be a particularly brave man, which was also how he met Ike. When news of the Daein invasion reached Gallia, Caineghis quickly mobilizes his soldiers, but later laments that he was too late to prevent Greil’s untimely death in battle. After safeguarding Princess Elincia of Crimea, he continues to offer support and manpower as she sets off to the Begnion Empire by sending Lethe and Mordecai with Ike, and later sending Ranulf to help them fight as well. As the King of Gallia and friend of King Ramon of Crimea, he wants nothing more than to see beorc and laguz live together in harmony, although he admits that it is still difficult for him to trust most beorc."

+Brian George as the voice of Dheginsea, king of Goldoa
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0313364/?ref_=nv_sr_3

"Dheginsea is the King of Goldoa, home of the Dragon tribe Laguz and one of Ashera's Three Heroes who defeated the Dark God Yune. He is also known as the Black Dragon King. He had three children: Rajaion, Almedha and Kurthnaga. He is referred to by the Hawk King Tibarn as a "living and stubborn fossil". He constantly urges the Laguz not to fan the flames of war while the location of Lehran's Medallion is unknown: his top priority is to save the world from destruction. It is to this end that he maintains a policy of perfect neutrality."

-Kunal Nayaar as the voice of Kurthnaga, prince of Goldoa
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2471798/?ref_=nv_sr_1

"Kurthnaga is the prince of Goldoa and Dheginsea's youngest child; his siblings are Rajaion and Almedha. Kurthnaga is a soft-spoken, well-mannered and a shy character. He is also seemingly gentle, and became frightened after seeing blood on Ike's sword. Ike's group meets him while stranded in Goldoa. He assists the mercenaries by freeing the ship and sending them on their way. He is the first dragon to change the mercenaries' minds about the dragons. His kind character convinced them that dragons were actually a great species."

-Ron Perlman as the voice of Gareth, a red dragon laguz
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000579/?ref_=nv_sr_1

"Gareth is a member of the Red Dragon tribe of Goldoa, and body guard to King Dheginsea or any royal retainers in need of personal guard (as seen when he stayed near Prince Kurthnaga in their first appearance). He is notably wider-set than your average Red Dragon, and, upon transformation, he is bigger and of a darker hue than most Red Dragons (or any dragon, for that matter). Gareth is a loyal member of the Goldoan Royal Court. Although it is not clearly mentioned, he is a high-ranking member of the court and a retainer to both his King and Prince Kurthnaga. While Dheginsea is immensely powerful, Gareth has been said to impress even Dheginsea, barely beating the latter in raw strength. While that is a source of pride for him, he could not replace Dheginsea as he lacks other kingly qualities such as pragmatism and a level head, something he strongly admires in his king; as such, he extends his unwavering loyalty to Prince Kurthnaga, Dheginsea’s son, who is under his care."

+Terence Stamp as the voice of Nealuchi, a raven laguz
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000654/?ref_=nv_sr_1

"Nealuchi is an elderly raven chamberlain and advisor to Naesala, whom he refers to as 'nestling' (much to Naesala's chagrin), as he was the raven king's caretaker when he was a child."

+Jamie Marchi as the voice of Leanne, princess of the Serenes Herons
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Jamie-Marchi/

"Leanne is the fourth princess of the Heron tribe of the laguz and younger sister to Reyson and Rafiel and daughter to Lorazieh. She is a survivor of the Serenes Massacre and the burning of Serenes Forest, apparently having been asleep in its depths for the past twenty years prior to her discovery. On the night of the Serenes Massacre, Leanne was sent to sleep by her sisters’ magic, and safely survived the ordeal. However it would be twenty years before she would awaken again. During that time, Reyson and Lorazieh, her elder brother and father respectively, presumed her dead along with the rest of the Serenes herons. In the midst of the Mad King’s War, Ike of the Greil’s Mercenaries enters the devastated Serenes Forest in search of the wayward Reyson and to capture Begnion’s Duke Oliver. Deep in the forest, Ike and his comrades are surprised to bump into a young female heron, Leanne. Ike tries to speak with her, but Leanne says something in the ancient tongue and begins to run away, only to faint on the forest floor with Oliver appearing and ordering his men to capture her. Upon hearing this, Ike grabs Leanne and fights with her on his back, Leanne still being unconscious. After Oliver's men pull back, Reyson, Tibarn and his two vassals, Janaff and Ulki, all see Ike with Leanne on his back and agree to aid them in the fight. At this point, Leanne awakens and speaks to the two; she explains how her sisters took her to a small shrine and sung a galldr to make her sleep. The two are both surprised that she survived, and Reyson thanks the forest for keeping her safe. They also ask what Ike’s business in everything is, and he explains that he works for Begnion’s Apostle Sanaki, who wishes to make amends for the Serenes Massacre. Reyson is cynical at first, but agrees to meet with her. Leanne is much like her brother, Reyson, where she can be stubborn to the point of getting her way; she is also very compassionate, and uses her ability to see into the hearts of others to give sympathy to those in need. However, due to her role in the Serenes Massacre, Leanne is innocent and somewhat childish. She can barely speak the Tellius Language, so she mostly speaks the Ancient Language."

3. Allies in Begnion's royalty
+Ariel Winter as the voice of Sanaki, apostle and empress of Begnion
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1736769/?ref_=nv_sr_1

"Sanaki is the empress and Apostle of Begnion. She is actually a young girl that is said to be the vessel of the goddess Ashera. She is a descendant of a long line of Begnion empresses, notably Altina, Meshua, Yoram, and Misaha (her grandmother). After the previous empress' death, Sanaki was backed by the public in the year 640 to become her sucessor despite being just five years old, with the senate appointing senator Sephiran guardian to the young empress. It is later revealed that Sanaki was installed to be no more than a puppet for the senate in order to quell domestic unrest. However, thanks in part to Sephiran, both he and the young empress not only had the public opinion in their favor, but kept the manipulations of the senate at bay. At first, she treats Ike and Elincia coldly and with disdain, but it is in fact a ruse, as she needs Ike's help in uncovering a Laguz slave-trading ring that other Begnion nobles are participating in. After being confronted with the truth around Serenes Forest, Sanaki bowed her head to the herons and begged for forgiveness. Her intentions were deemed genuine enough that even Prince Reyson of Serenes felt his cold feelings toward the beorc lessen. Sanaki is very concerned about manners, and is often put off by Ike's lack of respect in his speech. However, she appears to be very respectful to Laguz, unlike most of the Begnion nobility who disrespect the Laguz and call them sub-human, likely due to being raised by Sephiran, whom she has a very close relationship with. She does occasionally displays an attitude that is appropriate for her age, often acting impulsively and sending those under her servitude into a frenzy."

-Colleen O'Shaughnessy (with a Nordic accent) as the voice of Sigrun, a falcoknight (later a seraph knight)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Colleen-OShaughnessey/

"Sigrun is the commander of Begnion's Holy Guards, and serves directly underneath Apostle Sanaki, the empress of Begnion. In contrast to Tanith, Sigrun is well-loved by her subordinates, since she is kind and compassionate in nature. These traits caused her to give Marcia permission to leave the Holy Guards to search for her missing brother, Makalov. Despite being of noble birth, she does not consider the beorc race to be superior to the laguz race in any way, unlike most Begnion nobles. She is also a skilled warrior for her age, and constantly frets and worries about Sanaki's well-being."

-Phil LaMarr (using a variant of his Samurai Jack) as the voice of Sephiran, a bishop (later a saint)
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Phil-LaMarr/

"Sephiran is the Prime Minister of the Begnion Empire, the most senior member of the Begnion Senate, and the Duke of Persis. He first appears in Path of Radiance in the guise of a pilgrim, although he is later shown to stop the Black Knight; the reason for the knight's obedience is not revealed until later in Radiant Dawn."

-Ian Anthony Dale as the voice of Zelgius, commander of the Begnion army
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1406333/?ref_=nv_sr_1

"General Zelgius is Earl of Kadohl, the greatest general of Begnion, and the right-hand man to Prime Minister Sephiran. It is implied that he is also the general of Prime Minister Sephiran, Duke of Persis' personal army. He and part of the Begnion army arrive at the Daein capital Nevassa after the victory of the Greil Mercenaries there. After introducing himself to Ike and the Greil Mercenaries, he then offers to have the Begnion army fight alongside the army. However, Ike refuses his offer, after hearing Soren talk about what would happen if they received help from the army. Zelgius accepts Ike's decision and says that they will do what they can to support Ike's army."

4. The Merchant Convoy
The Merchant Convoy is a quartet of merchants who are rescued by the Greil Mercenaries after fleeing from Daein's invasion of Crimeand. They offer their services in return for protection. Illyana was also among their number.

+Maurice LaMarche as the voice of Muston the weapons supplier
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Maurice-LaMarche/

"Muston is the gruff and hearty head of the merchant convoy, who's in charge of selling weapons and magic tomes."

+Jennifer Hale as the voice of Aimee the shopkeeper
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Jennifer-Hale/

"Aimee is the flirtatious shopkeeper, providing both potions and elixers as well as acquiring rarer items. She is shown to be in love with Ike and does not try to hide this, being very open about it. She frequently makes advances on Ike, but he always rejects her. She also dislikes Soren, but seems to slightly warm up to him after he tells her about the types of foods that Ike likes so that she can cook for him."

+David Kaufman as the voices of Daniel the weapons smith and Jorge the salvage expert
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/David-Kaufman/

"Twin brothers Daniel and Jorge provide two different services for the Merchant Convoy. The only visible difference between him and Jorge is that Daniel has brown hair, while Jorge has blonde. Daniel also seems to be the kinder and more patient one of the twins. Daniel forges weapons, while Jorge buys older, used weapons to be melted down into raw material for Daniel to use. The two also engage in a strategy game, where Daniel manages to get better at it than Jorge; both brothers ask Ike for advice on moves to make in the game."

*Cast of Villains
1. Major Villains
+Mark Hamill as the voice of Ashnard, king of Daein
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000434/?ref_=nv_sr_1

"The 13th King of the nation of Daein, Ashnard wages war on Crimea in an effort to ignite a continent-wide conflict. His goal is to obtain Lehran's Medallion, the Fire Emblem, which holds the spirit of a dark god that thrives on chaotic energies. Although he obtains the medallion and makes numerous efforts to sow the seeds of war across Tellius, he is ultimately defeated despite being able to use the medallion to gain god-like power. Ashnard's wyvern mount is in fact not a wyvern at all, but the warped form of Rajaion, the prince of Goldoa, a black dragon laguz, and Ena's fiance as well as the brother of Ashnard's wife, Almedha. Before becoming king, he was a great warrior who was able to almost single-handedly grant victory to Daein in a minor conflict between Daein and Begnion. His rise to power was considered highly unlikely, because a long list of other relatives stood ahead of him in line for the throne. Although it is publicly believed that a major illness led to the deaths of the other potential rulers, in reality, they were all killed by Ashnard. Ashnard believes that the current society, based on Begnion's hierarchy, is wrong. He believes that one's lot in life should be solely based on their power; he tells Reyson that class and species will not matter in his world, that the strong will ultimately rule the weak. This likely explains Daein's system, where those who display great levels of might, particularly in combat, have the ability to gain much power within Daein society, regardless of class or social standing."
If you read the Overview part of my fancast series, you'll recall that I posited a hypothetical Fire Emblem anime series as the perfect bridge between the storytelling of Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra and Game of Thrones. Regarding the former show, Hamill's Fire Lord Ozai was the direct inspiration for casting him as the Mad King Ashnard. He would absolutely rule in this role.

+***** as the voice of the Black Knight, one of the Four Riders of Daein

"The Black Knight is the most powerful of Daein's Four Riders. He wore a special suit of full-body black armor that had been blessed by the goddess Ashera, making it impenetrable to all weapons except those that have been divinely blessed, such as Ragnell. He also had access to numerous other arcane items as well, such as the Warp Powder he used to travel, his sword Alondite, and the sword Ragnell, which he gave to Greil seemingly as an act of mercy, although he merely wanted to test his strength against Greil. After killing Greil, he became Ike's mortal enemy, despite Greil's wishes. The Black Knight is defined by his mystery, always appearing encased in full armor, and not going by any formal name. His position as high general in Daein's army was due solely to his immense power and his chivalrous behavior toward Ashnard. When he appears, it is only to do the bidding of his master, and slay anyone who would get in the way. Nobody in Daein's army, not even Ashnard, knows what the Black Knight looks like under his armor. After killing Greil, he realized that it was too easy, as if Greil was holding back. Because of this, he thought he would never be able to surpass his former teacher. The Black Knight spent much of the story aiding Ashnard in his plans, such as providing Ashnard with blessed armor similar to his own. Ultimately, Ike faces off against the Black Knight in a duel at Nados Castle where Ike wins. The Knight is last seen being buried under the rubble of the collapsing castle, his fate unknown until the events of Radiant Dawn."

+Grey Griffin as the voice of Petrine, a paladin and one of the Four Riders of Daein

http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Grey-DeLisle/

"Petrine is one of Daein's Four Riders during The Mad King's War. Petrine wields the Flame Lance, a unique weapon that uses magic for attack power instead of strength. Petrine is strong-willed and intimidating toward those under her command. She shows no fear when confronted by the laguz and calls her men cowards for wanting to flee. However, she is deeply intimidated by Ashnard. When speaking with Ashnard face-to-face, she becomes noticeably nervous in her speech and demeanor while presenting him with Lehran's Medallion. Further, upon being mortally wounded in her battle against the Greil Mercenaries, she begs the absent Ashnard's forgiveness and pleads that she is afraid of dying. Of Daein's Four Riders, Petrine is depicted as the most overtly racist toward the laguz, referring to them as half-breeds. It is revealed in her battle conversation with Soren that she is a Branded, an off-spring of beorc and laguz parentage, when she sees his own brand. Despite this apparent animosity, she appears to hold some level of respect for the dragon laguz Ena, who was appointed as her strategist by Ashnard after managing to prove her abilities to her. Petrine also shows some level of reluctance when Ashnard orders her to kill Ena for her failure to prevent the fall of Daein's capital Nevassa."
Another casting I had in mind since day one, and furthering the Last Airbender/Korra influence, Griffin's Azula is the perfect basis for the equally-cruel and ruthless Petrine.

+Sean Pertwee as the voice of Bryce, a general and one of the Four Riders of Daein
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0675730/?ref_=nv_sr_1

"Bryce is one of the legendary Four Riders (also called the Great Riders) and wields the powerful lance Wishblade. He is also old friends with Greil back when he was known as Gawain. Bryce is extremely loyal to Daein and King Ashnard's predecessors. Even after Ashnard reveals to him it was he himself who killed the previous king, Bryce still believes the royal bloodline must be preserved. Bryce is a man who has devoted his life to Daein. On many occasions, he is confused and somewhat insulted by the lack of care Ashnard and a few other Daein soldiers had when Daein lost a battle. This is seen when Tauroneo fights him, during which he tells Tauroneo that he is fully aware that what Ashnard is doing is wrong, but believes that there is nothing he can do to stop his king. He is slain in Melior Castle's courtyard by the Crimean Army. Unlike most enemies, Bryce fought with honor, which Ike comments on when Bryce is slain by him."

+***** as the voice of Bertram, a paladin and one of the Four Riders of Daein

"Bertram is one of Daein's Four Riders, and was a Crimean soldier who was captured and experimented on with the experimental feral elixer (used to turn laguz into Feral Ones) concocted by Izuka. The elixer turned him into a hissing, mad warrior, but he is later defeated by the Greil Mercenaries at Fort Pinell."

+Tom Kenny as the voice of Izuka, a researcher for Daein and creator of the Feral Ones
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Tom-Kenny/

"Izuka is shown to be in charge of the Tower of Gritnea, the place where he conducted the experiments that resulted in the creation of the Feral Ones. Upon hearing that the Crimean army is approaching, he orders the demented Laguz to be released, and then promptly makes his escape. He is not seen again until the events of Radiant Dawn."

2. Reluctant Villain
+Michael Bell as the voice of Shiharam, a wyvern lord
http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Michael-Bell/

"Shiharam is the father of Jill and a general in the Daein Army, put under the command of Petrine, one of Daein's Four Riders. With Haar, he left the Begnion Sacred Knights because of the corruption of the Begnion Senate 18 years before the events of Path of Radiance. He did not want to harm Laguz, but to remain on the good side of Daein, he had to organize Laguz hunts. Petrine ordered him to flood his own territory, Talrega, in order to halt the advance of the Crimean Liberation Army army under Ike."

3. Minor...Nuisance
+Wayne Knight as the voice of Oliver, Duke Tanas of Begnion
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001431/?ref_=nv_sr_1

"Oliver is a senior member of the Begnion Senate who was deeply involved in the Laguz slave trade prior to his defeat in Serenes Forest, having purchased Prince Reyson for an exorbitant fee from King Naesala of Kilvas as though he were but another art treasure for his vast collections. With his misplaced vanity, ludicrously inflated ego, and skewed loyalties, he continually throws other characters through loops, often leaving them highly confused or speechless. Oliver is a researcher and self-proclaimed protector of beauty. He has amassed an enormous collection of artistic treasures, the likes of which he appears to believe only himself capable of appreciating. Despite being old, balding and possessing an unsightly amount of weight, he is also quite vain, once commenting that Reyson struck his "beautiful" nose."
Another character I felt Knight would have a ball with. If I suggested a bit of inspiration, I'd have him take a page from Roger C. Carmel's Harry Mudd from Star Trek.

Next time: three years after the Mad King's War, all is not well in Daein, as the Begnion Occupational Army unjustly rules Daein's people behind the Apostle Sanaki's back. A resistance group called the Dawn Brigade rises up to bring the Occupational Army down and restore Daein's heir, only for them to be caught up, along with the Greil Mercenaries, in a conspiracy to engulf Tellius in war once more. All this and more in the conclusion of the Tellius saga--Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.

JaredRWebb12 - 6/22/2017, 9:05 AM
@FlixMentallo21 - Mark Hamil and Steven Blum are high on my favorites list. And I owe a good portion of Phil Lamar my childhood. And, as always, I love it when Perlman voice acts.
FlixMentallo21
FlixMentallo21 - 6/23/2017, 7:57 AM
@JaredRWebb12 - By the way, I don't think the games would be remastered for the PS4, since Fire Emblem is a Nintendo series.

FlixMentallo21 - 6/23/2017, 10:56 AM
@JaredRWebb12 - Till then, you have your choice of Shadows of Valentia for the 3DS; the mobile game Heroes; an upcoming Dynasty Warriors-style game for the Switch; and a new mainline title also for the switch, set to debut in 2018. Or if you want to play old school:
-Blazing Blade and Sacred Stones are for the Gameboy Advance and Advance SP.
-Binding Blade was only available in Japan, but there is a fan-translated emulator for computers.
-Path of Radiance was for the GameCube while its sequel Radiant Dawn was for the Wii.
-Shadow Dragon (a remake of the very first game) is for the DS; its sequel New Mystery of the Emblem (also a remake) is also for the DS.
-Awakening and Fates are both for the 3DS.

@JaredRWebb12 - And If this show happened, it Could be A Disney show because I think Disney should buy Netflix, Paramount and Sony by navigating the MonoPoly and Antitrust laws regarding Mergers and add House of Cards, Stranger Things, 13 Reasons Why, Orange Is the New Black, Marco Polo, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Mission Impossible, G.I Joe, Transformers, Terminator, Teenage Mutants Ninja Turtles, Star Trek, Ratchet And Clank, Jak and Daxter, Sly Cooper, Ghostbusters, Men In Black, Jump Street, Underworld, Resident Evil and (if Sony Manages To Extend their deal with MGM to make Bond 25 with Daniel Craig) James Bond to their long list of franchises to Develop on Movies, TV shows And Streaming service if they decide they Want to do it. Look At all the massive Mergers that already took place and the huge conglomerates that already exist. MTG-Kongregate, Verizon-Yahoo, AT&T-WB, Just to name A few, etc. This isn't Really any Different and The Lucasfilm, Marvel and Pixar Acquisitions were actually bigger Deals than acquiring Sony probably would be. I think Paramount would be the first of these hypothetical options for Disney to consider pursing, since it's A much cheaper company To get At $10 Billion. But Sony's Value is in trouble right now, And If Things don't Improve this year, It Could wind up seeing its Potential sale price drop to $25 billion or less. And If it dips below that level, Then The moment a major slide starts to pause is a time for another company to swoop in and Try To potentially buy it for a bargain price. And In the purely hypothetical scenario, Consider that A Sony price tag in the $24-or-less range means it's possible to acquire Sony And Paramount - In theory, Of Course - For Around $34 Billion. The IP They own and back Catalogues should make that a tremendously tempting Opportunity. Netflix Would probably cost Disney $70 Billion According to Todd Juenger, So That's A harder "get" but Still worthwhile, And the Total package Deal for Sony-Paramount-Netflix is just a bit north of $100 Million - Steep, But The payoff is enormous for Disney since they'd instantly have the dominant Streaming service with a massive library of content past and present to fill up that service, As Well as the Glaringly obvious best way To save ESPN.https://www.forbes.com/sites/markhughes/2017/01/07/how-a-game-changing-disney-netflix-merger-would-rescue-espn-in-2017/#d8386914ff7e

JaredRWebb12 - 6/25/2017, 1:39 PM
@brodie999 - That plan sounds great, but if Disney bought Netflix that would be a anti-trust suit waiting to happen... But if they can make it happen, I'm all for it. Sony will probably be the first to fall(their movie division is tanking outside of Spider-Man:Homecoming

brodie999 - 6/25/2017, 4:03 PM
@JaredRWebb12, @FlixMentallo21 - You tell all your friends about this and They'll be all for Disney buying more companies to further Expand their holdings, fuel as many studios as they can to produce faster and more efficiently, provide A distribution channel, Build a bigger catalogue of new properties to develop, have their own platform for sharing content with the largest possible audience as possible and find A Way to Save ESPN from a slide that Continues to be The one small drag on the company's stock and performance overall.

@JaredRWebb12, @FlixMentallo21 - Thanks for Agreeing with me, Man. I'm sure they'll make all the deals happen without Dealing with anti trust problems just like they Did with Lucasfilm and IT's gonna be a interesting proposition all around for Disney to undergo A big Transformation into a much bigger company than it is now. It's gonna take A while for the fans who Disagree with us to help us make that happen and show Disney our support. But Eventually, when the news comes out, The guys at Disney will convince them it's A great idea And reassure us that They'll convince the FCC that they have to Save ESPN and they have to get even bigger to compete with WB when the AT&-Time Warner Goes through. That's why the new trend is when mega-mergers go through, Companies go shopping for more companies. The Recent Developments For Disney could be game-Changing if They bought Sony, Paramount and Netflix. So I think they Can pull it off for a company that's Already 3 times big as its size to get even more dwarfed and wider.http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/envelope/cotown/la-et-ct-disney-dealmaking-20161024-snap-story.html

@FlixMentallo21 - Yeah, I hope we enjoy whatever you name Part 5 of this show too. Hey, Flix. You Read my ideas about Disney buying Sony, Paramount and Netflix after the AT&T-WB Merger? IF you did, What do you think of them?
FlixMentallo21
FlixMentallo21 - 6/25/2017, 5:13 PM
@brodie999 - TOTALLY against it. Disney should leave well enough alone, they're already the corporate entertainment equivalent of Ghengis Khan.

@FlixMentallo21 - Oh, Come On. Flix. It can't be that bad. The Truth is Disney lacked the Creative Spirit they once had and they still lack it now. That's Why they bought Marvel, Lucasfilm and Pixar. IF they make it happen again by finding their way through the anti-Trust And Monopoly laws just like they did with Lucasfilm, They'll be the corporate Entertainment Equivalent Of The Nazi empire. It'll be so awesome!!! Once You hear the updates, You'll get used to it. I'm sure about that.

@FlixMentallo21 - Yeah, I did. I'm sorry you didn't like it. But you can keep working on part 5 of the Fire Emblem show and I'll comment on how the finale wraps up everything. Then we'll do what we're meant to do on the EMH Season 3 page and then i'll tell Dom about your new castings, How's that sound?

@JaredRWebb12 - Hey, Jared. I've just made hashtags to persuade Disney to buy Netflix, Paramount, and Sony. They're awesome, but it needs to reach everybody so they can show support for a bigger Disney. Heck, we could even create petitions too so the noise can be loud enough for Disney to hear us and give us what we want. https://twitter.com/BrodieMarschall/status/907481039924113409

Nice work man!

Egerton seems like a great choice for Ike, the main protagonist of this season.

Brandon Routh is also a fitting choice for Geoffrey.

Also a fan of Cary Elwes as Bastion, somewhat similar to his characters aesthetic from The Princess Bride is the vibeI'm getting, although substantially older.

Can't go wrong with LaMarr either, the guy has done some fantastic voice work over the years.

Perlman and Stamp are also standout choices.
