Hugh Jackman's replacement... My opinion.

I have been a member of CBM for a few years now and this is my first addition to the site.

After reading about Hugh Jackman's hesitation about returning to do a solo Wolverine movie i would like to give my thoughts on who should replace him.

Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad in my opinion would make an excellent Wolverine for a good 12-13 years. He is an amazing actor with plenty awards and acknowledgements. He is a better height for Wolverine than Hugh was and he can certainly show emotion when he needs to. Given some time to grow his hair out and get in better shape, i think he would blow us all away. While i watched Breaking Bad i always thought he would make and excellent Logan if given the chance. There are other actors out there that would be good as well, but my choice would be Aaron Paul.

I know some of you are going to tear this apart, and that is totally fine, others might love the idea just as much as i do.

He's a great actor, but he just seems too wimpy for the role. What do you think of Manu Bennet?

Hmmm.......no. Wouldn't work, I can only see Paul being typecast from now on, playing a criminal, or drug addict. Unfortunately that's what happens to actors who have played the same role for such a long time, they come to represent that character so much.

Hugh Jackman or gtfo.
Really though, when Hugh stops playing Wolverine, they should just put the character away for awhile.

Bennet would be interesting as Logan, but for gods sake FOX give him something close to his comic suit, not more black unless its his X-Force costume

Wow, thank you all, all 12 of you to answer. Shocked someone didn't like my choice, I stand by it. Hugh and Aaron have similar faces when you look at the two of them and many of the disagreements wetted probably said about Hugh 13 years ago when Xmen cane out.

Most logical choice would be Jake Gyllenhaal

If they change Wolverine, THEN A WHOLE X-MEN AND WOLVERINE NEEDS REBOOTED !!!
