Alright This is my Bludhaven Fan Cast V3. This includes how I think the first season should start off if at all possible to start this show. Also yes this show will actually take a while before he goes off to Bludhaven and even possibly take a while before he dawns the Nightwing Costume. I would like to have a complete origin without any side questions having to be asked.
The youngest in a family of acrobats known as the "Flying Graysons," Dick watches a mafia boss kill his parents in order to extort money from the circus that employed them. Bruce Wayne, secretly the superhero Batman, takes him in as his legal ward, and eventually as his sidekick, Robin.
About 7 years later, after Robin joined the Teen Titans, Robin was needed on a mission with Batman involving Clayface. Robin arrived late because he was on a mission with the Titans, causing Batman to fire Dick Grayson as Robin. Dick Grayson travels to Metropolis to ask Clark Kent/Superman for advice. Clark tells him that Bruce cant fire him, it’s not a job, and that he should do what he thinks is right. Grayson travels to the Circus wondering if he should just forget his life as a crime fighter. He couldn’t forget his past and the good he had done, so he returns to Gotham City under the new alias Nightwing.
After Sometime Dick decides to move to Gotham’s Sister City Bludhaven, and joins the police academy.
I would like this show to stay very close to the comics (but also be in the same universe as Smallville) (basically having the same actors for the characters) having memorable scenes like
Also the scene in Robin: Year One where Two Face nearly beats Robin to death. (which I couldn’t find on the internet)
Which as the show goes on would show Dick’s History with Two-face.
I think that this show could be as good, if not better than Smallville. Dick Grayson is a character that has had very little live action screen time (And it didn’t really do him much justice in the 60’s “Batman”, “Batman Forever”, and “Batman and Robin”) But we have never seen a live action version of Nightwing, A lot of us have wanted a movie for some time now. Personally I think a show would do the character justice and not just have him be Batman’s first sidekick “The Boy Blunder” (words of the Joker)
