Well, I haven't done a casting in quite some time. Mainly been too busy. Been keeping up with everyone else though. A lot of good ideas floating around out there. Anyways, I haven't really sat down to try to do a group cast in a long time but, I always have ideas floating around in my head for who should play who and what not...so I figured I'd just put 'em all down and save my brain some trouble....
Lets begin...
yes lets...
we've begun....
1. TMNT.
Now, contradicting what I said above This is in fact a group casting. But, I'm not casting any side characters, not giving much background on the characters, or actors. So, therefore it's totally not worthy of it's own article.
Now for the cast.
The kids a solid actor. He did great in 310 to Yuma, playing the brave son, trying to learn from his father. He did awesome as the naive spoiled teenager in Gamer, and my personal favorite, playing Percy Jackson in the lightning thief, where he showed he could play a leader, and a quick thinker very well. Now, mind you this would most likely just be a voice over, but ya never know.
A little older than the character he would be playing, but that's alright. He still sounds and looks like a teenager. He's played the smart guy numerous times. He was great in Zombieland, and Adventureland. I didn't see the Social Network, but I hear he did good in that too. I have no doubts about him owning this role.
Thomas Dekker. What can I say about this kid. Well, I never watched Salvation. I've honestly only ever seen him in a Nightmare on Elm St. Where he played a pissed off, hot tempered teenager. Sounds pretty good to me...
This guy. I love this guy in everything. He doesn't always have the biggest role. But, i still tend to think he rocks. His part in disturbia is would sold him for this part. He's real good at being dumb, and getting serious real fast, and I think that's whats needed for this part.
Ok. Now, on to some more..
The Shadow. One of my all time favorites. I loved the original movie, I don't think Alec Baldwin did a terrible job or anything like that. I just think it's time for the world to get a new, upgraded story of the Shadow. Who better than Adrian Brody....noone. Well, maybe Liam Neeson but he's too old for the part now.
I'm not going to give too much explanation for this. All I can really say is that I've loved Gibson for this part for like ten years. If your familiar with him, you might totally disagree. But, hey...that's your opinion.
Yeah, another team. The only reason I'm casting them as a team is because I really just wanted to cast Namor and Torch, and I figured why not just throw Cap in there and have an awesome Invaders picture up top...
Loved the movie. Loved him in it. All I really gotta say.
Never seen this guy act, as far as I know. But a lot of people, who's opinions I value, seem to have faith in him. So, I'll give him a shot. I mean, anyone can play an android right.
What can I say? He was an awesome villain in Heroes. He was an awesome Spock, I personally think the two mixed together with a little social issues added...would make a hell of a good Namor.
Moving on...
He's a great actor. He rocked in Heroes. He was weird in Gamer. He was good in that mortuary movie that I can't remember the name of... He rocks, and he looks just like the character...
This was someone else's pick that I just happened to really like, give yourself credit below, because I don't remember who you are...
He proved he could own this role while starring in movies such as Bulletproof Monk and Southland Tales.
Don't hate the guy, just because you don't like some movies he's been in. I'm just saying.. I think he's a decent actor, he's got the right build, the right hair, and I think he could do this role justice.
If you guys haven't read this comic, you should. I think it's one of the best new comics out there right now. I've only seen Jason Lewis in a few things. I don't know if he could pull this role off, honestly. But, I'd be willing to give him a try...
I didn't think the first movie was very good, the style was neat, the story was decent. But, I don't think either one really fit well with the Spirit, if any of you have ever read it, you probably agree. Levitt is one of my favorite actors, and I think with his, reasonably different style of acting that he could make this role memorable.
If your an avid follower of a Criminal Minds, than you might know why I chose him for the role. He's very good at playing someone who is incredibly smart, but could very easily be off his rocker...
Let's face it. There's not many roles out there Luke Goss wouldn't own. His almost Shakespearean style of acting, mixed with his awesome martial arts skill, and extremely good build, make him awesome for a lot of roles. This is just one of many I would love to see him in.
Only seen this guy in two movies. Brotherhood and the Last Rites of Ransom Pride. Watching the two characters in those two movies have me convinced he could make the Lone Ranger feel and look very real.
I've always had a weakness for this chick. She's been great in everything I've seen her in. Which, aside from True Blood, is everything she's been in. I think she could play both characters necessary for a Batwoman movie. If you haven't read the new Batwoman, it's pretty good and you should check it out.
Billy Zane played the Phantom in the first movie. I just rewatched it a while back, and I think it aged terribly, but was still pretty good for when it came out. Ben Barnes is a solid actor, and I think he could take over the role Billy left behind, very well.
"
Yelchin is an awesome, awesome actor. He's played every single role he's done to the T of perfection, and he has had an extreme variety of roles. Nightcrawler, is a role I think he could play extremely role, and hold onto for a very long time.
