The story is of a Knight in the service of the church in the medival days who falls in love with a young girl of the city, but one that the bishop of that parish was equally obsessed with, but in a bad way. He was formaly in the dark arts, and when he learns of their plans to marry, he puts a curse on them so that they can never be together. Turning the man into a giant wolf by night, and during the day, the young maiden is a hawk. Forever to walk the earth, apart, but together. We find out about their story through a young boy who's a thief and street rat on the run from the law who stumbles upon the Knight Nevar (The wolfman by night) and his seemingly pet hawke(the woman) and he's rescued by them, souly to get under the skin of the city guard under the service of the bishop. He learns of their secret and joins them in trying to discover how to undo the curse, looking for a Monk who may hold the secret. Its to repay them for rescuing him(He's played by Matthew Brodrick who was probobly 15 at the time).
Anyway its a good movie and it would be killer good if done with today's CGI, and a good director. So heres my cast.

The wicked Bishop is to be played by Jonathan Pryce
After seeing Brothers Grimmm, I know he could be stellar as pervy warloche bishop hypocrite guy.
For the young theif who helps Nevarre and Isabuea, I choose Skander Keynes
Marton Csokas as the Bishops' captain of the Citidel Guard and rival of Nevarre.
For the Monk who helps them break the curse and former friend of the bishop, I choose Michael Gambon of the Harry Potter serise.
And Vinnie Jones as the bounty hunter/poacher paid by the bishop to kill Nevarre, Cezar
