Hey folks!
In 2013, Marvel gained the rights to The Punisher! Prior to this, there were 2 films released from Lionsgate, which were critically and commercially unsuccessful, and a 1989 film starring Dolph Lundgren which I won't waste the energy in my fingers typing about.
Aaaanyway, I've chosen an actor who I think would portray the Punisher nicely as a team player within the epic MCU. That man is...
JEFF WOLFE!
Well, this man is 6ft 2" of high-kicking Martial Arts bad-assery, with 20 years experience under his belt. He's a seasoned actor, who has appeared in Drive (2011), where he got his face stomped in by Ryan Gosling in "that elevator scene". He was also Bob Banks in Green Lantern, and also had a tiny little role in Avengers Assemble (his charachter was credited as 'Tall Thug').
Furthermore, he's a tough guy! By that, I mean he's a professional stunt actor who actually was a stunt double in Punisher: War Zone. He was also a stunt performer in Daredevil and worked on the stunts for Captain America: The First Avenger. So yeah... LOTS of experience with Marvel slapped on his resume already!
Lastly, just look at him! He fit's Frank Castle's profile perfectly.
