Pitch for Avengers: Infinity War Part 1

Pitch for Avengers: Infinity War Part 1

Here i give you my version for the conclusion of the MCU's Phase 3. I have provided lots of images and some music so it can be more entertaining to read (as it's kinda long). I posted this just to hear other people's thoughts, so please let me know what you think.

As you all know, the MCU is a shared connected universe, and most of the time, every movie builds up to the next one/s. Infinity War will be what it's all been leading up to, so DON'T SKIP THIS PART IF YOU WANT TO UNDERSTAND THE REST. Thank you, and enjoy.

Dr. Strange (2016)

The cosmic entities (Eternity, Death, Infinity, Kronos, Entropy, Eon, etc) are introduced in some form or another, especially Eternity. Nick Fury shows up at the end credits scene:
 - “Good evening Doc.”
 - “Who...?”
 - “Sorry to show up without an appointment, but it’s kind of an urgence... (Turns) My name is Nick Fury, and i need your help Stephen. All of us need your help.”
 - “I know very well who you are, actually. I don’t know what you’ve been up to, or how you’ve found me, but i won’t join any kind of...”
 - “Oh, this is not about the Avengers. Those are a lost cause now, and nowadays i have as much power over them as [enter comparison].
 - “So what are you here for?”
 - “There are way bigger forces at play here... Doctor Strange. The universe is in great peril... and we are going to save it.”
CUT TO BLACK

GotG Vol.2 (2017)
It would slighly set up Infinity War with one scene with Nebula, who will talk about how she’s been looking for Thanos to kill him, and that the word is out: He’s on an investigation himself concerning the location of the gems (since the A:AOU e-c-s). There’s also mentions of a Messiah who’ll stop Thanos. Someone called Warlock. He shows up in the end credit scene with the soul gem on his forehead and meeting Grandmaster. Also, the Time Gem will totally appear in this film.

Spiderman: Homecoming (2017):
Iron Man is established as Peter’s icon, role model, idol, mentor. Peter would never do something Tony didn’t want him to do...yet

Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
We pick up where A:AOU left off: Thor has had a vision and he knows that a dark force wants to gather all the infinity gems. He travels through space and he finds Grandmaster who tells him about Warlock the messiah and Thanos, who by this point has already ended his investigation and knows where each gem is. This serves as a plot device so that Thor can find Hulk is space and then the movie can focus on Hela, Loki, Asgard, Valkyrie, etc.
Much later it is revealed to Thor (and to the audience) that Loki is still working for Thanos (connection between both plots). In the end Odin dies and Loki escapes. Loki just wanted to be loved and he has found a loving family in Thanos.
Asgard is in ruins, it has died but now it’s time for it’s rebirth: Thor is the new king! Hulk (who now knows about the stones and Thanos) goes back to earth and in the mid-credit scene we see Thanos talking to a Woman in a temple. She doesn’t talk back altough she has two interpreters. When Thanos is about to get back on his ship (Sanctuary), he sees Loki standing: “Asgard is right for the taking, and so is the Tesseract”. In the post-credit scene, Grandmaster receives a package: The Time Gem.

Black Panther (2018)
Everett K. Ross plays a big part and becomes an ally of T’Challa. There’s a big attack on Wakanda in the final battle and it’s left weakened. Ulysses Klaw survives the film.
End credit scene: We see Dr.Selvig drinking some hot cofee walking through a corridor. He arrives to a room full of computer screens and none other than Nick Fury is looking at them.
 - “Any luck?”
 - “Ooohh yes. In fact I’m afraid we just hit the grand prize.”
It’s revealed that Black Widow has been working for Fury since Civil war... and she just found Banner location.

AND NOW TO THE MAIN EVENT!!!!

Infinity War Pt.1 (2018) Lenght: 2h35min
Themes: Forgiving, leaving differneces behind, unity against bigger threats.

First act (introduction):
We open with Sactuary arriving to Knowhere, where the Collector has become kind of a Dictator. He realises the coming of Thanos: “So the day has finally come, huh?” We see the most badass f*cking scene of Thanos just absolutely destroying the Collector’s forces on his own without any kind of effort. He then faces the Collector, grabs him by the neck as he smiles and makes a comment regarding how he he has competition on this specific collection. He finishes him and steals the reality gem.
 - Loki, ready to revisit earth?
This scene would present the villain and his goal and give the impression that the heroes have no chance.

AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR (The title would be introduced with flashes from the previous Phase 3 movies in chronological order)

We cut to the UN base where Zemo is prisoner. Some men from his Sokovian squad have come to recue him. Suddenly Tony’s avengers arrive: Iron Man, Spiderman, Vision, Black Panther and a legion of War Machines mind controled (IM3 style) by cripled Rhodes. Black Widow has dissapeared since Civil War (and we know she's working with Fury). It’s going great, all of Zemo’s men are K.O. and it’s T’Challa vs Zemo, who has Everett as a hostage. Zemo kills him and escapes in a helicopter. Black Panther holds the dead body of Everett. Tony tells T’Challa to chase Zemo but he won’t listen. Tony decides to chase Zemo himself but suddenly all of Zemo’s men explode (they had bombs attached) and so they all have to assist the ingured.

We cut to Avengers facilities where Tony is shouting at T’Challa. After T’Challa leaves outraged, Tony then takes it on Peter.
 - “Wait, Peter, i’m sorry. I didn’t mean to...”
Rhodes shows up:
 - “You need to communicate more with your team. Steve knew how to do that”.
Tony then looks at the TV and sees that the “Secret Avengers” have saved an African village from an evil dictator. We cut to them and it’s Wanda, Steve, Clint and Sam. Ant-Man is busy with no more information than that. They are secretly living in Wakanda and only Black Panther and a select number of people know. Steve has a new energy shield made by T’Challa.

Tony and Vision talk in avengers mansion:
 - “I used to feel unfocused because i felt distracted by the presence of something that i haven’t really figured out yet. Now i feel unfocused because i feel the lack of something. It’s confusing and i don’t understand what’s happening to me.”
Later, Vision and Wanda feel a connection to eachother as they are both linked by mind stone. So now Vision knows where she is, but decides not to tell Tony and secretly infiltrates Wakanda to see her. He doesn’t know why he wants to, but he does.

Scenes that go back and forth:
1. Guardians subplot:
Gamora and Drax are behind Nebula, who is behind Adam Warlock, who is in a temple, looking down at an abyss. They interrupt Nebula’s operation to get to Adam and she gets mad. The temple collapses. Drax and Gamora are left wondering who was that strange man.

2. Thanos character development:
Thanos and Loki are in Sanctuary on their way to earth. Loki basicly only serves as a character than he can talk to, but there’s also a flashback to the ending of Thor (2011): After his encounter with Odin and Thor, Loki falls to the emptiness but Thanos recruits him.
Back to the present Thanos talks to Loki:
1 - His younger years (via flashbacks): Thanos was an outcast in his world because he was deformed and his father loved his douche brother more. But Thanos was extremely intelligent. He connects with Loki thanks to this similar backstory.
2 - Obsession with the concept of death: It seemed so interesting to him. He started to kill suicidal people and then just people in general. He then kills his mom with his bare hands.
3 - He gets big: He gets outcast to the end frontier of the universe and starts to overthrow empires absolutely on his own. We learn how he started to gather lots of allies and servants: The Chitauri, Ronan, etc.
4 - Personality: He was respected in the galaxy, but most of all feared, as he was powerful but mad. I really want him to have a big presence but to also be nuts (Kingpin style but with more maniac laughs and smiles).
5 – He’s in love: In one of these scenes Loki asks him about the woman he saw talking to. Thanos explains she is the emobyment of death itself and that he is in love with her. She’s the Grimm Reaper. He says that he is doing all of this for her but he doesn’t explain what he’ll do with the stones once he gets them all (yet). He also mentions that there are other cosmic entities. Then Loki and Thanos stop on another temple of Death, where Thanos sees her again (accompanied by her interpreters).

3. Avengers dramas and interactions:
 · Steve and Sharon secretly see eachother from time to time, like Vision and Wanda who start to fall in love.
 · Thor wants the Tesseract as far away from Asgard as possible, as he is very busy rebuilding Asgard and doesn’t want Thanos to come.
 · A shadowy figure (Dr. Strange) visits Grandmaster in space, who tells him that Thanos is coming to earth AS THEY SPEAK. The shadowy figure (Strange) asks about Asgard, and Grandmaster tells him that their new king (Thor) wants to give away the Tesseract.
 · Banner is on earth staying in the shadows, trying to find out what’s happened, when he is found by Black Widow, also in the shadows. They remember their little romance but focus on updating eachother. We see Banner’s heartbreaking reaction to the Civil War and then when he’s about to update Widow on the infinty stones (he learned a lot about them in Ragnarok), she goes: “Oh, there’s somebody else who’s already told me about that.”

Second act (Body):
Baron Zemo leaks information to the world that T’Challa is hiding not only the Avengers, but none other than the winter soldier. Wakanda is left divided and Ross forces Iron Man’s Avengers do a surprise attack on Wakanda to arrest Black Panther, Bucky and the Secret Avengers. The Secret Avengers know about the attack, so they stay to defend Black Panther. Meanwhile, Drax and Gamora go to the Grandmaster, who vaguely tells them the role that Warlock plays in this game. He tells them he’s met him and he knows where he is. He’s also heard that Thanos is coming to earth.

The Avengers including the War Machine Legion attack Wakanda (non-lethaly) but Vision and Wanda refuse to fight and kiss for the first time. There’s a huge battle. Spiderman doesn’t want to fight anybody but he is forced. Then, the Secret Avengers (including a one-armed Winter Soldier) and Black Panther line up and they are about to go against Tony, Spiderman and War Machine legion. Airport scene style.

When they’re about to collide there’s a sudden flashlight. It’s f*cking Doctor Strange with Nick Fury and Dr. Selvig.
 - I leave you kids home alone for 5 minutes and you make this mess.
Vision and Wanda decide to show up (holding hands). Doctor Strange and Nick tell the Avengers about the incoming threat but they decide to better show them, as Doctor Strange projects some imagery (flashbacks) with his Eye of Agamoto:
1. We see Nick after the battle of New York studying Loki’s scepter and comparing its energies with the Tesseract’s. They had so many things in common so he came to the conclusion that Loki came to earth opening the Tesseract’s portal with the Scepter.

2. After Malekith’s attack he wanted to know more about the Aether (which produced similar energies to the other two artifacts) so he interviews crazy Selvig, affected by Loki’s mindcontrol. Selvig mumbled that those three were part of a group of six called the Infinity Stones and that they were relevent in the entire universe.
3. We jump to the end of Age of Ultron and Thor talks to Fury:
 - “Selvig wasn’t crazy. And now the entire universe is in danger, Fury.”
He then procedes to tell him about his vision of the infinity stones and the dark force that wants to gather them all. We get some info from Thor in this flashback: There are six of them (Time, Space, Mind...), they are infinite source of energy and the peek of their power is still unknown. They are extremely dangerous in the wrong hands.
4. Nick reunites back with Selvig and they start to secretly investigate, but they decide to get the help of Doc Strange, that can get them to more knowledge. Those three travel through dimensions gathering information about what’s coming and learn that the gems are known throughout the entire universe and that the dark force that Thor talked about was Thanos, who was responsible for Loki, the Chitauri, Ronan, etc.

We cut back to present day:
 - I have been informed that, as we speak, Thanos is currently coming to earth to get THAT – Doctor Strange points at Vision’s forehead. – We still aren’t sure of what happens when an individual gathers all of the infinty stones, but nothing good will come out of it, and least of all, if it’s Thanos the one who does it.
Tony and Steve look at eachother. Steve eyes said it all: We need to unite again. Tony was about to speak but suddenly Ross takes control of the War Machine legion and begins to arrest the Secret Avengers including Black Panther. Strange, Fury and Selvig teleport out of there and Wanda and Vision bail. Meanwhile, Drax and Gamora finally find and recruit Warlock so she reports this to some one via comm. She also says they need to go to earth PRONTO, because Thanos is gonna be there.

We cut back to Fury and co.:
 - “Ok. Time for our Plan B. Doc, you go get the big guy, i’ll go get the bigger one”. When Strange and Selvig teleport, Nick calls Black Widow.
Meanwhile, the secret avengers are prisoners at Avengers facilities and Tony meditates. Ross to Sam: “Where is the Ant-Man?!”
Somewhere else, Vision is floating in the sky, holding Wanda. They are talking about love and stuff. Then, Vision looks up, does a super zoom-in and sees Sanctuary arriving to earth’s atmosphere.
Stephen and Selvig go to Asgard to recruit Thor.
 - “You must keep the Tesseract, my king, our hands are the safest. Thanos is coming to earth now and the only way we can stop him is with other gems.” – Doctor Strange.
Selvig (fascinated at being in Asgard) convinces Thor to keep the Tesseract and go with them.
We cut to Nebula, who’s looking for information in Grandmaster. He tells her that Gamora and Drax have found Adam Warlock. She’s outraged. She decides to stay in his palace and finds out that the  Time Gem is there.
Meanwhile, Widow and Banner meet Nick and he tells them that Thanos is coming NOW, and that they have Thor and Doctor Strange on their side aswell. Then Widow goes:
 - What about the avengers?
 - Oh those are a lost cause now. I’m not counting on them for this.
So then Black Widow gives a motivational monologue about how the world needs the Avengers.

Meanwhile, Vision and Wanda decide to go to Avengers facilities. They confirm that Sanctuary is indeed arriving to earth, and that they should all unite back. Because Ross won’t cooperate, they both liberate by their own hand every Avenger who’s prisoner. Spiderman sides with Steve and refuses to go with Tony (big step for Peter’s character). They all go outside where Sanctuary is landing. Iron Man appears aswell wanting eveyone to chill. But Thanos gets out the ship with steam coming out and he and the avengers meet face to face for the first time. After Thanos’ evil speech, Vision is the first to shoot an energy blast from his gem. Thanos stops it with the infinity gauntlet and shoots laser beams from his eyes which send the Vision several tens of metres away (their most powerful member just got owned). Thanos then hacks into Vision’s matrix and liberates what’s left of Ultron’s conscience!

Vision’s eyes go red, he draws a smile on his face and his voice changes:
 - “At last! Free! Oh, i love reunions.”
After one minute the Avengers are getting owned and Thanos is enjoying it. Then, the frighteting Vision-Ultron approaches Wanda.
 - “Please! I’m trying to fight it! Wanda, kill me now! You’re the only one who can do it Wanda!”
Steve looks at her. Suddenly Wanda charges all of her power and fires it at Vision. His body is half destroyed and Wanda, on her knees, begins to cry. She just killed Vision. The avengers are already exhausted after two minutes. Thanos, with a smile on his face, rips apart Vision’s head and takes the infinity gem, which he puts on the gauntlet.
 - “Thank you, love. Here you go.”
Thanos gives Vision’s head to Wanda (in terror/shock) and he procedes to get back inside Sanctuary. Then he receives a hit from Cap’s shield on the back of his head. He turns with a smile on his face and then they all start fighting. The mad titan is totally owning them. He breaks cap’s new energy shield, rips apart Falcon’s wings and destroys Tony’s armour. He tracks down the War Machine legion’s signal and finds cripled Rhody. He grabs him by the neck and says:
 - “Not so mighty now, are you?”
Thanos ends his life.

When all is about to go to sh*t there’s a sudden big flashlight. It’s Nick, Selvig, Strange, Thor (with the tesseract), Hulk and Black Widow. In the middle of the epic fight, Iron Man beats it. He crawls through the corridors desperately looking for something. Back to the fight, Wanda loses her mind and releases HER FULL POWER on Thanos. So does Strange and Thor (using the Tesseract). Iron Man suddenly arrives and he’s holding... Cap’s shield! Tony gives it to Steve and he delivers the final blow with it. Thanos decides to withdraw and gets on Sanctuary. Thor sees his brother Loki inside.
 - “You fools... The Tesseract will be mine.” – screams Thanos with a smile on his face.
Avengers facilities is destroyed.

The Avengers are back together but it’s still kind of akward between them. Anyways, Ross comes out  screaming with a cigar in his mouth and he has a little reuniting scene with Hulk. Hulk’s like: “arrest me now, b*tch”. Nick Fury kcnoks out Gen. Ross with an uppercut.
 - You partypooper Nick Fury-wanna-be. – Fury says.
Nick is actually ingured so he won’t be able to fight anymore.
 - “Thanos wants the Tesseract and he’s coming for a Round 2. The battle is inminent, and from what we’ve seen the Titan doesn’t need any recovering. So we need to prepare the fight, and take it somewhere else. Somewhere we have the upper ground.”
They decide they should go to Asgard, where they can keep the Tesseract safe behind Thor’s army.

Third Act (Ending):
They go to Vision’s and Rhodes funerals, where Pepper and Tony find eachother again. Black Panther gives Bucky a left arm made of vibranium and vibranium wings to Falcon. Steve says goodbye to Sharon and so does Clint to his family and Peter to his aunt.
 - “I’m going to party out with Harry and then i’ll crash at his house”.
 - “Ok, baby... Becoming kind of a Night Owl lately.”
Then the team goes to Asgard: Doctor Strange, Thor (obviously with the helmet), Cap, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye (with a mask), Falcon, Winter Soldier, Spiderman, Wanda and Black Panther. Selvig goes with them aswell because he knows how to use the Tesseract as a weapon. He’s built a cannon that channels its energies. Thor tells the rest of the avengers that Loki is with Thanos.

Sanctuary teleports to Asgard, Thanos prays to Death and then he gets out. He is confronted with Asgard’s army, but the only thing he does is lift the gauntlet and use the mind stone. Suddenly, all of the soldiers get mind controled and turn on Thor and the Avengers, who are protected from the mind control thanks to Wanda’s counter powers (she stopped Dr.Cho’s scepter mind control in A:AOU).

There’s a huge final battle and we get some very special moments like Iron Man saving Winter Soldier’s life. But also some other very tragic moments, like mindcontrolled Sif/Heimdall/Warrior Three murdering Selvig. Thor begins to sob and he’s forced to kill him/her/them. Thanos bursts in laughter at the situation. Thor then takes the Tesseract out of Selvig’s cannon and keeps it to himself using it in battle. Thor and the Avengers are being forced to fight the asgardians. This is the true end of Asgard. Loki is watching, wanting to like it, but he’s kind of in shock. He’s paralized, witnessing all of this death.

Thanos arrives at the castle where all of the avengers have regrouped.
 - We shall have words with thee... Monster. – Thor.
And just when an epic second battle against Thanos is about to begin, Cap shouts the words:
 - Avengers Assemble!!!!
There’s an epic fight against the Titan, and then, the captain shouts the orders:
 - “All of you! (Panther, Sam, Clint, Widow and Bucky) Hold asgard’s forces!”
They all begin to fight the soldiers that wanted to get inside the castle.
 - “Wanda, counter the mind stone's powers! Thor, shoot at the reality stone with the Tesseract. Now!”
They do it, basicly deactivating both gems.
 - “Hulk, Spidey, don’t let the bastard move!”
Hulk and Spiderman hold him, Spidey using his webs.
 - “Iron Man, Doc, fire!”.
They both use their best attacks.

Thor was trying to use all of the Tesseract’s power, and because of the effort, he drops his hammer. Thanos shoots laser beams from his eyes and Cap stops them with his shield.
 - It’s not enough, Steve! – Tony.
Steve then sees it laying on the floor: Mjolnir. With his shield still up, he bends and grabs the handle. He closes his eyes and gets up. Boom. He’s f*cking holding Thor’s hammer. It’s epic. Thor cracks a joke saying: “Well apparently everyone is worthy lately” (a nod to Vision).
Cap begins to light Thanos the f*ck up.

Then a still shocked Loki suddenly arrives and Thanos is looking at him like: “Do something!”
Loki nails a spear into Hulk’s knee from behind and he falls. Loki then throws another spear at spidey’s webs and cuts them. Thanos is freed and beats the living sh*t out of the Avengers except for cap. Cap is fighting him using both his shield and Mjolnir. Thanos is getting kind of ridiculed and it draws a smile on the audience faces. The Tesseract is on the floor, and Loki grabs it. A severly injured Thor talks to his brother:
 - “Loki! Is this what you want? Is this what you really want? He doesn’t care about you! He only cares about his goal! You are just a mere lackey of his... I thought you were the god of mischief...”
Loki is full of confusion.
 - “Loki, I’ve always loved you. And it’s a shame you can’t see that. But i’m afraid now it’s too late.”

Thanos grabs the Teseract from Loki’s hands, gets the gem out of the carcass and puts it on the gauntlet. Then he hands cap’s ass to him and corners all of the avengers.  He’s about to finish everyone but suddenly Loki casts some secret spell and the castle collapses. Hulk is holding all the wreckage (with a spear in his knee) so it doesn’t crush everybody.

Thanos escapes with Loki but he is very, VERY angry. Thanos goes back to Sanctuary. He screams to asgard’s army:
 - All of you! DIE!
He uses the mind stone and turns off their brains. They all die. Now in the ship, Thanos grabs Loki by his neck:
 - Who do you think you are, you little insignificant ant? Do you think i need your rescue? Do you think i’m that desperate to need your aid? You insult me, pig! I should take your life!
 - Please... Mercy...
 - You are only my pet. Do you understand?
 - Yes.
Thanos drops Loki on the floor like nothing and they go. Loki is now a double agent.

The avengers get out and witness Asgard completely destroyed. Thor falls on his knees and screams. We cut to Avengers mansion two days later. They are all united including Pepper, Sharon and Nick. Thor is in depression, as he has failed at being Asgard’s king. We can feel his pain and shame. Everyone is sad. But then Steve starts to spill one of his speaches with something along the lines of:
 - “We may have lost this battle, but not the war. War can only be won by armies, and at last, our army is back together again.”
Tony holds Pepper as they listen to Steve.
 - “Today is the starting point of the story we’ll tell when we’re asked about that time we defeated the mad titan.”
Everyone suddenly starts to get less sad once they realise what they’ve acomplished. The audience is hyped. The Avengers are back together!

Suddenly there’s a light outside, and a spaceship kind of sound.
 - No way...
 - It’s Thanos!
They all go outside and witness a small ship landing on the grass. It’s not Sanctuary. There’s a shot of all of them with their hair on the wind, and blinded by the ship’s light, looking at it. Then, the door slowly goes down and some figures start to get out. We can’t see them because of the steam. We see two red dots that shine in the steam, as it starts to fade away. The two spots dissapear and we see a face. Boom. It’s the freaking Guardians of the Galaxy with Adam Warlock. Nobody says a word and the camera starts to spin around the two teams, and just when you think that they are going to pull a Luke Skywalker on us, Rocket breaks the ice with a joke:
 - I’m gonna need that guy’s arm.

DIRECTED BY JOE AND ANTHONY RUSSO

Credits roll.

 - Mid Credit Scene:
We see Ross smoking a cigar in a bar, watching WHIH news:
“After the alien attack in Avengers facilities, Tony Stark has announced in today’s press conference a temporary permission for the unregistered vigilantes to participate in...
Ross is disgusted. Then a shadowy figure aproaches and starts to talk to him about power.
 - “We’ve met before, Ross. My name is Helmut Zemo... And i come to you to offer you power.”
CUT TO BLACK.

 - Post Credit Scene:
We get a short flashback of Gamora and Drax introducing Warlock to Star-Lord for the first time. Adam Warlock says something Messiah-ish.
MARVEL STUDIOS LOGO

Note: Maria Hill could appear in Avengers facilities’ scenes, just to not ignore her, but it's not necessary.

If you’ve read through the entire thing i apreciate it, but i would appreciate it more if you shared your opinions with me in the comment section. I purposely posted my pitch to hear you opinions. So how would you like to see this movie? Infinity War Part 2 coming soon!!!!

Wow you put a lot of effort into this, great job! I like the idea of the Avengers going to Asgard to fight a battle that could be really cool. I also like that Nick Fury has been working behind the scenes since we saw him in Winter Soldier.

I think it's a given that Cap will lift Thor's hammer in one of the IW films, but I hope that they make it a cool moment that's justified and completely epic. 'm guessing you're a big Cap fan from reading this and I can't wait to see the inevitable "Avengers Assemble!". But i'm also really hoping for Thor to get some truly epic moments. I'll be a happy man if we finally get a "FOR MIDGARD!!!".

@TheManWithoutFear - I'm so happy that you enjoyed reading it. Yeah, i've always wanted to see the Avengers in Asgard.

About Nick Fury, yeah, i've always liked that element of his character; the fact that he's always doing something, working behind the shadows. Honestly, if they don't do something like that with his character in IW, i will be a little bit dissapointed because i'm a very big Nick Fury fan.

I'm currently working in Part 2 and it's basicly going to be a conclusion of the entire MCU. First half is going to be A LOT of build up and then the other half is going to be fight fight fight. And everyone meeting eachother (Netflix...)

Man! This was awesome!! You definetely put a lot of time and passion into this.

However, I do have some criticism:

While I liked the fact that you didn't throw the Avengers immediately into space bringing them into Asgard and destroying it again, made the final act feel like repeat of Thor 3. What I would do is maybe change the setting to Earth.

Also, a another change I would make is rather than the Avengers be arrested again, have them go with Fury but have the distrust between both teams be front and center.

But, despite those issues, I thought the story was entertaining and great and I can't wait for Part 2.

@TheHero - I'm so glad that you liked reading it!

Yeah, i also hought that the final battle in Asgard would be a problem because it would be too much like Thor 3. And basicly in my version, the true Ragnarok happens in Infinity War, so yeah, that's a problem. The thing is, i really like the image of the Avengers fighting in Asgard.

About that Nick Fury thing, i really didn't thought of that! It's a very nice idea! I really like having this kind of discussion.

So thank you for reading and i'll see you on Part 2. ;)

@BaronZemo - the only thing that could make avengers fighting in asgard better is if they get magical weapons like in fear itself. i would love to see haweye with some super cool asgardian laser bow

I loved this!!! The most interesting article I've read in a while! I really hope the movie becomes something like what you described! When are you going to release part 2??? I really want it now!
And are you going to include other characters like Ant-man, the wasp, captain Marvel, the Netflix heroes???
Plus, could you do something like this for the Spider-man Homecoming, Captain Marvel and Ant-man and the Wasp???
BaronZemo
BaronZemo - 7/5/2016, 11:23 AM
@Nelemico2000 - Wow, hahaha it feels so great that you enjoyed it THAT much. I'm not exactly sure when i'll finish it, but i'm working on it. And of course i'm gonna introduce everyone in Part 2.

But you gotta have something in mind tho, Part 2 is gonna be overcrowded as F. So it's ultimately just gonna be THE BIG CROSSOVER while also giving a conclusion to the three Phases. It's gonna be dificult to do character development although I'm trying to work on it a little bit. I think Part 1 really handles story, characters and set up really well while also being divided into three defined paragraphs, but Part 2 is gonna be divided in 2 halfs: Build up and then just FIGHT!!!!!

Anyways thank you for reading and i'll see you on Part 2.
Nelemico2000
Nelemico2000 - 7/5/2016, 3:06 PM
@BaronZemo - Yeah! I wish they could make both parts 3 hours long each! They might need it to be like that. I mean, if they were to include every hero they introduced in the MCU, they need tons of time!
What do you think are the 68 characters? I believe they might be:
1. Iron Man
2. Captain America
3. Spider-Man
4. Black Widow
5. Hawkeye
6. Hulk
7. Thor
8. Rhodey

I secretly hope for galactus being the biggest villain in part two. That would be really neat

@malsemarcel - Well, i still want the villain to be Thanos, but an appearance of Galactus would be amazing

I like that you not only referenced the events of Civil War, but left a lot of the infinity arc for part 2.Great action beats, especially loved the nod to Hulk lifting a mountain.

The only thing that maybe could use polishing is Dr Strange and Fury running around collecting Avengers. It makes sense and is needed to get them together, I just worry that it could come across as both tired (Fury yet again gathering/motivating the Avengers) and coincidental if not handled well.

The only other thing is I would consider adding the Black Order to the main battle. Everybody wants to show Thanos being powerful enough to take on everybody at once, but considering we have like twenty heroes, I worry that you'd run into one or two technical issues. Choreographing all twenty people against one would be a nightmare. Video games have a certain number of "attack slots" that enemies can use so that it still has some visual appeal, instead of just a messy dog pile that looks boring. If you only let a few Avengers take him at a time, you run the risk of having the heroes fall prey to the classic Ninja henchman trope, where they refuse to use their numbers effectively. Giving some henchmen would let you have the main 6 avengers fight Thanos, and leave the ancillary heroes (Drax, Ant-Man, Hawkeye) to have something to do.
