Walter Hardy (Viggo Mortensen) is the only one who knows the super-soldier serum that made Cap America. Kingpin threatens to kill Walter's daughter, Felecia (Demi Lovato) if he doesn't get the serum. After Kingpin milks it out of him, Felecia is tested and is told that when an element called Promethium X comes to earth, she MUST rob it.
J Jonah Jameson asks Peter to get photos of his son John (Sam Worthington) when he comes back on earth with the chunk of pure Promethium X. When Peter is taking photos, Black Cat steals the Promethium X. Peter turns into Spider-Man and puts his camera on an automatic timer. He confronts Black Cat and tells him that the Promethium X is to be studied by Dr. Connors and not stolen. Unknown to Spider-Man, a little "surprise" comes out of the Promethium X and grabs a hold of his leg. Spider-Man retrieves the rock and gives it to Jameson.
