Chapter 1

The bells to the tower rang as Peter lay badly injured. Every muscle in his body ached as he struggled to get up. His costume had been ripped in shreds and blood seeped through it. He had to get up no matter how much his body wanted him to stay he needed to go after Venom. He was on the loose again and no telling how much damage he would do if he didn’t stop him. As Peter lay underneath the bells of the tower he couldn’t help but remember the last time he was there. It was the last time he ever wore the costume.

The sounds of the bells drove the symbiote away but he had been badly injured by a gang of vulture wannabe’s. He remembered almost dying and for some reason he forced himself to forget the symbiote and what it did. The symbiote risked itself to save him as it pulled him out of harms way.

“What if Reed Richard’s was wrong? What if all the symbiote wanted was to bond with him? What if it wasn’t trying to take control? It never harmed him. It was alone. He had seen into its mind. It only wanted a partnership. Peter thought as he leaned against the wall to the tower.

It shared its power with him and he rejected it. The symbiote then became an instrument of hate that eventually became venom. What if he had accepted it? Venom would never had been born and neither would Carnage. He was given a responsibility he thought as he leaned his head against the wall.

“Right and you fled that responsibility.” A familiar voice said as a image appeared in front of him.

“The Beyonder! I thought you were?”

“Dead.” The image replied as Peter looked on in disbelief.
“No I am merely in a place more suitable for someone like me.” The Beyonder replied

“Then why have you come?” Pete asked uneasily.

“The symbiote was a gift. I had seen inside your heart. I saw everything that you lost from Your uncle Ben, to your beloved Gwen. I saw how alone you were despite all the people around you that loved you.
Just like you the symbiote on its own world had experienced loss.
I gave something to you with great power that could share the burden of being Spider-man and you rejected it. It was your responsibility no one else’s to carry the burden of the symbiote. That is why so much pain has come since you rejected it.

“Why now though after all this time do you come?” Peter asked.

“Because I am nothing more than a implantation of my true self left inside your mind in case you ever did reject this gift. This last message from me was only to come when you realize what you had done. Now that you have. You must find the symbiote and the two of you must become one. It was your responsibility Peter and with great power comes a greater responsibility. The creature you know now only exists because of your actions. In time the symbiote would have became you and become a part of what makes Peter Parker Spider-Man. So go and reclaim your gift for it is yours to bear.“ The image said disappearing.

How could I have been so stupid. Peter thought. How could I have never seen the symbiote for what it was. “ Peter thought swinging off into the city knowing full well that the only way to ever rid the world of venom would be to take back the gift he had rejected.

Chapter 2

Venom roared in Anger as Spider-man kicked him in the chest as rain pored down heavily.

“I will eat your brains Parker.” Venom said as he caught Peter by the head smashing Peters body into the brick wall of the building.

“Then do it.” Peter said standing in front of venom.”

“I want you back.” Peter said taking off his mask.

“It wont have you.” Brock said angrily.

“I’m sorry I was scared I thought you were trying to take me over. I had no idea what you were.”

“No this cant be!” Brock said as the symbiote began to ooze off his body.

“ Even if it wanted to go with you its to late its permanently bonded with me.” Brock said laughing.

“Their must be a way.” Peter said as Eddie shoved Peter away from him.

“No you cant! Don’t leave it with me!” Brock begged the symbiote.
There was a loud bang as Brocks body was thrown to the floor as the symbiote ripped away from Brock heading for Peter.

Welcome back.” Peter said as the symbiote oozed over Peters body till finally it covered his head as once again the two were joined.

Help me!! Brock yelled as to Peters disbelief Brocks body was being taken over by another black symbiote.

What’s happening?” Peter asked.

“All the hate that I had built for you , it was the only way I could come back.All that is left is rage.” The symbiote replied.

"I cant control it! Brock said desperately as the symbiote engulfed him consuming all that was Eddie leaving only Venom.

Lightning flashed as Peter tightened his fists as Venom slashed at Peters stomach cutting through the symbiote slashing Peters chest.
Pete then fired a mixture of his webbing and the symbiote at venoms fangs. Peter then threw venom down on the street below as he jumped on venoms back punching furiously at the back of venoms head as the two enemies slammed on a car below. Venom then kicked Spiderman in the face sending Peter crashing through a window of a nearby store.

Peter lay there helplessly as Venom Charged at him sending both his fists smashing against Peters face. Blood seeped from Peters mouth and as it did the symbiote turned red and black as it sent a web of spear like knives into Venoms chest. Peter then Flipped in the air kicking venom twice in the head as he grabbed on to Venoms body throwing him against a bus as people ran for the lives as Spider-Man walked over to his injured enemy.

“It’s over let Brock go!”

“You want him take him!” Venom said as it began to crush Eddies body.

“Help me!!!!!!” Eddie screamed in pain as the suit thru Eddie out.

“He is of no use to me anymore. “ Venom yelled swinging off into the night as rain poured down on Brock's injured body.






Chapter Three

“Good morning Peter.” Harry Osborn said as Peter let him in.

“What do you want?” Peter said telling Mary Jane to go to the other room.

“You can rest easily Pete. I’m not here for a fight at least not today.”

“Then what are you here for?”

“The police came to see me last night. It seems someone vandalized Harry’s grave site.

“I’m sorry to hear that. You have the money. I’m sure you can make the repairs.”

“That’s not all.”

“His bodies missing.” Osborne said sitting down.

“Why would anyone take his body. Its been so long, what would anyone want with his bones “You have a lot of enemies who would want to do that.” Peter asked.

I don’t know but I swear if I find them.” Osborne said looking in Peters eyes.

“Look I’ll look into it.” Stay cool don’t let your better half into this.

“If you find out anything.” Osborne asked as Peter walked him out.

“I’ll let you know.” Pete said closing the door.

“What was that about?” Mary Jane asked

“Someone stole Harry’s bones.”

“Why would someone want to do that?” Mary Jane asked.

“It could be a number of reasons. Especially now that Gwen’s children are alive.” Peter thought as he looked out the window.

I need to get some air MJ. I’ll be back Peter said jumping out of the window as the symbiote oozed over his body till it fully covered him.

Osborne sat by the fire lighting a cigar as he listened to Mozart on his radio.

“Its good to see that you haven’t changed. A voice said in the shadows.

“Who’s there?” Osborne asked looking in the direction of the voice.

“Someone close.” The voice replied with a laugh as venom stepped out of the shadows.

“Its you the wannabe.” Osborne said unimpressed.

“Still the same always telling people how inferior they are to you.”

“Tell me what was it like coming back from the dead?”

“The voice asked.”

“I must say I came hear to get some things but when I heard you where alive

I had to see it for myself.”

Osborne then hit a switch as the handle of his chair revealed a pair of pumpkin bombs.

Osborn reached for and as he did Venom webbed Osborn’s hand to the chair.

“Now its been a long time.” Venom said popping his knuckles.”
Venom punched Osborne in the face as Osborne sat angrily, blood dripping down his nose.

“Do your worst.” Osborne said as he spat on Venoms Face.

Venom then threw Osborne out the window sending Osborne’s body crashing against the pavement. Osborne crawled in pain as he hit a switch on his watch. His bedroom exploded into flames as Venom jumped out landing before Osborne.Venom then grabbed Osborne by the hair throwing him back into his burning home.

Burning wood fell on top of Osborne pinning him to the floor.
Venom then crashed through the wall of the house grabbing Osborn again throwing him through the wall of the house.
Venom then picked Osborn up with one arm as he stretched his claws reading for the kill.

“Hey why don’t you pick on someone your own size.” A voice said from behind.

“You!!!!!!” Venom said dropping Osborne.

“Hey looks like you lost a little weight. Spidey said shooting a web at Venoms face.

Venom then punched the remaining barriers to the house as the house began to crumble. Spidey quickly grabbed Osborne swinging out of the house. The house the crumbled to the ground. Spidey knelt as Osborn lay in his arms barely breathing.


Chapter 4

Peter stood in front of Harry’s grave wondering why Vvenom had all of a sudden peeked such an interest in Osborne. His former best friends father lay in the hospital in critical condition. His greatest enemy who he had saved. He just as well had let him die after all Osborne will again try to kill him one day but then his life wouldn’t be so interesting if he did that.” Pete thought with a laugh.
Now to the bigger mystery where was his best friends body?”

“What would anyone gain by obtaining his bones?”.

He hadn’t visited Harry in a while. He thought putting a rose by his grave.
In fact he’s had so much happen that he almost forgot that Harry had a younger son. He hadn’t visited Liz or him in a while. Maybe him and MJ should visit them to see how there doing.

He had promised himself to be a part of little Normans life so that way he wouldn’t be corrupted by Osborne. It was time he keep his promise he thought walking off.

Pete walked into his apartment as he headed to his window and as he did he noticed a rose on the edge of it. The same rose he had left at the cemetery.

“Thanks but no thanks “A voice said from behind.”

“Harry its impossible.” Peter said backing up into the window as Peters symbiote immediately began to ooze over Peters body in defense.

“I saw you die.”

“I did.” Harry said with a smile.

“But I’m back.”

“How?” Peter asked.

You see. I’m not the same Harry you remember.”

“No the old Harry was weak.”

“The symbiote reconstructed me. It assumed my d.n.a. and reawakened my soul.

“So you’re a clone.”

“No Peter its me. I remember dying in your arms when I should have left you to die but I couldn’t cause I was weak.” We already know what happens when you cross a spider with the symbiote but what happens when you cross a goblin with one?” Harry said as the symbiote began to ooze over his body.

‘You attacked Osborne last night?”” Peter asked in disbelief.
“That’s right he represents everything about my old life that I hated as do you.” Harry said as his symbiote pushed Peter out the window. Harry jumped out with him as the symbiote covered his entire body. Peter shot a web at the building across the street as he propelled his body toward it. Peter clung to the wall as Harry swung from side to side on his web as he looked at Peter wickedly.

“I have her.” Harry said as the costume drew a smile.

“If you hurt MJ I swear I’ll.” Peter said in anger.

“Not MJ Pete. Someone who looks a lot like Gwen.”
No! She’s your sister!”

“She’s nothing to me. She gave to my father what she never gave to you. You know why. Because you are weak just like I used to be.”

“Shut up!” Peter said flinging his self towards Harry.

“Sensitive aren’t we.” Harry said dodging Peter as he kicked him in the back sending Pete’s body colliding into the wall of the building.

“I’d kill you now but I want you alive long enough to see the final act. You remember the place where it all began. I’ll be waiting.” Harry said swinging off.
