Hey guys after hearing the news about Star Wars I revisited the collection, and then came to hope Disney would not continue the franchise but reboot it. I would keep the story lines the same, and really didn't mind the Mathew Vaughn and jon Favreau rumors as directors, But here are my Ideas for casting...


Nicholas Hoult as Luke Skywalker


He is a up and coming actor, who is no stranger to action and huge fan base movies.

Nathan Fillion as Han Solo

His character in Firefly was basically Han Solo inspired.

Anna Kendrick as Princess Leia

Anna and Nicholas are about the same age and resemble each other. She is also no stranger to huge fan bases.

Daniel Craig as Obi-Wan Kenobi

Who better to teach Luke about the force but 007.

Terrance Stamp as the Emperor

Terrance is a great actor who can be a fearful villian.

Tyler Mane as Chewbacca

Tyler is a big guy who can bring some toughness to chewy

Simon Pegg as c3po and Vern Troyer as r2d2

A great comic duo who could feed off of each other.

and Last but not least

Liam Neeson as Darth Vader

He is very underrated as a Voice actor, and I know he was in episode 1 but he would really bring vader to the Dark Side!

This is awesome.

As much as Nathan FIllion would kill the role, he's about 10 years too old. Han is supposed to be 29 in New Hope.

This would be a good idea if it was a "What if they made A New Hope NOW?" kind of situation.

Lucas Till as Luke Skywalker
Clancy Brown as Darth Vader
Timothy Olyphant as Han Solo (Watch him on Justified and in this clip)
??? as Leia (Havent decided)
Terence Stamp as Grand Moff Tarkin
Vern Troyer as R2-D2

And that's all I have so far! Tell me what you think!

Sorry but Gary Oldman is a must for Obi-Wan.

Other then that i love it, I mean finally someone else who thinks Anna Kendrick would be a great Leia!

I love Nicholas Hoult as Luke.
I like your picks for the emperor and C3Po.

Nathan Fillion is great but I think Billy Burke would be perfect for Han Solo.

I hate this idea, SW7 sounds cool. I concur with JokerFan, why would they reboot it when the story possibilities are almost endless. Not a bad cast I just hate the idea of a Star Wars reboot.

Simon Pegg and Verne Troyer aren't a comic duo! Simon Pegg and NICK FROST are a comic duo!

I hate the idea of remaking Star Wars anyway (this isn't a reboot, it's a remake, because it has the same story, although rebooting is a stupid idea too). I'm sorry that I can't say anything positive about your cast, but it'd have to be something miraculously special to be even remotely possible of usurping the greatness of the original cast.

DANIEL CRAIG is way not old enough for OBI-WAN
and FILLION is way too old for HAN.

The rest are great!

LIAM would make a great VADER but he already played
a character in the STAR WARS franchise.

TYLER MANE'S pretty good for CHEWY.

The first STAR WARS should not be rebooted tho'.
Just carry the franchise onward.
