Long time ago, it is mentioned that Thor can beat any opponent with his foot on the back and is told he is an experienced fighter with millennia of training, which is never shown during his fights.
Without the hammer, which would be Thor? What powers would remain?
The answer is simple strength and invulnerability, without either can not fly without the hammer

God of thunder, nothing!

6.Versus Gladiator

7.Hulk uses the Mjolnir against Thor

8.Mangog piss of Thor

9.Versus Gladiator again

10.Thanos owns Thor

11.Doctor Doom block Mjolnir

12.Versus Spiderman. Thor is very slow,ha ha ha.

Lol! You should also add Superman defeats and so forth so that any fanboys don't get a reason to flame here, as I assure they sure will.

this could be a good series if you use other super heros who seem invincible (superman, batman, hulk, ect)

worthless, pointless article. every superhero looses battles
in their perspective books. we could pick any hero, superman
for instance. superman is no pussy, but he looses fights.
and sometimes he looses fights that he shouldn't lose.
thats how they sell books dude. if superman never ever
lost a fight, people would get bored with the books and
stop buying them. the hero wins or looses fights based on
the story line.

Sounds like a Batman fanboy that is jealous that The Mighty Thor is finally getting the respect he deserves as Marvels greatest superhero.

For the record the Thor with the beard in these comics is Eric Masterson and NOT the REAL Thor. I was quite annoying and had zero experience in fighting. Also in the comic with Thanos, Thor was going crazy and Thanos just used a paralyzing gun he didnt blast him to hell. Thor isnt my favorite character so i dont really care but these are pretty awful.

You should post the rest of the Gladiator fight where Thor kicks his ass at the end.

"Wait...Thor is too slow for Spiderman, but you think he can keep up with Superman? XD"
Dido... lol

And Gladiator's got nothing on Supes! lol

i'm not a fanboy or nothin, I have to admit, on paper Thor should whoop EVERYONE, but the fact is, he doesn't. Same with Silver Surfer. Same with Supes... etc. What's the point of all those powers if the writer just forgets about them when the character is in battle.

@Dumegg
You mad brah? haha btw the only way Thor beat the hulk, thing, cap america, and wolverine in "The Reigning" is cause he had the Odin Force.

I'm not mad dude, i'm just saying that your article comes across
as a troll article. designed to provoke. now if your articles were
more about epic losses in battle, but you are only posting part
of the fight. btw, when Odin dies, Thor automatically inherits
the Odinforce, so it becomes part of him.

As far as the Magog fight is concerned, this is the continuation of it from Thor #24 vol.2 ........

Have to congratulate you SageMode! As most of these posts prove, someone gets the upper hand on Thor for the time being, until usually the next issue, where in the end, Thor comes out on top (for the most part).

Of course this is the standard in nearly every comic you buy out there. The writers have to create some sort of conflict and have a climax for each comic that is going to build suspense for the next issue, to see "what will happen next". I bet you a very high percentage of comics you will see your favorite character in some sort of peril, that will lead to a "victory" for the title character, at the end of that particular story arc.

It would just be too boring if any one character won on a constant basis. Just my opinion.
