Superman- one of the few survivors of Krypton and is one of the most famous and powerful superheroes. He grew up on Earth and hides behind the guise of Clark Kent, reporter for the Daily Planet.
My first choice for Superman is Joe Mangianello. His acting credits are Spider-Man and True Blood. Mangianello is basically the fan favorite for Superman and there is good reason looking at the picture below he looks just like supes and plus he is a good actor.
(Whoever made this picture, I thank you.)
My second choice is Armie hammer. His acting credits are Social Network and Reaper. He is also a fan favorite. He doesn’t look as much like Superman but he is a great actor and has the perfect build.
(Again whoever made this picture, thank you.)
Lex Luthor- one of the most gifted beings alive, whose hatred of "interfering aliens" pushes him down the path of a sociopath. Known for his "ends justifies the means" approach to life, his single-minded and often brutal focus puts him at odds with Superman. (In this movie I want Lex to be a true evil mastermind not a real estate salesman.) (I also don’t want Lex to be the main villain, possibly a secondary one.)
My first choice for Lex is Billy Zane. His acting credits are Titanic and The Phantom. He is the fan favorite for the role. I think he is perfect for this role. He looks just like Lex and can portray the role perfectly as seen in Titanic.
My second choice for Lex is Arnold Vosloo. His acting credits are The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, and Blood Diamond. This guy is an amazing actor. He is the only good part of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. He also looks perfect for the role.
My third choice for Lex is Stanley Tucci. His acting credits are The Terminal and Lucky Number Slevin. This guy is an amazing actor. I think he can pull Lex off very, very well. He looks great for the role maybe a little short but he is great. The height thing can be good they can use it as a device to show how different Superman and Lex really are. Superman is really tall and Lex is short. They could also fix his height with putting the cameras at a certain angle.
Lois Lane-a Pulitzer Prize winning Journalist for the world-renown Daily Planet. She was one of the first reporters to interview Superman. She is married to Clark Kent, who happens to be Superman.
My choice for Lois is Anne Hathaway. Her acting credits are Love and Other Drugs, Rachel getting Married, and Get Smart. I think Hathaway is perfect for this role. She is beautiful and is a very, very good actress. She already played a role similar to Lois Lane in Get Smart already and she played it very well.
Jimmy Olsen-Jimmy Olsen (full name James Bartholomew Olsen) is a fictional character who appears in DC Comics’ Superman stories and is considered to be his best friend.
My first choice for Jimmy Olsen is Bret Harrison. His acting credits are Reaper and Grounded for Life. He is a great actor and looks perfect for the role. Jimmy is also like the comic relief of the movie in my opinion and Harrison can play that role perfectly.
My second choice is Evan Peters. His acting credits are Kick-Ass and Never Back Down. I think he has the look that’s good for the old school look of Jimmy Olsen with the suit and bow tie. Peters also has a lot of acting potential and i think this could be a great role for him.
Perry White- The editor of the Daily Planet, the newspaper where Clark Kent (Superman) works. A hard taskmaster, but a very loveable character.
My choice for Perry White is Tom Selleck. His acting credits are Magnum P.I. and Blue Bloods. He is a great actor. If he shaves, he will have the right look.
Brainiac- a long time enemy of Superman, having shrunk the city of Kandor. He is a computer who has no physical form but chooses to appear most times as a green alien with no hair, claiming to be the most intelligent villain ever. (The main villain in my fancast.)
My choice for Brainiac is Alan Rickman. His acting credits are Die Hard, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and the Harry Potter series. Brainiac will be completely CGI and Rickman will be the voice. Rickman has the greatest evil voice ever. He can play “the most intelligent villain ever” easily.
Well that’s my fancast. Let me know what you think.
