Perhaps my favorite Super Hero team of all time would have to be the Marvel Knights. Partialy because of it's roster which contains mostly superheros who aren't really powerful (with some exceptions like Strange and Ghost Rider) like SOME of the Avengers or the JLA. Throughout the years the roster has included Daredevil, Spiderman, Punisher, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Ghost Rider, Blade, Shang Chi, Cloak, Dagger, Black Widow, Black Panther, Black Cat, Moon Knight, and Doctor Strange. The team was originally formed by Daredevil to battle the rock troll Ulik, the original members being Daredevil, Black Widow, Shang-Chi, Dagger and The Punisher, after words being joined by several other heroes.
The reason I dig this team is it's roster. They relate to us because allot of them come from a dark past because of murdered familiy members or losing something then taking a different path. Plus the heroes on this roster are all pretty cool.
Basically I would love to see these guys team up on the beig screen or maybe a TV series (not all of them because finding time to give fifthteen characters their screen time and doing it justice would be very difficult). I have put together a list of actors for each chacter that I think should be in the movie.
First I would pick Jason Statham to play the leader Daredevil. He's a good actor and I think the tone of his voice does fit with the tone of Daredevil's character. Plus he can kick ass to.
For Spiderman it would be best to stay with Tobey Maguire because the audiences (like myself) like him and are use to him.
Scarlet Johansson as The Black Widow. One because she's hot and two because she's been signed up for this role in Ironman 2, so I trust John Favreau made a good choice.
Thomas Jane as Ironfist. Great actor and I think he looks like Iron Fist to.
Of course if you have Iron Fist you got to have his buddy Luke Cage. My pick for Luke would be Tyrese Gibson. I mean just look at those guns and plus he looks like him.
Sam Rockwell as Moon Knight. I think Sam Rockwell would do a good job playing the mentally disturbed man that is Moon Knight (he's proven that in Moon)
Liam Neeson as Doctor Strange. He's a great actor, his voice is just right for Strange and he can pull off the gotee
Finally Tricia Helfer as Black Cat. She's good at play seductive characters and that's Black Cat all over.
