The Justice League of America 1950s Fancast Part Two

The Justice League of America 1950s Fancast Part Two

Part One established the core of the team and their united foes. In part two we take a look at special guest stars as the cinematic legends of yesteryear take over the DC universe.

In part one I named a core line up for the JLA, and the core of the Legion of Doom. I should better spell out that Sidney Poitier as Martian Manhunter would be episode one's special guest star. "Invasion of the Martian Manhunter" would see the JLA and Legion race to retrieve suspected UFO wreckage in New Mexico. There they discover in all his 1950s sci-fi glory, Martian Manhunter. Will he be friend or foe? Is he man or monster? Invader or refugee? All that jazzy 50s suspense and paranoia. Perhaps, in tribute to Adam West's Batman cliffhangers, my JLA show would end with its own cliffhangers each week, leaving the impressionable youth of the 50s to wonder if the Manhunter will help destroy or save their heroes from the clutches of the Legion.
Episode two would feature Lon Cheney Jr as the Swamp Thing. In similar fashion, viewers would not know if Swampie were a tragic hero or a mindless monstrosity until he breaks free of the Legions mind control. At the stories conclusion, when offered a spot in the JLA, Swamp Thing gives a mournful look at his lost humanity and turns away to meander off into the dark swamp.

Anyways, some more casting ideas for other heroes and villains...

Marilyn Monroe for Power Girl. Who else but, right?

Rita Hayworth for Zatanna.

Sophia Loren for Hawk Girl. End Part two. More to come!

Yay! Go JUSTIVE LEAGUE!

In all seriousness, this is a lazy article, you couldn't spell justice correctly for crying out loud!

Lol, a typo. Yay me. The article was meant to be longer, with more characters cast, but for some reason I could only manage these to actually post. I even changed pics a few times but, nope, just these posted. As for the typo, you got me there. I hadn't even noticed.
Btw...that thing you just posted? That is called a run on sentence. To avoid that in the future, choose a semi-colon rather than a comma after "article" and "you".

oooh, grammatical errors. OMG! ಠ_ಠ

Nice, but yeah, make it a bit longer.

Also, you can just edit the title of the article.

You mean a semi-colon between "article" and "you".
