THE NEW AVENGERS.



Johnny Depp as Iron Man.

Johnny Depp is one of the worlds greatest and loved actors. I don't need to sell you why he's a good actor. But as Iron Man, he is smart, sophisticated and extremely witty. Only he can take up RDJ as Iron Man. I would use Bleeding Edge suit.



Matthew Grey Gubler as SPIDER-MAN.

Matthew (Criminal Minds, 500 Days of Summer) is a talented actor with a smart, witty appearance and vice that can pull off the nerdy, skinny and less buff version of SPIDER-MAN. Spider-Man is usually depicted as a pretty skinny guy.My influence is THE AVENGING SPIDER-MAN, mostly Joe Mad’s artwork. This is how Peter/Spidey would look, a slight variation to the comic suit. Thus making it the most faithful adaption.



Karl Urban as THE WOLVERINE

Karl (Dredd 3D, Stark Trek) has a terrific build and right jaw line for the Wolverine Cowl I would give him. He even has the kind of look "don't mess with me" that can make you shit you pants. That's the real Wolverine.



Terry Crews as LUKE CAGE

Terry (The Expendables 1 and 2) has the looks and build set for Luke Cage. There is no other guy I could have thought to be this much of a badass.
Oh yeah he can act pretty good too. Perfect match I say.



Chris Pine as CAPTAIN AMERICA

We have never seen this suit on-screen, so why not? Chris Pine (Unstoppable, Star Trek) is buff and solid. The suit would be Ultimates.



Alexander Skarsgard as the SENTRY

Alexander(True Blood, Battleship) a Swedish actor, could defiantly pull this off.



Emily Blunt as SPIDER-WOMAN.

Emily (The Five Yearn Engagement, The Adjustment Bureau) is a sexy, smart and great actress. She has the looks of Jessica Drew in my eyes.



Liam Hemsworth as IRON FIST.

Liam (The Hunger Games, Expendables 2) the younger brother of Thor (God of Thunder) is a great actor with the looks for Iron Fist.



DIRECTOR: J.J ABRAMS.



I have always loved J.J Abrams. From the Rebooted Star Trek, Fringe to Super 8, the guy really knows how to direct huge scale action, the main factor in a movie like this. I see him as a Geek Favorite aswell, a good choice to direct.

Anyway, this is not too bad. I'm not a fan of your picks for Iron Man or Luke Cage, but good effort.

I actually don't mind your cast. It's very original, though I must say, I can't see Pine as Cap. To me, picking someone to play Cap is like picking someone to play Batman, no one is ever going to seem worthy to me. Great cast nonetheless!

Not particularly a fan of Depp as Iron Man or Pine as Cap. The others? Sure, but not them. I personally would like to see John Cusack in the role of Iron Man. That's only id RDJ wasn't playing him already of course!

A 6'2" "GIANT" is not the "REAL" WOLVERINE, no way,
shape or form!

Wolverine is REALLY SHORT!
I didn't make that up, MARVEL COMICS did.
That is his dynamic, his biggest character trait.

Why does everybody think it's a crime to make
WOLVERINE SHORT in a movie?

Damn SINGER and his ABSOLUTELY inaccurate LOGAN!

LOGAN needs to be really short, the "RUNT" or
he's some other character with claws, a tall one!
SOME "OTHER" CHARACTER!

There are all kinds of short actors!
There is no EXCUSE to make LOGAN "TALL"!

WOLVERINE is my favorite comic book character.
I'm very passionate about him!

His main dynamic is his size, the small giant-killer!

There are plenty of comic characters with claws but
WOLVERINE is THE RUNT with claws. That is his dynamic.

I'm not being a troll about this!
Just passionate!

I mean NO OFFENSE to anybody!

Wow, DDD calm the hell down. Wolverine's height is not is his biggest character trait. But are you honestly telling me you would prefer some short actor who can't act over Hugh Jackman's awesome portrayal?

Some good picks here! Not a fan of Hemsworth as Iron Fist.

Ignor DDD when it comes to height. He said he'd rather have Armie Hammer as Superman over Cavill because he is three inches taller.

I'm liking Skarsgard as Sentry. He would probably need to bulk up a little more. Height wise. Perfect. Was not expecting Depp as Iron Man. Pretty much a perfect fan cast.

And no, I don't want a really short actor who can't act
play WOLVERINE. I don't want any actor who can't act
play WOLVERINE. I don't want an actor who don't look
like him in the face to play him either or isn't wide
and muscular. JACKMAN looks like him in the face and
has captured his 'tude quite well. And has worked very
hard to get bulked, so I have to respect that

But I'm really sick of FOX'S awful, inaccurate WOLVERINE
films starring a VERY TALL actor.

But the difference between 5'3" & 6'2" is almost a foot.
URBAN is the same exact height as JACKMAN.
6'2" is considered tall by EVERYBODY.
HENRY CAVILL who's playing SUPERMAN is 6'1".
SUPERMAN is a TALL character.

WOLVERINE is a very short character in the comics and
is called "RUNT" all the time.
I didn't make that up. The guy who created him made that up!

I like TWEEEEENKIES@ pick of JON BERNTHAL for LOGAN now.
He's 5'10 1/2". That's sure not a MIDGET!

My pick has been CHRISTIAN KANE. There are a lot of
people on the internet who agree with that. He lists
himself at 5'9" (altho' the blonde actress who stars in
LEVERAGE along with him looks way taller than him in
photographs (she's 5'9"), so I think he's fudging on
that a little).
lol

But it seems to me that a lot of people want to just
go ahead and make WOLVERINE tall on purpose because
they don't like a short WOLVERINE!
That is WRONG!
Follow the character when casting, I mean within reason.

There are plenty of short actors who could play WOLVERINE.
Actors who are between 5'7" & 5'10", NOT TALL as in 6'1"
to 6'2".

WOLVERINE was created by the artist/writer HERB TRIMPE.
He said he based him on the WOLVERINE animal because
it's a smaller predator but scarier than a huge GRISLY
BEAR.

He wanted WOLVERINE to be dynamite in a small package
to go up against the monstrously huge HULK, to be a
very visually dramatic dynamic. He created him to be
a 'RUNT" who is a "GIANT-KILLER"!

If you take away that dynamic you destroy what he was created to be. PLAIN & SIMPLE!
