Would Robert Carlysle be a good Wolverine?

Who would be a good Wolverine alternative?

Even though Hugh Jackman is doing quite a good job at portraying one of the most popular X-Men, but the tall Aussie according to some die-hard X-fans is simply just too tall.
In the comics Wolverine is a short person of about 5 feet and 3 inches, Jackman would tower above him with his 6 feet and 2.5 inches.
According to some people the movie directors chose Jackman because he would appeal to the audience and he was already a big name actor.

It is a shame they have never looked further because there are a few actors out there who do resemble the comicbook hero.

One of those forgotten ones has to be mr. Robert Carlysle.

Have a look and see if you agree.

Waste of space article, do a REAL casting, it don't take much to do like 5 minimum castings, a lot of people below this, have done a lot and a lot of thought in their castings and a lot of hard work dude!

Not against you, just one thought up castings should be in features or something.

Should OWEN WILSON play DR DOOM???

NO.

Carlysle would be a fine cast. Actually probably prefered more (imo) than Jackman. But here's the problem, both men are now advanced in age. He's almost 50! That consideration should be up there with height since one would assume multiple films.
He was excellent in "Ravenous"!
