Adams's prediction was off by two days. From the outset, Americans celebrated independence on July 4, the date shown on the much-publicized Declaration of Independence, rather than on July 2, the date the resolution of independence was approved in a closed session of Congress.
Historians have long disputed whether Congress actually signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, even though Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and Benjamin Franklin all later wrote that they had signed it on that day. Most historians have concluded that the Declaration was signed nearly a month after its adoption, on August 2, 1776, and not on July 4 as is commonly believed.
In a remarkable coincidence, both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, the only signers of the Declaration of Independence to later serve as President of the United States, died on the same day: July 4, 1826, which was the 50th anniversary of the Declaration.

Captain America was the alter ego of Steve Rogers, a sickly young man who was enhanced to the peak of human perfection by an experimental serum in order to aid the United States war effort. Captain America wears a costume that bears an American flag motif, and is armed with an indestructible shield that can be thrown as a weapon.
Well I know surprise lol, looks like Chris Evans is Captain America, lets hope he truly does the living American flag the justice the Marvel character deserves, no doubt he will.
Aaron Eckhart as American Flagg:
The story takes place in the year 2031, after a series of worldwide crises called the Year of the Domino (1996) has forced the U.S. government and the heads of major corporations to relocate to Hammarskjold Center, on Mars ("temporarily, of course"). In the wake of the American government leaving the planet and the Soviet Union collapsing from Islamic insurrections, there was a power shift throughout the world, with Brazilian Union of the Americas and the Pan-African League becoming the new superpowers on Earth.
However, the exiled American government, its corporate backers, and a group of technicians in the defected Soviet lunar colony of Gagaringrad form the Plex: a giant, interplanetary union of corporate and government concerns that conduct commerce and govern the United States from its capital on Mars. Many population centers are grouped around massive, fortified arcologies called Plexmalls and the law is enforced by the Plexus Rangers, the absentee Plex's Earthside militia.
The Plex has formed the Tricentennial Recovery Committee, to get America "back on track for '76", but the TRC is in reality a plan to sell the United States off to the new superpowers and to leech off the remaining inhabitants before gaining true self-sufficiency. As a result, the Plex has outlawed non-combat related education, organized sports such as basketball and personal aircraft, restricted media to only one outlet, the Plex itself (although it has multiple channels), and advocates and glorifies the use of political violence amongst independent policlubs by providing money and firearms for its hit TV show Firefight All Night LIVE!, and covertly sterilizes the population by using a combo contraceptive and antibiotic called Mañanacillin to reduce the population.
Come on, Aaron is one of the best actors out there, just gotta dye his hair and this movie would be a must see and crowd puller!
Ben McKenzie as The Flag:
Jim Courtney was found as an infant on the doorstep of John Courtney, a crippled war veteran and flag maker. John discovered that Jim had an American flag birthmark. On his 21st birthday, Jim was visited by the spirits of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln and told that he had "the speed of the wind and the strength of a 100 men" as well as invulnerability to all weapons. He also left a star-spangled trail behind him whenever he ran. Jim now uses these powers to fight the enemies of America.
Ben would bring depth, just check out his new cop show, not so much his old show though "The OC" lol.
Ali Larter as Liberty Belle I:
The first Liberty Belle is Libby Lawrence-Chambers. Her powers of enhanced speed, strength, and stamina are linked to the ringing of the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. Early in her mystery-woman career she has an assistant in that city who would, when signaled, ring the bell for her. In her later years, after decades of super-strength and retarded aging, many begin to theorize about the nature of her powers - some believed the sonic vibrations of the bell triggers a meta-human gene, some believe that it is mystical, that Libby is connected to the power of the Spirit of America, like the hero Uncle Sam. Most of Liberty Belle's heroic exploits take place during the Second World War, and she is one of the founding members (and later chairwoman) of the All-Star Squadron. In her public identity, she is the famous radio columnist Libby Lawrence, and is therefore well-known both in and out of costume. During the war she marries speedster Johnny Quick. After the War they have a daughter, Jesse, who shared both their powers and took the codename Jesse Quick. Libby Lawrence is a descendant of Bess Lynn, alias Miss Liberty.
Horus idea and totally agree, even though I can't remember what Belle he wanted for her, I like her for the original and cheers Horus, damn good eye!
Garret Hedlund as Winter Soldier:
After the plane explodes, General Vasily Karpov and the crew of a Russian patrol submarine find Bucky's cold-preserved body, minus one arm. Bucky is revived in Moscow, though, as a result of the explosion, he suffers brain damage with amnesia. Scientists attach a bionic arm, upgrading it every time technology improves.
Programmed to be a Soviet assassin under the code name the Winter Soldier, he is sent on covert wetworks missions, becoming increasingly ruthless and efficient as he kills in the name of the state. While a Soviet agent, he also has a brief relationship with The Black Widow. The Winter Soldier is kept in a cryogenic stasis when not on missions, and as a result has aged only a few years to a young adult since the closing days of World War II. In 1968, the Winter Soldier was to kill Professor Zhang Chin, whom he had met in WWII. Unfortunately, he was pinned down by an intangible being called The Man with No Face, though he was able to escape. On assignment in the United States in the 1970s, he suffers a breakdown and goes missing for days after assassinating his target.[volume & issue needed] It has also been revealed that as the Winter Soldier he aided in Wolverine's escape from the Weapon X laboratory and later murdered Wolverine's wife Itsu, seemingly killing their unborn son Daken who survived the attack by being cut from his mother's womb.
Much later after escaping from Faustus and being captured by S.H.I.E.L.D., Barnes learns from executive director Tony Stark that Steve Rogers had left Stark a letter asking him to watch over Barnes, and the mantle of Captain America should continue. Bucky agrees to become the new Captain America, but only if Stark guarantees him complete autonomy. As this arrangement is illegal under the Superhuman Registration Act, Stark keeps his support of the new Captain America secret. As Captain America, Barnes wears a new costume, laced with adamantium, and carries a pistol and a combat knife. He and his allies succeed in aborting the Skull's plans, and Bucky saves the Democratic and Republican presidential candidates from assassination, winning public applause. He also restarts his relationship with Black Widow.

Amber Heard as Liberty Belle II (Jesse Chambers/Quick):
Jesse Chambers is the second woman in the DC Universe to take the name of Liberty Belle. As discussed earlier, she is the daughter of Liberty Belle and Johnny Quick, having inherited her mother's powers. Combining those powers of enhanced strength, agility, reflexes and stamina with her father's speed, which is invoked by reciting the mathematical formula ("3X2(9YZ)4A"), her tremendous strength mixed with her super-speed made her a formidable opponent. Realizing that she was born to be a hero, against her mother's wishes, she joined the Justice Society of America in its third incarnation. Although originally known as the speedster Jesse Quick, in December 2006 (after the Infinite Crisis and the One-Year-Later jumpstart) she debuted as Liberty Belle. Upon joining the Society, she met the second Hourman, Rick Tyler, the son of the first, and fell in love with him. They eventually got married and worked as a duo within the Justice Society, until the team split into a smaller Justice Society and a new incarnation of the All-Stars (Although, with the DC reboot, the original All-Stars were apparently erased from existence). With this spilt Jesse stayed with the Society and Hourman went to be on the All-Stars team, with both acting as liaisons to the other team. As of the beginning of 2010, they're being on different teams has apparently not caused much stress to their relationship.
Well shes my Jesse Quick so as its the same person shes Liberty Belle II. What can i say that I havn't before, talented girl, looker too, would make a great Jesse and would own the DC part.
Denzel Washington as Deathlok (Luther Manning):
Colonel Luther Manning is an American soldier from Detroit, Michigan, who, after being fatally injured, is reanimated in a post-apocalyptic future to find what remains of his dead body has been turned into the experimental Deathlok cyborg by Simon Ryker. He verbally communicates with his symbiotic computer, to which he refers as the abbreviated "'Puter". He escapes from Ryker's control, although he dreams he has regained his humanity. He battles the evil corporate and military regimes that have taken over the United States, while simultaneously struggling not to lose his humanity. He battles Simon Ryker and the first War-Wolf, and encounters his wife and son for the first time after becoming a cyborg. He battles Simon Ryker's Super-Tank, and then begins a hunt for a "cyborg doctor". He battles Simon Ryker as the Savior Machine, and his mind is ultimately transferred into a Luther Manning clone. He battles mutants alongside a time-traveling Spider-Man. He begins working for the CIA, encounters Godwulf for the first time, and is then finally sent back in time to the modern era.
He battles the Devil-Slayer, but then battles demons alongside Devil-Slayer. He later becomes controlled by Mentallo and the Fixer and is sent to assassinate the President, but is stopped by the Thing and Nick Fury. After his capture he becomes catatonic, and is taken to England for treatment by the Thing. He is cured by Louis Knort, and Nick Fury takes him into custody.
No question, one of the best actors in Hollywood, and no question if we was lucky enough to have him play Deathlok, we'd be in for a massive wild cinema ride of our lives, damn I fancy watching "Training Day" again right now, incredible film.
Henry Cavill as Superman:
The original story of Superman relates that he was born Kal-El on the planet Krypton, before being rocketed to Earth as an infant by his scientist father Jor-El, moments before Krypton's destruction. Discovered and adopted by a Kansas farmer and his wife, the child is raised as Clark Kent and imbued with a strong moral compass. Very early he started to display superhuman abilities. Upon reaching maturity he resolved to use said abilities for the benefit of humanity.
While referred to less than flatteringly as "the big blue Boy Scout" by some of his fellow superheroes, Superman is hailed as "The Man of Steel," "The Man of Tomorrow," and "The Last Son of Krypton" by the general public. As Clark Kent, Superman lives among humans as a "mild-mannered reporter" for the Metropolis newspaper Daily Planet (Daily Star in the earliest stories). There he works alongside reporter Lois Lane, with whom he is romantically linked.
What can anyone say that hasn't been said about Cavill, top quality actor and if you havn't seen him check out "Tudors" a great show and shows off the kinda acting chops he has. I mean just look at the picture too, no brainer, Cavill for Kent.
Anderson Davis as Kalayan:
Height is 6 feet 1 inches, Davis it kinda an unknown, he had the lead in "Just Cops" "Outside of Pride" and co starred in a caravaggio project-2009, he was mentioned a couple of times as a possible Captain America too, I sense could be a rising star in the making, could do this unknown patriotic superhero on the way.
Channing Tatum as Fighting American:
In later comics published by Awesome Entertainment, Fighting American was John Flagg, a former soldier who gained powers through an unspecified experiment "never to be duplicated." The character lasted for three miniseries; a self-titled one, Rules of the Game, which reintroduced classic Kirby/Simon era villains, and Dogs of War. Jeph Loeb wrote the first two of the mini-series with Liefeld and Platt providing art for the first, Liefeld the modern-era parts and Platt the yester-year, followed by Ed McGuinness pencils in the second [Rules of the Game]. The third series was written by Jim Starlin and had artwork by Stephen Platt.
This Fighting American is reluctant to fight again, and is pained by the loss of his sidekick Speedboy, whose death is never elaborated upon. He is also very stern, and willing to kill if necessary, as when during a skirmish with Russian soldiers in World War II, or driven to extreme anger, as when his farm home is destroyed by two Russian Mafia hitmen, but believes in honoring the dead. Despite this, he becomes angry when one of his suspects is shot in the knee during interrogation.
Okay no joke, Channing is great for this, he would have made an awful Captain America like Duke in "Joe" but teaming up with Liefeld it would make a great direct to DVD movie lol, hey who wouldn't buy it heh heh. I am surprised though how Marvel let Awesome Entertainment away with it? Still am looking forward to "Youngblood" hopefully that'll have a good budget and we see some gold, well fingers crossed anyways.
Anthony Micheal Hall as The Old Soldier:
The Old Soldier — a symbolic, legendary figure clad in martial attire of many eras who manifests in wartime, including 1863, 1898, 1918, 1944, 1959, when he assisted Honor Guard against Shirak, October 1972, when he intervened against U.S. soldiers in Vietnam, and 1975, at the fall of Saigon. The factuality of the 1972 appearance, in which he played a controversial role, was doubted by many for that reason.
Chris Pine as Captain Glory:
Captain Glory was a character created by Jack Kirby for part of a 12-part series of American comic books published by Topps Comics, with this particular title dated April 1993.
Although Kirby had created this character, it was developed by Roy Thomas and Steve Ditko who provided story and art.
John Costanza had provided lettering with coloring by Janice Parker. The over-all effect was that of an old-fashioned comic in the style popular during the 1960s Silver Age.
Audrina Patridge as Yankee Girl:
Yankee Girl's secret identity is Lauren Mason, a heroine from the Golden Age of comics that AC revitalized and incorporated into the modern world. Her powers were originally bestowed by the wizard Merlin himself in order to produce a champion during the dark times of World War II.
In the AC Universe continuity, Yankee Girl and several other Golden Age heroes volunteered to enter suspended animated sleep at a top secret vault to be summoned again when the world needed them. During the "Shroud Wars" storyline of Femforce, these heroes were awakened and were initially referred to as the "Vault Champions". Following the Shroud Wars, these heroes began their crimefighting careers anew in the modern era. Yankee Girl's powers are derived from magic, granting her the powers of flight, super-strength, and invulnerability.
Yankee Girl is still essentially a young woman who grew up in the 1930s and 1940s, and is depicted as being relatively naive in regards to the modern world and how society has changed. In various Femforce issues, Yankee Girl served as a spokesmodel for "Dunkies", a popular snack cake, along with Span-X, a fabric tailored for superheroes, with humorous results.
Well ive only seen her in "Sorority Row" and "Into the Blue 2: The Reef" but i think she can pull off Yankee Girl, she certainly looks the part and i reckon she'd bring life to the character from the printed page to screen.
Clint Eastwood as Uncle Sam:
Uncle Sam first appeared in National Comics #1 (July, 1940), which was published by Quality Comics during the Golden Age of Comic Books. He was depicted as a mystical being who was originally the spirit of a slain patriotic soldier from the American Revolutionary War, and who now appears in the world whenever his country needs him. The character was used for a few years from 1940 to 1944, briefly receiving its own series, Uncle Sam Quarterly.
DC Comics acquired the character as part of its acquisition of the Quality characters in the 1950s, and he was used as a supporting character in Justice League of America in the 1970s. This established Uncle Sam as the leader of the Freedom Fighters, a team of former Quality characters that briefly received its own title.[1] This team was initially based on a parallel world called Earth-X, where World War II had lasted into the 1970s.
Uncle Sam's origin was rewritten somewhat in The Spectre, where Uncle Sam is described as a spiritual entity created through an occult ritual by the Founding Fathers. This "Spirit of America" was initially bound to a powerful talisman and would take physical form by merging with a dying patriot. The new origin states that the Spirit of America had taken human form as the Minute-Man during the Revolutionary War, Brother Jonathan in later conflicts and, during the American Civil War, had been split in two as Johnny Reb and Billy Yank.
Mr Eastwood needs no reasons why he would be perfect, I just wish he'd do it of couse, seems born for the comic book role.
Geoff Stults as The Shield:
Joe Higgins: The origin of The Shield was in Shield-Wizard Comics #1 (Summer 1940). He is really chemist Joe Higgins, the son of Lieutenant Tom Higgins who was slain by German saboteur, Hans Fritz in the Black Tom explosion, for which Tom was blamed while working on a chemical formula for super-strength which the Nazis were after. After his death, son Joe continued to work on it while continuing his studies of chemistry. Joe finally figured out the solution, which meant applying the chemicals to certain parts of his anatomy: Sacrum, Heart, Innervation, Eyes, Lungs, Derma, and using x-rays to give him super strength, being able to make great leaps, and invulnerability. The initials also gave him his name. His white costume becomes the familiar colours under the process. He became an FBI agent (whose secret identity is known only to FBI Chief J. Edgar Hoover) after clearing his father's name, and fought foreign agents and other threats to America.
Hilarie Burton as American Dream:
The niece of S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Sharon Carter, Shannon Carter grew up idolizing Captain America. She was hired by Edwin Jarvis as a tour guide for the Avengers Headquarters, at that time functioning only as a museum. When the new Avengers team was formed, she was determined to join. She wears a costume based on Captain America's and carries on her arms disc weapons resembling miniature versions of his shield. Her strength and agility are honed by intensive physical training. After joining the team as the American Dream, Shannon soon proved herself to be an effective Avenger, and when the team saved the original Avengers from a dark parallel world, Captain America himself judged her worthy to wield the shield of the alternate Captain. She also proved to be an important character in defeating Galactus in the Last Planet Standing limited series. She along with Stinger and Spider-Girl took down Galactus from the inside. They survived the imminent explosion by shrinking to microscopic size.
Carter is the leader of the "Dream Team" comprising herself, Bluestreak, Crimson Curse and Freebooter. All members of the Dream Team became members of the new Avengers team in A-Next #4. American Dream is also an ally of Spider-Girl, Earth Sentry, Blacklight, Coal Tiger, Argo and Captain America.
Gina Torres as Skyrocket:
Lt. Celia Forrestal was getting nowhere fast in the U.S. Navy. It wasn't because she wasn't qualified. As a Navy Aviator, she could outmaneuver anybody. But because of her gender and her race, her career remained stalled as a training instructor. Looking for some perspective while she considered leaving the service, she visited her parents, scientists and owners of Argo Technologies. Mr. and Mrs. Forrestal had developed a personal harness that could absorb, convert and redirect energy. The Forrestals conceived the harness as a tool for peace, but it also had great potential as a weapon of mass destruction.
Scorpio: This invention, called an Argo Harness, drew unwanted attention from a mercenary group of terrorists-for-hire called Scorpio. Scorpio was a well-equipped organization always on the look out for advanced technology that could easily be weaponized. They attempted to steal the Argo Harness, but during their attack, an untimely explosion killed the Forrestals.
Argo Harness: Celia survived the explosion that killed her parents because she was wearing the Argo Harness, and she later used it to capture some of the Scorpio operatives who had caused their deaths. Acting on a suggestion from Green Lantern Hal Jordan, who identified with her because of her background as a pilot, she decided to continue crimefighting as the superhero Skyrocket.
James Franco as American Son:
American Son takes place during the Dark Reign event. The story tells about the personal war between Spider-Man and Norman Osborn.
In the aftermath of Siege, there will be a four-issue mini-series called Amazing Spider-Man presents: American Son.
After the Fall of Norman Osborn, the American Son armor is stolen by whom authorities believe to be Harry Osborn, but has no true link to peg him to it other than the fact that the suit can only be used by someone with an Osborn Lineage. He has started abusing of drugs. Harry is later visited by Gabriel Stacy who shoots him in anger for believing that Norman gave him a better life.
Well no brainer really, Franco is Harry Osborn, well for this take anyways and what an amazing actor, not just in "Spider-man" but "Pinapple Express" too amoungs't others.
Jeffery Dean Morgan as The Comedian:
The Comedian is Edward Morgan Blake, who began his vigilante career in the late 1930s as a teenager. Over the years, he became a patriotic hero for the United States. The Comedian was based on the Charlton Comics character Peacemaker, with elements of the Marvel Comics spy character Nick Fury added. Moore and Gibbons saw The Comedian as "a kind of Gordon Liddy character, only a much bigger, tougher guy". Gibbons went with a Groucho Marx-style appearance (moustache and cigar) for the Comedian in his design, deciding that the "clown" look had already been appropriated by DC Comics' Joker. His costume itself was noted by Gibbons as being particularly problematic, he was initially designed with a more militaristic costume which was later dropped for a black leather outfit with a "rapist mask". He believes that humans are savage in nature, and that civilization can never be more than an idea. He therefore chooses to become a mockery of society, fighting and killing without reservation.
Well no one can or should replace Jeffery Dean Morgan, and no one could lets be honest here, he owned that part!
Jessica Lowndes as Miss America:
Pre-Crisis history: Miss America is originally Joan Dale, a courageous reporter who had a dream in which the Statue of Liberty appeared to her and, giving her the power to transmute elements, instructed her to battle evil. Joan awakes to find that she now has these powers; adopting a patriotically-themed costume, she begins fighting evil as Miss America.
Post-Crisis History: In the post-Crisis on Infinite Earths continuity, in the late spring of 1941 on Liberty Island, reporter Joan Dale has a dream that the Statue of Liberty comes to life and grants her the power to alter the nature of matter. Inspired by the dream, she creates a colorful costume and becomes Miss America, one of America's first heroines. In truth, she had been abducted by the top secret government agency, Project M, and her powers were actually the result of a secret experiment. They believed the experiment to be a failure and had returned her to whence she had been taken, leaving her none the wiser. (Military Comics #1, Secret Origins #26)
Jessica Biel as Lady Liberty:
Lady Liberty is a member of the Force of July, a government sponsored superhero team. She first appeared in Batman and the Outsiders Annual #1 (1984). Her costume consists of robes and a crown based on the Statue of Liberty, and she speaks with a French accent. Although not explored fully, it is alluded to in comics that she is romantically involved with Major Victory (William Vickers). Her real identity is never revealed.
All the Lady Liberties carry a torch that allows them to fire energy beams. The first Lady Liberty had latent psychic powers that were focused by the torch; all the other Lady Liberties rely solely on their torch to fire the energy beams.
Biel would be cool as Wonder Woman but come on, how good would she look using that torch lol. Seriously though, I reckon she good do a fine job in this comic book heroine role.
Jensen Ackles as Ultimate Captain America:
Steve Rogers started off as a frail volunteer for scientific experimenting on behalf of the U.S. government. He underwent extensive surgery and steroid treatment and training to become Captain America and fighting the Nazis during World War II. He would eventually come into battle with Herr Kleiser, who introduced a prototype atomic bomb and intercontinental missile that were made with alien (Chitauri) technology meant to target the White House. However they were too late to stop the process from commencing, but Captain America managed to get to the missile as it launched. In a successful attempt to stop it in mid air, he fell into the North Atlantic and was presumed dead.
Years after, the body of Captain America was found in the Arctic Ocean frozen in a block of ice. It was as if he hadn't aged a day. It is unknown whether it was due to cryogenic preservation or the super soldier serum that prevented him from aging. Initially he thought S.H.I.E.L.D. was a group of Nazi soldiers who had captured him, but eventually realized that he was in a different time. He found out his best friend Bucky Barnes was now married to his fiancée and that all his loved ones were dead.
After catching up to his new era, the Ultimates were faced with the dilemma of Bruce Banner deliberately becoming the Hulk. Rogers was able to stagger and stop the Hulk briefly in combat. When he was about to inject the Hulk with the antidote, Hulk made a surprise attack and broke the needle and then began beating Cap until Thor came to the rescue. After Hulk had reverted back to Banner, Cap knocked him out and had him taken back to the Triskelion.
Captain America soon discovered that his nemesis, Herr Kleiser had survived World War II and was a Chitauri soldier. This was why he would always seem to survive, Cap saying that he has killed Kleiser "twice". When Kleiser resurfaced, Cap and he resumed their rivalry from 60 years back. When the Hulk was dropped into their battle, Cap convinced Hulk that Kleiser was hitting on Betty, causing Hulk to mutilate then eat Herr Kleiser.
Shock horror don't faint, I've picked Jensen Ackles lol, seriously I've always seen him as Ultimate Cap, just not the 616 version (oh and Hawkeye, heh heh).
Joanna Krupa as Miss Victory:
Miss Victory (later Ms. Victory): Real Name: Joan Wayne, Powers: Superhuman strength, flight, invulnerability. Based on the original Golden Age Miss Victory.
Miss Victory was secretly stenographer Joan Wayne, whose work in a Government department, coupled with her desire to help the war effort, led her to don the patriotic guise of Miss Victory: a tight-fitting, red-white-and-blue costume with a plunging neckline and a V emblem across her chest.
The 1984-revival version also possesses superhuman strength, as well as the ability to fly over short distances. Her true identity is Dr. Joan Wayne, a research scientist in the United States Department of Defense, who in the 1940s developed the "V-47 formula" to increase the strength/stamina of allied troops. The formula, however, only worked on Joan herself, and she became a superheroine. The formula also prevented her from aging, so that the Ms. Victory of today is still a young, attractive woman.
Ms. Victory received an overdose of the V-45 formula from the Black Commando which affects her personality, transforming her into the villainous Rad. Eventually, the V-45 formula was removed from her system and returned to Femforce. In the mid 1990s, Wayne temporarily resigned her leadership of Femforce, and was replaced by her grown daughter Jennifer, the only other person on whom the V-formula would work. Jennifer is usually referred to as the second Ms. Victory and the second Rad. In addition to her daughter, Ms. Victory's family consists of fellow hero Captain Paragon and a cloned son of the couple created by an enemy.
Joanna has done many things TV and movies including "CSI" and "Las Vegas," I have not seen her in much granted, but what I have seen her in impressed me a lot. Her next movie not yet out is "Six Days in Paradise" and hey she'd make a great Miss Victory, come on!
John Krasinski as Major Glory:
The Justice Friends (from Dexter's Laboratory) consist of Major Glory, The Infraggable Krunk, and Valhallen, who are all roommates who live in an apartment complex. Most of the adventures of The Justice Friends deal with the three trying to balance out their superhero adventures while just trying to keep their composure living in the house. Most of these adventures play out like a sitcom along with a laugh track, used in a satirical manner. The segment's title likely derives from the DC Comics superhero organization The Justice League and its sanitized animated cartoon version, Super Friends, though the team itself is clearly a parody of Marvel Comics's Avengers title (itself the Marvel equivalent to the Justice League). The three main characters are based on Marvel Comics characters, Major Glory being based on Captain America (though his powers roughly mirror those of Superman), the Infraggable Krunk being based on Hulk, and Valhallen being based on Thor, each of whom belonged to the original Avengers comic team. Valhallen's name is a portmanteau of Valhalla, the spiritual plane of Norse mythology, and Van Halen, an American rock band. Valhallen frequently refers to himself as the "Viking God of Rock".
Yeah could have been Cap and thank gawd he wasn't but hey I'd be cool for John to have this patriotic part, hey he even looks a little cartoony, plus great actor, just check out the TV show "The Office."
Joel Gretsch as The Spirit of '76:
William Naslund was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. An athletic young man, hoping to help the Allies' World War II efforts in a unique way, he develops exceptional fighting skills and learns to copy some of moves Captain America employed with the discus-like shield that the superhero carried. He is recruited by a mysterious man called "Alfie" to become a costumed hero in the new team of adventurers called the Crusaders, alongside Dyna-Mite, Ghost Girl, Thunderfist, Captain Wings, and Tommy Lightning. The team eventually learns that Alfie is a German agent, but not before he has manipulated them into fighting the Allied super-team the Invaders. Upon learning how they had been duped, all the Crusaders but Naslund left costumed adventuring.
Julia Voth as Wonder Wonder:
Wonder Woman is a member of an all-female tribe of Amazons (based on the Amazons of Greek mythology), created by Marston as a "distinctly feminist role model whose mission was to bring the Amazon ideals of love, peace, and sexual equality to 'a world torn by the hatred of men.'" Her powers include super strength, super speed, stamina, and flight. She is highly proficient in hand-to-hand combat and in the art of tactical warfare. She also possesses an animal-like cunning and a natural rapport with animals, which has in the past been presented as an actual ability to communicate with the animal kingdom. She uses her Magic Lasso (which forces those bound by it to tell the truth), and a pair of indestructible bracelets.
Voth blew me away in "Bitch Slap" not a great movie but she owned her part and right at the end, amazing fight stuff from the gal. I thought I should use a fresh pick and I pick her, she can easily put the Wonder Woman gear on and you will believe. Yes still want also Jodi Lynn O'keefe for the role, oh and Lucy Griffiths too, hmm I wonder why lol?
Jon Hamm as Savior:
Hamm can play nearly any superhero role in my book, why not Savior too. Just watch "Mad Men" great actor!
Leo Decaprio as Fighting American:
The original Fighting American has been called "the Doctor Strangelove of comic books". It began as a serious attempt at a "Commie-smasher" comic, but after disappointing initial sales, Simon and Kirby turned the magazine into a pastiche, deliberately overdoing Fighting American's attitudes; despite this change, the title was cancelled after seven issues.
The character was similar to war-era Captain America (aside from his jingoisticly patriotic attitude), wore a similar flag-inspired costume, and worked with a youthful sidekick, Speedboy, but didn't use a shield. Nelson Flagg was the timid younger brother of star athlete and war hero, Johnny Flagg. After suffering a crippling injury during the war, Johnny later becomes a popular news commentator and stumbles upon a Communist plot to "overthrow the government." He is struck down before he can reveal it to the world, and Nelson makes a deathbed promise to hunt down his brother's murderers. Due to super technology provided by the U.S. military under the code name "Project Fighting American," Johnny's corpse is strengthened and revitalized. Nelson agrees to switch bodies by having his mind transferred via "life force probers." Following the operation, Nelson assumes both his brother's identity of Johnny Flagg and the dual persona of the Fighting American.
Leo in my book could have been a very decent serious Captain America, so I reckon he's more than qualified to play this DC comics patriotic superhero, would love to see that!
Josh Duhamel as The All American:
All-American (Jack Magniconte), who has also been called Mr. Magnificent is a fictional character published in the New Universe imprint of Marvel Comics. He was the central figure of Kickers, Inc., and when that title was discontinued he became a supporting character in other New Universe titles. When the New Universe was brought into the mainstream Marvel Universe, he was one of the characters featured.
Jack Magniconte was the star quarterback for the New York Smashers, dubbed "Mr. Magnificent" by the press. His brother Steve (who had raised him) designed a machine to enhance muscle mass and borrowed money from a loan shark to build the device. Jack was one of the people who was affected by the radiation of the "White Event" -- a then-unexplained cosmic event which caused a small percentage of the human race to develop superhuman powers. Jack's powers, however, did not manifest until he volunteered to test his brother's "intensifier." Upon first exposure, Jack's hair turned white and his muscle-mass and stamina were increased to a superhuman level.
Josh ain't a bad actor, just not used enough, I can see him taking up an all American superhero role like this, oh yeah.
Mahershalalhashbaz Ali as Batterstar:
Lemar Hoskins was born in Chicago, Illinois. He was once a soldier who, along with his army buddies John Walker, Hector Lennox, and Jerome Johnson was given superhuman strength by Dr. Karl Malus on behalf of the Power Broker, and they all became wrestlers. The four later formed the Bold Urban Commandos (also known as the "BUCkies"), and were employed by John Walker, now known as the Super-Patriot. The Buckies staged a fake attack on the Super-Patriot for publicity, and battle Captain America. As a Bucky, Lemar also attacked a group of foreign students.
Check out "4400" like dude is amazing, love his acting style and he's a big guy too, he'd own Battlestar.
Josh Hartnett as Silver Agent:
Silver Agent — an armored vigilante who suffered a tragic fate, hinted at for years and finally revealed as having been convicted and executed by the law, on false evidence. Active from 1956 through the early 1970s and now deceased. A founding member of Honor Guard. Portrays the patriotic hero archetype. He embodies and is even named after the Silver Age of Comic Books.
Yes can't see Josh much as any superhero but for some reason he screams Silver Agent, just read a Astro City comic with him in it, he's just too darn perfect for this role its unreal, fantastic character by the way, if you havn't read any Astro City, your missing out!
Mark Valley as Earth X Captain America:
Captain America is 100 years old. He has become a broken, haunted man who struggles to maintain hope in defending the city. He bears an A-shaped scar on his forehead.
Talking forehead's Valley is perfect lol, but seriously who else but him could pull off this role. Check out "Human Target."
Kristin Chenoweth as Yankee Poodle:
Yankee Poodle (real name Rova Barkitt) is a fictional character in the DC Comics universe, an anthropomorphic poodle. Yankee Poodle is a superhero who lived on the otherdimensional world of Earth-C (now Earth-26), an alternate Earth populated by sentient animals. Her first appearance was in The New Teen Titans #16 (February 1982).
Rova's name is a play on the name of gossip columnist Rona Barrett, while "Yankee Poodle" is a takeoff on the song "Yankee Doodle."
While interviewing movie actor Byrd Rentals in his Follywood home, Rova was struck by a meteor fragment (which was launched toward Earth by the villain Starro the Conqueror); the result gave her the superpowers of "animal magnetism", as she described them. Joining with Byrd (who was also transformed by a separate meteor fragment), the two teamed up with other superpowered animals affected by the meteor; together, the group defeated Starro (with the aid of Superman), and decided to form the superhero team called the Zoo Crew.

Matt Damon as Agent Liberty:
Agent Liberty's real name is Benjamin Lockwood. He once worked for the CIA but ultimately left in disgust with their methods and the types of missions he was being asked to undertake. He later became so disenchanted with the Federal Government as a whole that he joined the paramilitary group called the Sons Of Liberty, who outfitted him with the costume and weaponry he uses as Agent Liberty. In the beginning, Lockwood used his Agent Liberty guise to help the Sons' stated cause of overturning the current governmental regime, which brought him into conflict with Superman; however, when the Sons' leadership asked him to perform an assassination of politician Pete Ross, Lockwood refused, and left the Sons to go solo. During his time working with the Sons, Agent Liberty also briefly assisted the Justice League against the villain Brainiac in the crossover Panic in the Sky.
Matt a hell yes for this DC character, he put the grit in and keep any camp out, serious actor that would make this character fantastic!
Lee Thompson as Young Patriot:
The second Marvel Universe character to use the name Patriot debuted in Young Avengers #1 (April 2005): Eli Bradley, grandson of Isaiah Bradley, the black Captain America. Isaiah had received his powers (in the limited series Truth: Red, White & Black) as part of an early Super Soldier Serum experiment tested on African-American men in an attempt reproduce the formula lost after being used to turn Steve Rogers into Captain America. Eli's mother was conceived before Isaiah's involvement with the experiment, however, so Eli could not have inherited his grandfather's powers genetically.
JoshW got this pick and totally agree, not only is this actor great as Cyborg in "Smallville" he knocks the ball outta the park when he was on "Flashforward." So yeah he is Patriot.
Matthew Fox as Patriot:
(Rising Stars) Great series, I own the whole set, Matthew Fox would be an incredible Patriot!
Liz Vassey as Captain Liberty:
Captain Liberty is one of the main characters in The Tick live action show, played by Liz Vassey. She is apparently a parody of mainstream superheroes like Captain America and Wonder Woman, much like American Maid from the animated series. She is employed by the CIA and frequently teams up with The Tick, Batmanuel, and Arthur to fight crime. Due to the show's budget constraints, she is rarely seen actually fighting crime, much more frequently seen after the fight is over or in the super hero bar the four spend much of their time together in.
She is also in an on again off again relationship with Batmanuel whom she disdains but can't seem to stop having sex with; Batmanuel often addresses her as "Janet". She describes her relationship with him as being "only a physical thing", and that the relationship "wasn't gonna go anywhere" due to the fact that all they do is have sex. Her attempt to date a non-super man failed once he discovered her super hero identity. Her brief affair with a celebrity hero called the Immortal resulted in his untimely and ironic death, after which she found out she was not his first conquest.
One of the best comic live-action shows ever made, real shame and of course only Liz is Captain Liberty.
Matthew McConaughey as Fighting Yank:
Bruce Carter III obtained his superhuman powers when the ghost of his ancestor Bruce Carter I, a hero from the American War of Independence, appeared to him and showed him the location of a magical cloak that could give the wearer invulnerability and super strength. Only Carter III's girlfriend, Joan Farwell, knows of his dual identity.
Along with this magical cloak, Fighting Yank's outfit also included a tri-corner hat, square buckles, an American flag on his chest, a white shirt, and blue pants.
McConaughey, yep why not lol.
Mark Dacascos as Superpatriot:
SuperPatriot was once Johnny Armstrong, a soldier in World War II. Captured by the Germans, Armstrong was used as a guinea pig for scientific experiments and gained superhuman powers. He destroyed the base at which he was being kept so the Nazis could not replicate the process on their troops and donned an American flag-styled costume to become SuperPatriot. SuperPatriot later joined the superhero group called the Allies, working with such figures as Supreme and Mighty Man, and protected the innocent for many decades.
However, in the 1990s, SuperPatriot was faced with more brutal and intense supervillains than ever before and began to have difficulty dealing with them. Eventually, he was overpowered by members of the Vicious Circle, a group of supervillains organized by Chicago crime-boss Overlord. SuperPatriot was savagely attacked by his foes, with the shark-man Mako biting off his limbs and much of his face. Left for dead, SuperPatriot's body was taken by Cyberdata, a corporation of subversive scientists, and transformed into a powerful cyborg.
Mark although Asian would be the best Superpatriot (plus always be wearing the mask) has the moves and the style to pull this character off, besides would love to see him in action again, who wouldn't.
Michael Fishman as Minute-man:
Named after the minutemen of the American Revolution and sporting an American flag-inspired costume, he was originally published by Fawcett Comics. Along with other Fawcett characters, he was purchased by DC Comics, and made brief appearances in the Shazam! comics in 1976, and the Power of Shazam! comic in 1995 and 1996.
During World War II, Jack Weston is an army private in prime physical condition who dons a patriotic costume and becomes the Minute-Man, a "One Man Army" who combats enemy agents. His double identity is known to his superior officer General Milton, who sends the Minute-Man on unsanctioned missions behind enemy lines. Minute-Man serves as a member of a group of local Fawcett City heroes, the Crime Crusaders Club.
Prior to DC Comics' Crisis on Infinite Earths miniseries, Minute-Man was said to exist on the parallel Earth-S, home of the Fawcett heroes. He makes his first appeerence in Shazam when he rescues Billy from Mr Mind and the Rainbow squad. In this incarnation, the character was also a member of the Squadron of Justice, a team of Fawcett characters who joined forces with the Justice League and Justice Society. He was incorporated into the mainstream DC Universe in the wake of the Crisis.

Michelle Monaghan as Miss America:
Marvel version: Socially aware heiress Madeline Joyce was born in Washington, D.C., and was the niece and ward of radio mogul James Bennet, who was sponsoring a Professor Lawson, a scientist claiming to have gotten superpowers through a device that had been struck by lightning. Joyce, secretly tampering with the contraption during a thunderstorm that night, herself gained the ability to fly and great strength after lightning similarly struck, knocking her unconscious (she originally had superhuman strength, as well as other powers, but after her few early appearances they were retconned). The panicky scientist, seeing the apparently dead young woman, destroyed the device and then killed himself. Joyce survived to fight crime as the patriotically garbed Miss America.
Who better than Michelle Monaghan to play super-sexy superhero Miss America, great actress and as a bonus she has that certain 1940's look and feel to her, perfect!
Mike Vogel as The American:
The American is comic book series published in 1987 by Dark Horse Comics and written by Mark Verheiden.
The American continued for eight regular issues, a special, a mini-series, and occasional stories in anthologies, until the mid-1990s. A collection of all his appearances was published in 2005.
Patrick Flueger as Citizen (Commander) Steel:
Henry Heywood: The World War II version of the character, Henry Heywood, enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps prior to their involvement in the war, but was injured when saboteurs attacked his base spearheaded by the man who would become Baron Blitzkrieg. Heywood had been a biology student under the tutelage of Doctor Gilbert Giles, and his former professor performed extensive surgery on him, enhancing his damaged body with mechanized steel devices that gave him superhuman strength, speed and durability. At the request of Doctor Giles, Heywood kept his newfound gifts a secret, and was returned to service in a desk position. Frustrated at his inability to help more directly, Heywood adopted the masked-hero persona "Steel", and was attempting to steal armaments from the military base where he worked -- to send to those more directly in the war's fray -- when some fifth columnist saboteurs broke into the base. Heywood defeated the saboteurs, and embarked on a career fighting foreign threats and other criminals before America went to war.
This actor was great on the show "4400" it was a little like "Heroes" before "Heroes" was even about. I loved the show and this acter has the chops to pull Steel off, so yeah he is Citizen/Commander Steel!
Robert Buckley as General Glory:
Joseph Jones was a soldier in World War II who was granted superior abilities by Lady Liberty herself upon saying the words:
"Lady of Liberty, hear my plea —
For the land of the brave —
And home of the free!"
He became a government agent, under the authority of an Agent Newkirk Sharp. Sharp arranged for "General Glory" comic books to be published, so that people would believe he was a fictional character. In England, his adventures were published in the pages of Tuppenny Fun.
As with Marvel Comics' Captain America, General Glory disappeared in an Arctic mission. Rather than be encased in ice, however, he returned to America with little memory of his past. He would later learn that Sharp had drugged him and given him a new identity.
Peter Porte as Super-Patriot:
Super-Patriot was first seen staging a political rally in New York City, protesting the immigration policies of the United States. His speech labeled American officials who allow foreigners on American soil as "traitors", and encouraged American citizens to overthrow the government. Agents of the anti-terrorist organization S.H.I.E.L.D. came on the scene to arrest Super-Patriot for his refusal of a federal subpoena, and the conflict quickly devolved into a gun battle between the two, from which Super-Patriot ultimately escaped unscathed.
Super-Patriot are two supervillains in the universe of Marvel Comics and a hero. The first was an enemy of Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D.. John Walker, who later became Captain America then later U.S. Agent, used the name Super-Patriot to rival Captain America then tapped by the Commission on Superhuman Activities to replace Steve Rogers as Captain America then adopted the moniker, U.S. Agent. Later, Mike Farrell, a former neighbor of Steve Rogers, became Super-Patriot and allied himself with Dead Ringer.
Sarah Silverman as American Maid:
American Maid is quite noble in character, and unlike most of the "good" characters featured in the series, she is actually relatively effective as a superhero. Having no superpowers, she relies on her Olympic-level trained acrobatic skills. Her only weapons are her stiletto high-heels and her tiara, both of which she can fling with great accuracy and effectiveness and which can boomerang back to her. But she is also adept at improvising everyday items such as chairs and plates in taking down enemies. American Maid has made many more appearances on the series than any other female character. She is often heard yelling the recurring line, "You'll never get away with this, [current villain]!"
Ryan McPartlin as Steel:
Hank Heywood III: The second Steel was the late Henry "Hank" Heywood III, grandson to Commander Steel who, as a wealthy industrialist, incorporated the same mechanized components into his grandson much to his grandson's disapproval. Heywood III was a "Justice League Detroit" team member, and was mortally wounded in battle against an android belonging to one of the team's classic foes, Professor Ivo. His body remained preserved in the JLA Bunker until it was discovered and destroyed by Despero.
Although it was originally stated that Heywood performed unnecessary surgeries on his grandson, it was later revealed in Justice League of America #260 that if he hadn't made his grandson into Steel, "Hank would have been dead... years ago."
Mcatlin would have been a great Captain America, but shame we will never see it, so I say [frick] Marvel and go to DC lol. Steel's a great patriotic superhero that was in the JLA, McParlin would bring the character alive, check out "Chuck" to see what I'm on about, he is Steel.
Scott Porter as The Star Spangled Kid:
The original Star-Spangled Kid was Sylvester Pemberton, a Golden Age character. He became the Star-Spangled Kid in order to battle Nazi spies and fifth columnists during World War II. He was unique in that he was a kid superhero who operated with an adult sidekick, Stripesy a.k.a. Pat Dugan. Both he and Dugan were superb acrobats and had sufficient training in hand-to-hand combat. They devised a series of acrobatic maneuvers that allowed them to build upon one another's strengths, the Kid's agility and Dugan's strength. They also built the Star Rocket Racer, a bubble-topped limousine with the functions of a rocket and helicopter.
The Kid and Stripesy were members of the Seven Soldiers of Victory as well as the All-Star Squadron. In 1948, Pemberton and Dugan were joined by Merry, the Girl of 1000 Gimmicks, who supplanted The Kid and Stripsey from their own feature.
The Seven Soldiers were lost in time in 1950 and rescued decades later by the Justice League of America and the Justice Society of America. Sylvester then joined the JSA, at which time a then-injured Starman loaned him his cosmic rod (it was later revealed that Starman wanted the young man to become his heir as neither of his sons expressed interest in carrying the mantle). Soon afterwards, the Kid refined the technology of the rod, devising a belt with similar powers such as energy projection, flight and matter transmutation. Eventually Sylvester temporarily retired from superheroics to reclaim his inheritance and his father's business, plus movie studio Stellar Studios, from his corrupt nephew, who was using those funds to run his own evil organization, Strike Force. In addition, he patched up his long-neglected relationship with Dugan and later became the hero known as Skyman post-Crisis after founding the heroic group known as Infinity Inc.
Tahmoh Penikett as Samaritan:
Samaritan is a fictional character in the comic book series Astro City. In the dystopian future of the 35th century, a man was selected to go back in time to prevent a catastrophic event whose consequences ultimately ruined the future world. Launched into the timestream, he was caught up in empyrean fire, the strands of energy that make up time itself. Crash-landing near Astro City in late 1985, he spent the remainder of the year learning to master the empyrean forces that had suffused his body, and to alter it to change back to a more normal appearance (the empyrean forces had changed his hair to a bright shade of blue). Desperately working to control his powers, he succeeded barely in time to prevent the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster, the event he had been sent to amend. Upon placing the Challenger on the ground, he was besieged by the media, who pressed him for details on himself. Briefly dismissing himself as just "a Good Samaritan", he departed immediately to better figure things out.
Penikett owned in "Battlestar Galactica" and if you still havn't watched that, do your missing out on golden TV. Love me Astro City comics and Penikett would make an awesome Samaritan.
Taylor Swift as Stargirl:
Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E: Courtney Whitmore, stepdaughter of Pat Dugan, finds the original Star-Spangled Kid's gear in her stepfather's belongings and dons the costume in order to annoy him as partial revenge for marrying her mother and supposedly forcing the family to move from Los Angeles to Blue Valley, Nebraska. Dugan, a skilled mechanic, designs and builds S.T.R.I.P.E., a robotic suit which he rides in to accompany and protect her.
Eventually, Courtney joins the Justice Society of America and, after being given Starman Jack Knight's cosmic staff, changes her identity to Stargirl.
Okay, I know shes a singer, but shes a good little actress to was in a few CSI episodes and I like her acting style, was in a movie too called Valentine's Day not seen that though yet.
Tom Cruise as Mister America:
Jeffrey Graves was a Special Agent who worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. His former partner, Trey Thompson was currently working as the superhero Mr. America, who Jeffrey supplied information to about the crimes that went on so Trey could investigate them alongside the FBI. Jeffrey was the only one who knew about Trey's secret identity and he had to pretend to not know Mr. America. However, when Trey's family was murdered, he revealed his identity to the FBI.[1] This had caused Jeffrey to lose his job for supplying information to Trey, as Trey used to be with the FBI until he took vengeance on a murderer. When Trey was then murdered, Jeffrey, while cleaning out his office, took out Mr. America's costume and put his mask on.
Hey Tom's Mister America in real life, so why not lol.
Terry Crews as Isaiah Bradley:
Project: Rebirth began as a collaboration between US, British and German eugenicists led by Dr. "Josef Reinstein" (real name Dr. Wilfred Nagel), and Dr. Koch. When World War II began, Koch took over the German program and Josef Reinstein took over the American program. Each was attempting to recreate the super soldier serum which had previously turned Steve Rogers into Captain America a year prior to Pearl Harbor. Reinstein's early attempts to refine the formula were tested on African-Americans. Three hundred of these soldiers were taken from Camp Cathcart and subjected to potentially fatal experiments at an undisclosed location in an attempt to re-create the Super Soldier formula, as seen in Truth: Red, White & Black. Only five subjects survived the original trials. In the name of secrecy, US soldiers executed the camp's commander and hundreds of black soldiers left behind at Camp Cathcart. The government told the families of the three hundred subjects that their loved ones had died in battle.
Yes I like Crews as an older Luke Cage but he would own as Bradley, so would Will Smith for that matter. Hopefully we'll one day see him in live-action!

Yeah Travis has what it takes to play a patriotic superhero. Was in the new Friday the 13th but I wont hold him against that, he was pretty good, plus seen him in a couple of other things, I reckon he's an up and comer!
Willem Dafoe as Iron Patriot:
During the events of the "Dark Reign", Osborn created a new identity, the Iron Patriot (an amalgam of Captain America and Iron Man), to cement his standing as a hero. As the Iron Patriot, he utilized a version of Iron Man's armor. The armor featured superhuman strength, enhanced durability via a pliable crystalline material with a molecular structure that can collimate into super-hard planes upon the application of an electrical field, flight, magnetic impact blasts, heat seeking missiles, miniaturized lasers, flamethrowers, and a communications system housed in his helmet which allowed him to interface with any U.S.-controlled satellite or computer network. While the original Iron Man armor utilized repulsor technology, Osborn's design does not; Stark destroyed all but one repulsor, and stated that "Oz is too stupid" to make his own repulsor-based weapons system. The star shaped Uni Beam projector on his chest also, because of its shape, has a less powerful output than that of the original Iron Man model.
What can I say, Dafoe is Norman Osborn, maybe not the power Ranger suit but still lol, he was amazing and I hope if we get Norman again the reboot, he'll be half as good and we've got a great Goblin. Anyway Dafoe will always be Norman Osborn to me and would be awesome as Iron Patriot!
Wentworth Miller as US Agent:
John Walker was born in the fictional town of Custer's Grove, Georgia. He grew up idolizing his older brother, Mike. Mike was a soldier and helicopter pilot who died in the Vietnam War. John wanted to honor his brother's memory by enlisting in the military, becoming a soldier himself.
After John received an honorary discharge from the United States Marine Corps, he was told by a friend about the Power Broker, a mysterious individual who gave people superhuman abilities. Walker and his friend received the treatment, which granted the gifts of superhuman physical power.
What can I say, Wentworth Miller an amazing actor would so own John Walker, not many other actors come close, just check out stuff like "Prison Break" a great show, oh and he's next up in the new "Resident Evil" movie, which is out soon.
Ray Liotta as Kingdom Come Superman:
Ten years prior to the start of the events of Kingdom Come, the Joker floods the offices of the Daily Planet with Joker venom killing all the staff except for Lois Lane, who finds a gas mask. Lois tries then to attack the Joker who fractures her skull in retaliation. Superman returns as Lois succumbs to her injuries and dies soon after. As the Joker arrives for his trial, he is killed by a new superhero named Magog. In an instance of jury nullification, Magog is acquitted for his cold-blooded act and Superman is appalled by the public embracing a killer as a hero. Already disheartened at the death of Lois Lane, Kal-El abandons his life as Superman, retreating to his Fortress of Solitude where he spends the next decade. During Superman's absence a team of new heroes, lead by Magog, attempts to capture the Parasite, which results in the irradiation of the entire state of Kansas and much of the surrounding area.
Coaxed back into action by Wonder Woman, Superman decides to return to Metropolis and re-form the Justice League. He manages to collect former heroes (including Green Lantern, the Flash, Hawkman, and Dick Grayson, now known as Red Robin, among others) and as well as some of the newer heroes who had risen during his absence.
Not the first actor you'd think to play Superman, but in a Kingdom Come movie he's near perfect. He's got that old chiseled look and just a change of the voice (He is an actor you know), you will believe a man can fly (again) so yes, Ray Liotta is Superman!
Jamie Fox as Deathlok (Michael Collins):
Professor Michael Collins was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was an African American pacifist and family man working for the Roxxon Oil cybernetics corporation Cybertek, whose brain was transplanted against his will into a robotic killing machine by agents of Harlan Ryker. The machine was used against rebels fighting against Roxxon's influence in the fictional South American country of Estrella.
Although his brain was intended to serve only as a medium for the robot's programming, he was able to assert his will over it (installing a "no-killing parameter" into its programming). The computer is fully willing to listen to Collins, though he must take care to present his orders in a way that helps fulfill the mission and keep people from dying. The computer is fully capable of understanding distinct concepts, such as bluffing, as when Collins is forced to pretend to take a hostage.
He met Jesus Badalamente, and helped the rebels as soon as he could, though of course they did not initially trust him. Roxxon utilized giant robot ants against Collins and his allies, though the robot's scanners were able to find weaknesses. The rebels soon came to trust Collins. The leader even tries to save Collins with his own dropped gun, though he learns it does not work for anyone but Collins. Collins also battles Mainframe.
Collins learns that his human body was still alive, and encounters Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. Harlan Ryker hides Collins's human body. Collins aids Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. in preventing a nuclear strike on the United States.
Jamie Fox the new Deathlok, and I reckon he more than up to take on the part, the guy is a great actor and is top quality, fantastic in "Collateral." Academy Award and BAFTA winner, I think he'd bring depth to this Marvel character which we will need.
LEEE777 - Well hope you liked it and yeah I put a few different variations of Captain America and Superman up there but only a couple of the main ones. If i did them all though it'll be a very long list lol, so thats why theres a couple. Oh yeah, Lucy Lawless for Kingdom Come Wonder Woman btw.
