THE MOVIE THE DIRECTOR
J.J Abrams is the perfect choice for a GL film. He is the Steven Spielberg or George Lucas (70’s 80’s version at least) of our time. He makes amazing films that are visually stunning. I wouldn’t mind some lens flares in a GL movie. If not him then Joseph Krosinski (Tron Legacy)
THE WRITERS
Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci have teamed up for about every single movie/tv series they have ever written. Look at their credits on IMDB, they are the exact same! They are behind the Stark Trek films, the Transformers films, the Fringe TV series, the Locke & Key comic book television movie adaption, TASM 2 and much more.
OA
This is my description of Oa. A futuristic type planet full of aliens of all different types. Home of the green Lantern corp. All of the power is fueled by the energy from central power battery, which also powers the Green Lanterns rings. If the core stops all of the power is gone. Its buildings are all in shades of green, but they are not constructs from any of the Lanterns since those could easily be taken down. In the center of Oa is a stadium where all of the GL Corps go to say the Oath at once.br>
CONSTRUCTS
I want the constructs to be original and not overused. Maybe why’ll Hal is training he might reuse a lot of constructs, but he should grow out of it. (I got this following idea from @BigEars) when the constructs form it would look like how it does when the light cycles form in Tron Legacy. They’d also dissolve like they do in Tron Legacy.
THE PLOT Hal Jordan has moved up in the ranks of the Green Lantern Corps since he defeated Atrocitus. He’s been juggling his life as a test pilot for Ferris-Air and a Green Lantern. For the past few months his partner, and mentor Sinestro has not been present on Oa. The Guardians send Hal, Kilowog and Tomar-Re to Korougar Sinestro’s home planet. Once they reach Korougar they find that Sinestro has become a dictator over the planet ruling with an iron fist…and a yellow ring. After a battle between Sinestro, Arkillo, Amon Sur, Hal Jordan, Kilowog and Tomar Re the Green Lanterns flee Korougar. Hal tells the Guardians about Sinestro using the power of fear. They send a squad of Lanterns out to find Sinestro only to find Korougar in ruins. They are tipped off that Sinestro had moved his Operations to Qwad after the encounter with the GL’s by Kanjar-Ro. Ro tells them this because Sinestro had stolen the yellow element from him to power his Sinestro Corps power battery.
While they are out in space, the Guardians need someone to replace the lanterns that had been out. For sector 2814 they choose John Stewart. He replaces Hal Jordan while he is away.
When the squad of Green Lanterns reaches Qwad they are outnumbered by thousands of Yellow Lanterns. The yellow lanterns attack the green lanterns and they retreat to Oa. The yellow lanterns secretly follow them. Once they all reach Oa there is a huge battle between the Green Lantern Corps and the Sinestro Corps. All Green Lanterns across the universe are called to the battle. Even though the Green Lanterns outnumber the yellow lanterns, but the yellow lanterns out power the green lanterns. Sinestro sneaks into the core and and throws the yellow element into the power battery causing all the power to go out. The yellow lanterns start to take the ring from the Green Lanterns. Hal sneaks into the core after and finds the green element. He smashes his fist into the element until he cracks. All of the energy flows into Hal. He comes out of the core and single handedly fights off the yellow Lanterns and sends Sinestro in a box, into the middle of nowhere trapped. Hal is moved up and named the best Green Lantern of all time, close behind him Kilowog then Tomar Re then John Stewart. THE GREEN LANTERNS
He’s a great actor (one of my favorites) I think that he would be an excellent Hal Jordan. The Kirk he played in Star Trek is the same type of character I want Hal Jordan to be.
Others Considered: Matt Bomer I think Morris Chestnut would make a great John Stewart. John Stewart would be assigned the role of Green Lantern while Hal is out looking for Sinestro.
Others Considered: Idris Elba He voices Kilowog on Green Lantern TAS and I think he has a good voice for the role. He’s (IMHO) that could Kilowog almost as good as the late Michael Clarke Duncan (R.I.P).
Others Considered: none Very talented actor who I think would be phenomenal in the role.
Others Considered: none THE SINESTRO CORPS
Hugo Weaving is a great candidate for Sinestro. He has the acting ability, the presence and as seen in this picture, you won’t even need a heavy amount of CGI to make him look alien, just his eyes.
Steve Blum would make an amazing Arkillo. He would be the voice actor. Why Arkillo? Well Blum voiced Ghostfreak (Ben 10), Vilgax (Ben 10), Starscream (Transformers Prime), Grunt (Mass Effect 2), and many more. Those listed above are just ones that influenced me to choose him. All of the ones above and more of his work could be seen in the video below.
Others Considered: none Michael Rosenbaum I think would be a great Amon Sur. I didn’t just choose him because he was bald. I think he could play the Amon Sur I want to be played out on screen. He wants to avenge his father’s death by killing the green lanterns who he blames for his fathers death.
Others Considered: none Madelynn Rae is an unknown you could say. I see Karu Sil as an insane person that’s why I chose Madelynn Rae. She played Harley Quinn in probably the best fan film
Batman: City of Scars and she is

Others Considered: Keira Knightley OTHER Olivia Wilde would make an exceptional Carol Ferris. She wouldn’t have as big as a role as she did in the first since the majority of the film is in space. (first as in the the first GL movie in
my DCCU. In case you haven’t caught on yet about the DCCU thing go to the very top of the page and read what’s in red)

WHAT! Does he want Kanjar Ro to sound like the joker? That would suck!”, but that’s not true. If you’ve seen Avatar: The Last Airbender you’ve heard Mark Hamill and most likely didn’t even know it. Fire Lord Ozai was voiced by Mark Hamill. Yeah your jaw just dropped.
others considered: none After Credits Scene Sinestro is going insane. He is trapped in a cell construct formed by two Lanterns that are guarding it. He shouts for them to let him go. To robots approach the guards. They instantly kill both the guards. The construct disperses. Sinestro starts choking because of no oxygen. The robots place the yellow ring back on Sinestro’s finger. The robots then say
“Brainiac requests you Thaal Sinestro…”
