Avi Arad, head of Marvel Studios, is expected to announce next week the entire cast of the upcoming Fantastic Four movie with Michael Chiklis (The Shield) the company’s choice for Ben Grimm/The Thing.

"Chiklis is tough and rugged, yet he has a likable quality - and that's The Thing," FF Creator Stan Lee told USA Today.

The paper reports The Notebook's Rachel McAdams (pictured) is a likely choice to play Sue Storm/the Invisible Woman.

"She'd be great," Arad hinted. "We like her a lot."
