Check Out Some More Concept Art From Josh Trank's Fantastic Four

Fox's Fantastic Four reboot gave the studio a second chance at bringing Marvel's first family to the big screen.  The movie had potential, and more than enough creative ideas and talent but it ultimately failed to include a third act in the film and capture the hearts of fans, critics, and the general audience.

While we all patiently wait to hear the news that the Fantastic Four are finally coming home to Marvel Studios....  Check out this concept art from gadget-bot.com of the Fantasticar, the Baxter building, and Reed's first inter-dimensional teleporter device.

Did Josh Trank's Fant4stic ever have a chance?  Sound off in the comments!

Fox should have said "fùck it" and had Tim Burton direct this instead of Trank.

That way we could have all pointed and laughed at how weird they looked.

I'm still getting nightmares from the concept art of HERBIE.

"Hey, I've got an idea. What if the Fantaticar was... get this... just a car! As unfantastic as possible!"

This movie really was an ungodly nexus of dull, uninspired, pretentious, and dumb, wasn't it. It's like they looked at the Amazing Spider-Man reboot, read all of the criticism about it and said: "This is everything we should be doing with our reboot, only double down on all that stuff that people didn't like."

This movie was absolute dogshit. Probably Jollem's favorite movie.

@Jeight

But that's the thing. Fant4stic isn't mature, at all. Every major character acts like an emotionally-stunted teenager. The big second-act plot pivot is the kind of drunken decision you usually see in shitty teen romp comedies. The few really dark moments are little more than homages to other films.

They just marketed this movie the wrong way... They should've advertised in HighTimes Magazine and in all Legalized States more than non legalized...

Lmao, @McGee is my go to critic for CBMs, every time, his reviews are spot on.

That could have worked though....

The third act could have been a "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey" tribute
