FF Get Animated, Again

The Fantastic Four will return in cartoon form for the third time since the mid-1960s as part of a deal Marvel signed yesterday.

Marvel inked a deal with Antefilm Productions to start a Fantastic Four animated series in late 2006. The companies aim to build off the success they hope for next summer's motion picture release.

A total of 26, 30-minute 2D/3D combo animated episodes are going to be developed. There's no word on which network would carry the series.
