Things I Want To See In The Fantastic 4 Reboot

Here are the things I want to see in the Fantastic Four reboot.

I did not really like the F4 movies, they just didn't feel like F4 to me,
no monsters,no inter-dimensional adventures,no time travel adventures and no fantastical, huge, crazy inventions by Reed Richards, oh, and Galactus was a freaking cloud, yeah I know a giant man would look wierd, but at least make it ressemble him!

1. NO ORIGIN STORY!!!!

We Don't have to waste 40 minutes of the movie showing how they got their powers, it could be shown in a flashback or maybe just having Johhny Storm being asked about it on a news report and he could say "Well, we went to space in a rocket and got hit by a space storm that gave us our awesome powers!"

2. Crazy Adventures

The Fantastic 4 are always going on crazy adventures through space, time and into the negative zone fighting aliens and inter-dimensional beings! In the other movies, we didn't get that, I want to see Reed build a crazy inter-dimensional machine and go on amazing adventures.

3. Mr. Fantastic's Inventions

In the 60s, Jack Kirby drew these huge.complex machine's that Reed builds, in the other movies, he only built the Fantasticar. We need to see how smart he REALLY is. I would like to see these in the reboot as they were drawn in the 60s but designed by Apple.

4. The Villains

In the other movies, Dr. Doom was the villain in BOTH of them. I think FOX was trying to use the same villain in all of there comic book movies, just like Magneto in EVERY X-Men movie. The Fantastic 4 have some great villains. I would want to see 3 movies; you could show of at least 5-6 villians through the trilogy like Mole-Man, The Puppet Master, Annihilus or even maybe Impossible Man!!!!!

5. Exciting And Fun Atmosphere

I want this movie to feel fun and adventurous, like if indiana jones had sex with Star Trek and cheated on Star Trek with The Avengers and then had sex with The Avengers and The Avengers cheated on Star Trek with The Incredibles and gave birth to this movie. it's the best way I can describe it. I would like the soundtrack of this movie to sound great and fun and make you feel good, like this:

So they are the things I want to see in the reboot, what do you want to see?

What DrDooom said ^

But realistically, here is why I stand by the idea that Doom be in the movie if not the main villain at all:

Firstly, Doom's too big a villain/character to wait for. He's too poignant, rich, and well rounded to ignore, especially in a story of his arch foes the Fantastic Four.

Two, while you are right and there is a plethera of foes for them to face, none of them brings the same level of vitality to the story as Victor Von Doom does; Puppet Master? Impossible Man? Do we actually WANT audiences to take the F4 seriously by having them face off against a little green version of Aladin's geni or a little bald man who controls people with his mind and THATS it?

Even Moleman and Annihilus which are by far richer villains, aren't really first movie material, with Annihilus being a maybe if you just wanted to have them be in Space and have a deadspace/Pandorum like scenario which is the only instance in which Annihilus has been or seemed threatening.

My point is, the ones who are graspy enough to be a first movie villain, origin or no, would be someone like, Doom, Silver Surfer, or Namor, with Namor making sense as a second movie foe.

And while I agree that Doom's been used to the death as a first foe, to say "So we'll just do it different in the reboot" i feel is like doing batman's origin without having his parents killed, its a cheat to both the F4 and the Marvel universe

in fact I'd go so far as to say if you have a writer/writing team who understands Doom and what a threat he is/can be, then you will have an excellent movie.

I agree with Doom. I want all the things you list here too, I just hope we get at least one of those things, but I doubt it will be a good movie without at least 2 of them.

It needs to be a origin. People said the same for Man Of Steel and that looks pretty bad ass.

Yes to the team's origin story, and yes to Dr. Doom, I'd say. None of those two elements which make the team such a great creation even treated with the slightest amount of justice - for the latter especially, who got reduced from perhaps the greatest comic book villain of all, to a mere street-level baddie. I do agree, however, on your point regarding Mr. Fantastic's inventions, and how it should have an adventure atmosphere, although it doesn't necessarily have to be all interdimensional stuffs whatsoever. Not saying that it CAN'T involve that element, but it's not a must in my book, either; I don't mind them staying on Earth for the whole time, as long as it presents a great story which also nails the interpretation of the material source.

I agree with you on all points. We have Millar who's kinda helping Josh Trank a little so if he's putting ANY input then I'm not worried.

They should really go for the feeling you get when looking at Kirbys original comic work
