According to the site, Rourke was in talks back when the Latino Review boys broke the story but the deal fell apart. Now apparently

"The two sides came back to the table in the last couple of weeks."

If this does happen, this will be Rourke's third time featuring in a CBM after playing Marv in Sin City and later this year as Whiplash in Iron Man 2.

The film will be directed by Markus Nispel and distributed by Nu Image/Millenium Films and sees Jason Momoa playing the barbarian warrior created by Robert E. Howard. WWE wrestler Shad Gaspard is also rumored to be a front runner for the villain, Ukaffa.

Shooting is scheduled to start in Bulgaria in March.

Nikke Finke over at Deadline Hollywood confirms this and also..

"At the same time, Rourke is negotiating for the Tarsem Singh-directed War of the Gods and the part of King Hyperion, the ruler of Ancient Greece who does battle with the divines."

Check out the article on that movie a little down the main page.
