Earlier this month,
Jumanji star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
announced that production on the upcoming
Welcome to the Jungle sequel would move to some "pretty wild locations," teasing "hot jungles, icy snow capped mountains, and the blistering desert dunes."
Over the weekend, the cast of the movie shared some behind the scenes photos and videos from the set which, indeed, confirm that filming is currently taking place in the desert. More specifically, the film is being shot in the deserts of New Mexico, home of the Navajo Nation.
Johnson posted a hilarious video of fellow co-star Kevin Hart training to riding a camel, along with some more heartfelt messages about meeting Jonathan Nez, President of the Navajo Nation, along with First Lady Phefelia Nez, and more.
Fellow co-stars Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan (Avengers: Endgame) also shared some photos from the set.
