With the Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug due out this December and the first trailer due out tomorrow, you would think the New Zealand made film would have its own world premiere. Right now, that is not the case. Back in 2010, there were legal disputes between the unions and filmmakers that caused the government to intervene. Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema have both signed a deal since then that would allow only one premiere to be held in New Zealand. Since New Zealand is out of the question for a world premiere, where do you think the world premiere should be held?

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug hits theaters on December 13th 2013
