Following a rather lovely final trailer for Beauty and The Beast, Walt Disney Studios has put out two new TV spots for the upcoming live-action retelling of the animated classic.

While one doesn't seem to feature much in the way of new footage, the other contains a few exciting new shots of Gaston and The Beast doing battle, and Dan Stevens' Prince Adam beginning his transformation into (no, not He-Man) the cursed creature of the title.

Check 'em out below, and let us know if you're looking forward to this in the usual place.

Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.

Beauty and the Beast hits theaters on March 17, 2017.

This'll be a massive hit. Just let Kong get his due.

I don't understand why there's a live version of this film. Call me a cynic but the animated film looks like it'll do everything better. I guess it's easy money for Disney. Now we're also getting a live action Lion King. Obvious cash grabs; remakes right now, particularly animated to live action, are easy money.

Lookinf forward to it. Although, as far as Disney live-action remakes go, I think I'm looking forward to Peter Pan the most. It's both my favorite Disney movie and favorite fairy tale, and the Pete's Dragon remake was really good, so I know that it's in good hands with David Lowery. The Winnie the Pooh remake does seem interesting to me, through I don't think it'll be that great. I hope that, given it seems like we're not gonna get another Alice in Wonderland sequel, I'd love to see an actual remake of the original Disney film with more elements for the book.

Movie looks exactly the same as the animated on, except it's not animated so it's automatically less interesting.
